This is true but when people go against him and they camp they depip as well

Also revising what I said, I mean make it as hard for him to camp as it is for other killers, cause unlike other killers if people come to save The hooked person he can easily down them unlike hillbilly where he has to spam to hold his saw

“Oh boy it’s daily rant about how survivors are overpowered!” Spine chill only gives you a yellow bar when you’re looking at them and even then it’s not much and the only good combo it has is with resilience or lithe, due to the fact one is for gens while the other is escaping, does it synergize well yes does it need to be nerfed well no, due to the fact you guys can one see if someone with spinechill is working on a gen with someone due to discordance, or doesn’t matter with anything if you have noed and also doesn’t matter if they have it if you have devour cause if you’re monitoring your totems all you have to do is constantly check that one or just run devour on trapper like me and forget about it, spinechill only gives a small 6% boost to anything but has a 10% rate for more skill checks while success zones are reduced by 10% honestly if you want them to nerf spinechill then they have to nerf something that gives you guys the advantage as well like whispers for example which basically screams here I am or infectious fright or bitter murmur, rancor etc point being there’s a lot of op perks but honestly neither side really has it easier unless you’re bubba then basically a gg cause nothing matters when you play him you cloud equip 0 perks and still win as him due to the fact he’s a 9 year old could win with him, main thing I’m trying to say is if someone’s running spinechill just run noed or one of the many op perks you have and say f it

Are you playing on console? Maybe flashlights are more of an issue there, but on PC they're easy to deal with.
Simply look down/up to avoid chain flash blinds. That's all...
Yea all I have are console

Like I said I don’t want a nerf just a simple limitation and I would say it’s fair that a killer would have same said limitations

Flashlights are easy to counter.
Not against a SWF when they all have it and can all take hits or one takes a hit and the other one who also has a flashlight can blind
-
@D3_destr0y3r said:
This is more a SWF problem than a problem about the amount of flashlights per game.
4 random survivors with flashlights aren't an issue, but toxic SWF groups are.
This is true, I don’t ask for a nerf but simply that not EVERY one in a swf can use one, like I feel a system where like overwatch you select one hero no one else can select it after you have but to balance it out for survivors who see this as an issue limit the type of perks a killer can have like you can’t have noed and devour at the same time regardless of how one activated later or not
-
It’s like yea I get it dc tech sucks I hate the hatch in general, but honestly if they’re gonna look at problems on killer side, they also have to look at problems on survivor side, like yea they gave us windows but the plan to turn shack into a brick building is now even more against us

It is there for when you REALLY need it (like a real life emergency), not if you want to be a dick to another player.
The option can stay there, it being there is not a problem. The problem comes out when people quit the game to give their allies an advantage, which should not be possible to do without some risks.
And before you say it, NO, losing bps, pip and waiting some time before joining a new game is not a RISK, that is the PUNISHMENT.
And what risks do you suppose they should put? They can’t make it so if someone dcs then no one gets hatch cause that’s unfair to everyone there’s no way to really give the advantage to killers cause that would make the game even more unbalanced
-
Y’all can’t do anything about it XD

DCing is against the rules. Camping is not.
If DCing is against the rules then why is it an option to leave the game?

Ive seen this a few times and i just was watching hexy's stream and a swf did if and admitted to it in post chat. Why haven't the devs responded to this or punished the people who use this exploit?
If this is an exploit then so is camping, you can’t take away one without dealing with the other, you already get a dc ban if u disconnect from a game, and you get no blood points and depip honestly if the devs deal with this then to balance it out they need to deal with camping

Maybe if you people would actually play on killer side too those wait times would be shorter. And stop talking like facecamps happens every match, it doesn't. I haven't been facecamped or proxycamped once today and I've played for 6 or so hours.
dude I get facecamped at a minimum of 10 everyday I get on dead by Daylight and I love playing killer more than I like playing survivor being survivor sucks
-
Im just gonna say this real quick camping is poor game strategy and should not be rewarded as much as it is, a killer could get more then 5,000 bp for camping everyone and that is unfair, just sit and let other survivors do gens? Really? So you depip while they don’t, while everyone else gets to escape you have to suffer not getting the chance to do a thing, the half hour wait for that match and you just get to sit there on a hook and die and not gain anything from that, it ruins the games experience for the survivor not so much the killer, the killers still gain from camping while the survivor whose being face camped Gets nothing, say you’re new to the game and the first reaction you get is sitting on the hook with the killer in your face, that’s not fun in fact if my first match was a face camping killer and the pattern repeated itself multiple times than it should, then I would just delete the game because what’s the point of playing a game where you get to sit and do nothing, you can’t actually play the game that you paid for, honestly there was less camping 3 years ago I’ve played this game for that long and there’s been more campers than ever, honestly if camping should be allowed than just have an algorithm that sets up dcing survivors with face campers so survivors who actually wanna play the game can play with a killer who won’t ruin their experience

I'd say that's not giving the devs enough credit. They listen to both sides pretty equally. On the survivor side they nerfed Ruin, buffed Sabo, and they're always nerfing Pig (*makes sad oink noises*). Not that she needs any nerfs. On the killer side, they buffed Doctor and reworked some of the maps. They're also looking to fix the opening of the game to make it more fun for both sides. If Devs listened to only killers, DS, BT, Dead Hard, Unbreakable, and Adrenaline would be nerfed. And Ruin would've remained the same. A lot of killers relied on Ruin to slow the game down, and now they have to find other perks to rely on. (Personally I like PGTW)
DS is already nerfed, adrenaline is barely ran unbreakable is not very often seen and not much a problem but that’s the problem that’s the only major perk that’s been nerfed a lot of reliable survivor perks aren’t really reliable as much anymore, where as killers if they play right can rely on their perks

All killers do is complain about how overpowered survivors are and only they are heard
-
If Survivors can’t get Camping fixed, then ALL Killers need to actually shut up about SWF or survivors being “overpowered” Literally all the good perks of survivors have been nerfed, while killers have not, very few killer perks have been nerfed and the only nerfed killer is Nurse, like are you kidding me?! Doctor was fine before now he’s one of the most hated to go against

I don't understand why Behaviour doesn't punish hook suicides the same as disconnects. It makes no sense and legitimizes griefing, because it amounts to nothing more than a penalty-free DC.
Just had a game where two players -- red rank players! -- suicided on-hook inside of the first two minutes. Then, somehow, I'm the one who gets de-pipped for it. It's unbelievable how maliciously negligent Behaviour is with certain aspects of this game, and this is most certainly one of them.
And if one hooking suicide should be punishable then so should camping, if the devs punish hook suicides at all they will lose more players due to the fact the players already make the game disappointing as it is

Its not about 4king its about the principal of the game dcing is not allowed and should not be glorified neither should exploits also its really comical when people like yourself can't disprove that point so you attempt to call it a strat again read the rules of the game before you try to debate because when you are not up to date on the rules of the game you set yourself up to get proven wrong.
Actually if you do all the generators open a door boom you escape if you find the hatch before the killer does boom you escape if a survivor is slugged you wait that survivors bleed out timer and or camp a door you escape there's ways to escape but since you are trying to glorify dcing to give hatch you are basically saying "Im okay with exploits being in the game as long as they give me the advantage."
Then so should Camping and tunneling, you want dcing to be punished more maybe you should look at the reason why people dc

Oh so Bc I found hatch I escape right? So because I was on hatch I should’ve escaped right, oh wait no because killers have priority and he closed the hatch while I was on it, all he did was camp all game and used NOED, you guys are gonna sit and complain oh survivors have too much power, when you guys have NOED Devour Franklins Nurses, Pop, what more do you want? You want a perk that gets rid of the hatch all together?

@MonsterInMyMind said:

Dcing to give someone hatch is abusing how the hatch works so that the killer has little to no chance to play around it by definition its actually an exploit if you read behaviors rules its an unintended thing that most survivor mains glorify when in reality you are abusing something to get an advantage you otherwise wouldn't have. You can gladly go read the rules for yourself Disconnecting and Exploits are both against the rules.
Also i made a couple posts regarding tactical dc's and how to eliminate them i go more in depth on those posts.
Okay so they DC so the other survivor gets hatch so what? Oh you want 4K too bad deal with it the person who dcs gets a timer ban, de pips and no bloodpoints you might as well get rid of that hatch if your gonna complain about people strategizing how to get someone out
-

Hatch a survivor dcing to deny the death timer is abusing the hatch mechanic meaning its broken if someone can abuse it.
So if someone dcs so their friend can get the hatch how is that broken?

There are valid complaints about ds i can name a couple if you'd like Locker invisibility,Rewards Terrible Play.
Justifying someone dcing because they didnt find something fun is not a valid argument slugging is a valid strategy that has counters if a killer slugs in the end game that other survivor can simply let the one on the ground bleed out it's not that serious also if the killer finds the hatch said survivor can just tempt luck with a door and with wake up almost 80% of the time the door is open before a heartbeat is even heard.
Regardless of points and a 3k what should have been a 4k but a survivor abused a broken mechanic stop justifying it you are basically saying thats acceptable that the survivor did that which if you are you may need to re read the rules of the game feller.
I’m sorry what broken mechanic?

Actually people only one due to camping, proxying or survivors that don’t save, it shouldn’t be punished due to the reason that one hooking is more the killers fault than the survivors

What do you suggest?
I suggest they actually balance the game for once, saying survivors have the upper hand is an overstatement considering if one runs perks you can’t counter than there’s nothing you can do
-
I hope they remove bubbas ability to enforce camping, but at the same time I don’t want the killers to be overpowered either
-
I’ve played this game for 3 years, and it’s gotten a bit worse than it was 3 years ago, don’t get me wrong I love the killers and I respect the work, but there is an imbalance between killers and survivors it is way easier playing as killer even against a survive with friends because with a SWF you just gotta get rid of them right off the bat
-
And campers don’t really get punished at all, no one cares about the crest system at all besides people trying to pip, and it’s only one crest that’s affected by camping, and it’s only due to being close to a hooked survivor, a killer can still get 20,000 and camp all 4 survivor as billy, like I just died to and that’s the sad part is they are still rewarding, I didn’t go near hooked survivors because of it and I did the gens but again face camping and lack of pallets
-
Like I try and play the game for fun because that’s what they’re about but players like this take that fun away
-
There should be something to combat camping though like a perk you have to work for so less players do it, I’m in red ranks and I still get lobbies with camping killers due to there being no ranking system anymore, I’m tired of losing pips because of this or trying to actually enjoy the game and encounter players that make The game not so much fun anymore

The problem is, you're stuck in 'Camping should be punished/not allowed' mode.
It punishes itself (by losing points and throwing games) and it is allowed. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but that's all there is to it.
Anything that 'cancels' camping would be abused, because things that were tried WERE abused.
I’m not saying cancel it completely but give a chance to fight it, I just went up against a billy that loved to face camp, and we got all the gens done and guess what happens uses his chainsaw to face camp but the minute he saw me open the door he came to me and chased me to areas that had no pallets, which is also another problem, some maps are lucky enough to have 10 or more pallets, considering there’s perks that basically nerf pallets all together why nerf maps that used to have pallets and give us absolutely nothing to work with
-
Like just face camping, I have no problem with proxy, just face camping by itself is my only problem besides some of freddys insane range which my friend witnessed me get killed by
-
I do feel there should be a perk that does cancel camping, that’s all, deliverance obviously won’t work due to the fact if your the first person hooked there’s no point and you can no longer use it which is also a problem that I hope gets fixed due to the fact it’s not overpowered you unhook yourself and your broken for a minute adrenaline doesn’t work with it so at least either give it a buff so you have it at the start or give a perk that cancels camping, cause even two games I did as killer I didn’t camp, I just left and then when they got unhooked smack them back down because when all 4 of them have a flashlight I tend to resort to every dirty trick besides face camping
-

No. It's unfair to punish. Because depip squads can force a camp (as they used too back when there WAS a punishment) and force the Killer to cap BP.
Again; There should be NO punishment. It will be abused in any way, shape, and form by Survivors.
Friend just came up with a name for the perk I thought up earlier The one I said you need 4 tokens in order to be immune from being grabbed or injured while unhooking a survivor he called it Not Dead Yet
-
And like I said @Entity_Hugs you do have to work for it

It feels somewhat unfair to have limited immunity. But I'm not on the balance team.
It’s only for as long as the survivor is being unhooked, the second they are unhooked they are no longer immune a leatherface chainsaw would down them

Then they are playing bad and will lose the game and learn to not camp.
It sucks, it happens to me, but all you can do is accept that the Killer sucks and move on. The Killer is throwing the game; what other punishment should there be?
Now if the dangling Survivor got some BP for the Killer being within <x> meters, like a 'Distraction bonus', that would reduce the sting some. It should not equate a full match's worth of BP, of course (I mean, you did get out-played if you got downed & hooked), but it should have a decent amount.
And idk about you but I run deliverance so it’s not only an insult that I get face camped but that I just waisted a perk slot at least if I get face camped and I have deliverance and decisive I could care less

No but it's not up to the game or the Killer to spoon feed you an unhook just because you want it.
You do gens. When the Killer realizes his food is not walking onto his baited hook, he has to leave or possibly give up 1-3 generators.
Once he leaves, THEN you go unhook. You don't get to say 'But I want to unhook NOW!' or 'I should be able to unhook when I want' and expect it to happen.
If you try to unhook while the Killer camps, it's your fault. And if the Killer camps an entire hooking, he's given up half the game for one kill. They will soon learn to not do that.
..Well, they will learn to not do it if Survivors stop coming to the baited hook like starving fish.
And that's all 'Punish camping!" threads are, at the core; Survivors claiming they should pick when an unhook happens, or wanting the unhooks when they want it, and getting angry that they lost when they walked to a Killer actively waiting and looking for Survivors.
And don’t get me wrong I’m not saying it’s fair for survivors to unhook a survivor right after they’ve been hooked, I’m saying punish the campers who sit there and let 5 gens go by because they want that kill, literally I could get on play solo and get camped by a leather face reving his chainsaw in my face just waiting for someone to unhook me but then everyone does gens and then leaves because of that
