Killers: every single one.
Survivors: Nea, Dwight, Claudette, Kate, David, Steve, and Felix.
Survivor main, ~3k hours.
-
As a fellow survivor main, I have to say:
no.
Also, imagine crying about a not-even-that-strong-to-begin-with perk.

farming doesn't count. 😜
Someone must have already pointed this out to you, but there's -literally-, and I really mean literally, no difference in saving someone with a yellow flashlight with no add-ons and saving with a purple flashlight with any kind of add-ons. The timing is the same. You just have to practice it and get this timing down. The only difference is that the purple is gonna take longer to ran out, blind the killer for a little longer, and/or the beam is gonna reach a little farther.
Ans here's a good (and current) tutorial for you on how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9T_-zdXniQ

In other news, water is wet.

People who complain about camping are (usually) people who enable camping to work.

this game dies in 2 months, dunno why you talking about 2 years LOL.
On topic: if you are in an advantageous position as killer, just call their bluff and eat the DS 1% of the time they might actually miss it too. If it is already endgame and you have lost, you can just wait out the timer in the locker, or fake walking away and try to slug if they attempt to get out slowly (lust make sure you lunge and not tap M1).
I really love the DbD doomsayers that try and predict when the game is gonna die. It's fun to save posts like this to check back a year later and have a few laughs.

I think we just got trolled and baited. Nice.
I really do think that too, especially when someone in the thread says such absurd things as, "The original Freddy was so OP it was ridiculous."
Either these people who are praising Old Freddy are trolling, or they were completely new players when he was around. Because indeed, he was only good against inexperienced players. But against anyone who played the game for at least a little bit, he was by far the worst killer in the game.
Which is not surprising, considering that, in fact, his whole power used to be having to wait 7 seconds until he could attack someone.

But what if 4 survivors load into the game and they all have the same play style?
Someones gonna get caught and then that person is most likely gonna be screwed.
Problem with Solo Qs in survivor are this: No one wants to get off their gen/totem/chest because they have the mind set..theres 2 other people someone else will get him.
By the time everyone realizes no one has gotten said guy off hook hes now in struggle stage.
Honestly, I play most solo queues and I rarely have that kind of thing happening in my games. I'll usually stick to what I am doing, and I have a good grasp on calculating how long it would take me to reach someone on the hook and unhook them the moment before they hit the next stage. I'll wait around until this limit, and only then abandon what I am doing to go save. Most of the time they'll already be saved by then and I won't even have to let go of whatever else I'm doing, 'cause people in rank 1 tend to generally be very altruistic.

the difference is if they heal from Plagues power then her power is upgraded, FF/Legion isnt upgraded.
Sure, but cleansing at a fountain takes very few seconds, while mending AND healing takes a lot more. So each has their own benefits and downsides. It's also easier for Legion to spread some damage, thanks to the killer's instinct.
I'm not arguing that they're powerful, by the way, just that their power isn't completely useless as people seem to think.
(Anyway, you should never cleanse against a Plague anyway, and probably not against Legion as well).
-
Pardon me if I'm wrong, but how has he changed at all in this respect?
Ever since his first rework his power, just like the Plague's, is supposed to assure just a first hit, and not a down. And, if you get lucky and survivors are somewhat close to each other, quickly spread some damage that means wasted time for them.
After the first hit, just like Plague, he's a regular M1 killer for the down and the sacrifices. That's really how he's been ever since first nerf. The only exception is when you have enduring and spirit fury (which I feel are musts on him) and you manage to get an injured survivor to (stupidly) stun you out of your power and ensure a quick down as well.

The only ones who are immature (what a lousy way of offending others lol) are those whom purposely play to ruin the fun of others, and thats exactly whats happening by tunneling and camping.
I wasn't trying to offend in any way. It's immature because expecting your opponent to play in a way that you are more comfortable with and complaining if he doesn't and you die is simply not knowing how to be OK with losing a match. And that's immaturity in a nutshell. Learn how to lose without getting salty.
Camping and tunneling are very legitimate and even necessary strategies under a series of circumstances, and not only done as a way to ruin someone else's fun. Learn to regonize those situations and deal with them, you'll be a better survivor and player for it, and much more valuable to your team overall than ignorantly complaining in the post-game chat.

Looks like someone was camping and tunneling. Thats not the way the game is supposed to be played.
And here we have an example of an immature survivor main who wants to impose (inexistent) rules on others, as I was saying.

Play how you want, and block any or all communication channels (profile comments, private messages, anything else) if you don't want to deal with it.
It's perfectly understandable for people to get annoyed if they go through something they find unfun or they consider unfair, but obviously there's a difference between that and going out of their way to talk trash because someone plays in a way they dislike. It's just scrub behavior at that point, trying to discredit their own loss by claiming someone else didn't "win properly".
As long as you're not a hypocrite that gets mad when your opponent(s) play in ways you might find unfun while you play in ways they might find unfun, there's nothing wrong with playing however you want.
Preach.

Honestly, as 2k hours survivor main, I absolutely and completely agree with this post and also empathize with your anger about it. While it's obviously not true of everyone, since I usually play solo queue I have to say that a relevant amount of the survivors I get matched with turn out to be... well, as you put it, people who just need to chill.
People who want to impose (inexistent) rules on others, who complain whenever they lose – accusing the killer for a variety of their own mistakes, who DC if they get caught first, who blame the killer for not playing "nice" after someone DCs (it's cool if they do, but they don't have to and you shouldn't be entitlted and expect them to), who call a killer toxic for camping during the match (not realizing it usually works out in the survivors favor), who call a killer toxic for camping someone after the gens have been done, etc.
However, I do fear that this is unavoidable. I think most of them are just immature people who would act up anyway, instead of learning to just take the L and move on to the next match.
Do what you must and what you want to do to try kill us, I welcome the challenge. I wish other survivors did as well.
I also agree with some of the sentiments being put out in this thread. Don't engage with these people. They are not worth your time. Just say something to the effect of "gg" in the post-game chat and move on.

2k hours survivor main here. My respects to Sally.
She definitely will be missed. I still hold out hope in my heart that her (completely unnecessary) base-kit nerf doesn't go live.

From a survivor point of view, I don't find it all that hard to dodge the gas. Nor do I find it annoying. He feels like a somewhat balanced killer, if a little underwhelming. Much better than the low tiers of the game (poor Freddy), and inciting a different chase style. I like it.
