I still play her and love her, I'd definitely call her my main. Interestingly I'm holding my mid rank because it just tends to be harder to pip with her due to how she plays.

There actually was a time when killer bots existed, it was ages ago. The only thing they would do is stand in place and swing every couple of seconds until the match ended.
Gosh that was ages ago...

Yeah, completely justified if a Killer DCes on a Map he does not like. But god forbid a Survivor DCs and the Killer does not get his precious BBQ-Stack. This is basically a catastrophe.
I mean... It is one Map. If you get on this Map and lose. Suck it up. You cannot win them all.
All this whining from DBD players is simply pathetic.
To be fair when a Killer disconnects the match immediately ends, when a survivor disconnects it results in a worsened experience for those who are forced to stay. A Killer leaving only wastes offerings and the Killer's add-ons, so they actually take the bigger hit in that sense, especially considering how long Killer queues tend to be as a rule anyway.

This map is frustrating in a way that words fail to describe as a mid-tier killer against even purple ranks. I have fences and windows in the worst of my nightmares.

At this point I honestly don't understand why perks have ranks anymore, there are just so many that it would still take quite some time to get them all even if you didn't have to find them 3 different times in the web. I understand the developer's intent to make earlier ranks stronger, but I genuinely can't understand the need for weaker tiers to begin with with the sheer amount of perks in the game.
How many other people have wanted to cry because they could only find one rank of BBQ, or worse, none?

Never get in a chase you say? LOL
I've ran the Lithe/Dance With Me/Quick & Quiet combo. That combo would literally have 0 point and be even more situational and dead if the Killer gets a free aura read on me. The game really doesn't need MORE AURA reads. Like legit, do you want looping to be the only method?
I appreciate your hesitation but consider the 'big four' perks that most killers tend to run.
BBQ, Ruin, Enduring, Spirit Fury. Sometimes people throw in sloppy or some such but those tend to be considered the most meta, especially for mid tier killers who can't afford to get looped as much as they currently do so they depend on spirit fury.
Is literally ANY buff that's been suggested enough to really quash any of these perks? I can't even remember the last time I went against a QQ build. The same goes for survivors, the vast majority tend to run an exhaustion perk, adrenaline, DS and what was once MoM.
I feel like the the FEAR of what something might become is often far more intimidating than the reality, especially when you consider that most people will always pick what is strongest, just take a look at Wake Up.

This is ridiculous. That bug is just op for everyone to use. smh
It's disappointing because it's hard enough to main a mid-tier killer at mid to higher ranks, and with people running this it makes it even harder to accomplish anything before all the generators are done.

Are these bonuses active all game or just after the gates are powered?
They're all game, it works even if the perk isn't lit up.

Thank goodness, I'm also not a fan of this change either. I believe the flashlight VFX changes were a positive step, and that the red flash was a negative one.

I understand what people are saying about the shards, and I appreciate that it's an option. However I beg everyone to consider that methods for acquiring content don't need to be exclusive. Having that option for those wanting to spend nothing and just earn through game time is absolutely great! However, I think that the F2P elements would work beautifully alongside content bundles as well.
I also understand that there are games whose content is even more cost prohibitive, and I think it's a huge bummer because that's definitely been a strong consideration of mine when looking into new games. I just hate to think someone would be turned off to this by seeing the vast majority of the game locked away initially with no real feasible buy-in.
The input has been superb though, and I love that everyone's been really level-headed with their experiences and opinons.

Why would a new player want all characters at once anyway?
They could run into killers they find interesting as a survivor, watch streamers play killers they're interested in, or need perks from killers they dont' have. Just about every killer has at least one useful perk, and the SoS only updates once a week.

I really feel like the collective bitterness of the playerbase is making us miss the point a bit.

I appreciate what you're saying but I don't entirely agree. Zubat may be a poor example due to his unusual talent, but the opportunities in which he can saw are pretty frequent. I see him punishing everything from poorly timed vaults to sloppily executed loops at rank 1.
The greater point though is that if we agree that Billy is powerful but not overbearing and also agree that most other killers are -weaker- than him, then it means that we should probably start pushing the most disappointing killers toward a stronger and more threatening direction.

Hillbilly is the most balanced killer in the game. Probably since release, because I can't remember a time frame when Billy was to strong or garbage.
Billy has plenty of counters, has some high skills, mindgames and is loopable.
IMO anyone who sees Billy as unbalanced has 0 clue about DbD and should stop talking about balancing in dbd.
Billy should be blueprint for all killers. He should be loopable, mindgames possibilities, some dangerous m2 attack and high mobility.
That's exactly my point, if someone with the ability to zoom across the map at 230% speed and take down a survivor instantly is considered balanced and the standard, then there's an absolute ton we can do with everyone else to get them on that same level, some more than others clearly.

Zubat is an exceptional hillbilly, and Pug is surprisingly good at knowing all the nuances of leatherface's chainsaw. With enough time put into a particular killer as well as playing killer you can start to overcome the glaring issues some killers have. I adamantly believe Freddy needs his rework however, and do not believe his current toolset makes for compelling gameplay to being with.

I disagree with this strongly and love the fact that event skins can be purchased outside of events. I hated this form of exclusivity in overwatch and felt like it only punished/disincentivized new players from joining a game only to find out there's a bunch of great stuff they have absolute no chance of getting.
Please continue to keep doing what you're doing on this issue bhvr.

I honestly think there should just be a brown addon for huntress that puts a crosshair on the screen. It could be helpful for newer players picking her up.

I've been seeing a few people, can't remember the major person's name, also suggest taking away the Red stain. But do we know how much larger the Frenzy makes his TR? If his natural TR is too small and his extra TR from his Frenzy is not adjusted then he'll be even weaker because his TR won't be large enough for him to find people even with M&A. Of course, your addon suggestion would partially fix it but then he wouldn't be able to use anything else. If his TR in Frenzy were adjusted accordingly then making his TR really small would be a great idea and give him a huge edge, I'm ok with him being slow, it incentivizes strategic play.Yes, at the current moment Legion's umodified non-frenzy radius is 24m, as soon as you trigger it becomes the normal 32m terror radius during frenzy unmodified. Using things like M&A, or the new pins (hopefully) could help improve Legion's frenzy tracking immeasurably and keep the combat and chasing more consistent, as well as keep survivors guessing as to your location.
