And thats part of the issue, ranks should matter. It shouldn’t be just who plays the most and who plays with friends can get higher.
Ranks are meant to help put you with a group of people of similar skill

Survivor is fine but i prefer killer, i just hate how survivor favoured the game is.
killers need to play a near perfect game against top survivors, its stupid stressful.
A 20 second chase could cost you an entire match.
They desperately need to increase gen times, they nerfed them by like 5 seconds recently but thats not even noticeable.

Depends on my build, if its a build i intend to be chased with i do

Its stupid that you’d punish the players that play the game most from being able to lvl up new killers immediately.
They hate killer players, its been essentially said and proven by their actions. Its sad, cross played saved the q times... but for how long?

Everyone saying break the totems its easy, hasnt played much solo q lol its bloody hard to keep track of what ones have been touched.
And people complaining about ds but then saying noed is an easy counter... counter ds by slugging.

It's amazing how some survivors constantly complain about NOED, yet when I run Haunted Grounds or Devour Hope and get one or two instant downs out of them mid-game I never get these complaints after the match. Yet NOED is really just an Exposed condition perk like Haunted Grounds or Devour Hope that happens to trigger at the very end of the match instead of in the middle of it. If anything Haunted Grounds in fact is probably better than NOED since the downs you get from it happen earlier in the match so have a better chance of building momentum to snowball into keeping the gens from being completed at all.
Also this notion that if the gens are done the killer is "bad" is nonsense. The game is designed to be balanced around 2 kills per game with exactly 2 kills more or less being a draw. Which means that you should expect probably 60-70% of games between equally matched opponents to have between 0-2 kills (i.e. losses and draws), all of which involve the exits being open and the gens all being done. Therefore the post-gen completion phase that NOED uses is not a sign of a "bad killer", it's a normal part of the game that even good killers are going to experience all the time against equally good survivors even when they play well.
You at least know devour and haunted at least tell you that you’re exposed.
noed you dont know till its to late, and yes you just take out the totem but it can quickly snowball

I care less about rank and more about the toxicity of survivors. I regularly have to message low rank killers to tell the im sorry for my teams toxicity (im a rank 6 solo q survivor and red rank killer)
Though ive started maining survivor since the recent patch nerfing gens.... which honestly i see gens popping quicker now which is weird. Its just de-motivating to see gens get popped so quick. You still have to play a near perfect game to get a 4k against swf red ranks.

I think how a killer gets kills should matter, ive had matches as killer where a team hook blocks and tries to flash light save horribly and i down them all before they even get a gen. So i hook them all once and they die.... and i as the killer did my job. Killed all 4 and they did no gens, but I only just hit safety pip. Yes i get thats to discourage tunneling and camping, but if the survivors are making 5iq plays then they should pip down and i should pip up as i was well above their skill level.
Imo they should expand the pip system to have the ability to lose 3 pips, a safety pip and then 2 pip ups. It would discourage dumb plays, supremely hurt tunneling and camping killers, as well as hurt cocky survivors.
but make it so as survivor if youre hooked in the first say minute and your team mates unhook you at stupid times cause you to die early you should safety pip at least.
with it hurting camping killers and hurting survivors making bad plays it should help balance things out more.
And also adjust the killers penalty for being near a hooked survivor to if they’re looking at them in a certain radius then it adds a multiplier penalty. And add a delay to the unhooking alert, like 3 seconds.
