  • I stopped reading after ‘too hard for the survivors’ like, top kek.
try playing a game a shame killer past Rank 15 and you’ll see just how ‘OP’ the killers are aka not very. The game is balanced extremely badly, it’s hard af low ranks but the minute you start ping higher it becomes far too difficult and a bit of a chore as the killer. You have to full on sweat to get a much deserved 4k sometimes.
42 hours is nowhere near close enough with a game like this to pass judgment.
dont ever complain again, if the developers listen to idiots like You the game will never be fun for killers.
  • Not a chance, it would be horrible to ply on Switch, lets not.
  • Lets not appreciate the developers who can’t even manage to stick to promises they made regarding simultaneous releases etc.
i don’t appreciate them at all.

Anyone buying Auric Cells after this are just shills, I hope you enjoy it when someone [BAD WORD]’s you and doesn’t even take you for a meal first.
    thats what’s happening here.
THEYRE GOING IN [BAD WORD] DRY!!!

Who hurt you as a child?

    BHVR obviously

You're aware that the delay is due to microsoft/sony and not BHVR right ?
At this point it's just jealousy and it smells pretty bad.
Sorry for your loss, I guess ?

WHY are people ignoring the fact it isn’t Sony or Microsoft who are to blame? They offer same day verification, they offer updates on how your certification is going down to a tee?
They already stated once that the delay on the update isn’t on them but is on BHVR?
BHVR could be doing a hell of a lot more and be giving us a hell of a lot more information on the process if they even cared, but they’re not.
Christ, apologists like you are the worst. Gtfo my post when I know the truth of this matter as does every other console player who’s seen much larger patches get pushed through in less than a week.

The whole point of this forum was not to make a difference between PC and console players.

They made a difference between PC and console by blatantly favouring PC and constantly shafting consoles. I hope the new update bombs on consoles and they lose a tonne of money.
might make them rethink their bs and lies

    How so, exactly ?
The delay ? It's mostly due to microsoft and sony.
PTB ? Still microsoft and sony.
The bugs ? THey've been tons of bugs and FPS issues on PC too.

    Wrong; wrong, ######### wrong.
sony and Microsoft both went on record as to say that they’re not to blame for the delay to the console update but the devs are.
10 days max certification so it should have released by now yet magical game it’s ‘still in certification’ BHVR are lying
  • I had nearly £40 saved however I decided to extend my Game Pass, buy Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Digital Deluxe and some ESO Plus. I now have £8 left for the chapter and that’s all they’ll be seeing from me once the update drops :)
means shaft us console players we’ll shaft you right back, right where it hurts.
  • I think WGLF is in s good place, it makes sense for the killer version to have a benefit as no-one would give up a perk slot for a flat BP gain, the aura reading isn’t that fantastic anyways.
WGLF acts as a perk that encourages altruism in those bad thatcuse it, it benefits the other survivors as they know you’ll risk hits and saves to help them out.
it doesn’t need any sort of buff as that would beat the purpose of the perk and make survivors even more powerful?

As I’ve said certification should take 10 days in a worst case scenario. That’s the longest time for a patch to be certified, the only way it takes longer is if the platform decides to reject it.
if the patch doesn’t hit st midnight, tonight with the content available on stores at midnight as is usually the case with this game they’re lying through their teeth and either didn’t submit it when they said they did or it’s been rejected.
if it isn’t live tonight and they keep trying to blame Sony and MS I see things going south for them fast, MS and Sony already responded saying it’s not their fault, it’s the developers as they have one day certification which they chose not to use due to an extra upfront cost

There's another explanation, Microsoft and Sony are taking longer due to perhaps an update on their side. As someone who sued to work in high tech and dealt with certification the posts like this are astounding. You so called experts haven't got the slightest idea what is going on or why it might take longer.

Also don't forget that each country has different laws and such that they have to deal with. Think China and the EU or any other countries that have much stricter controls.

I’ve worked in the QA department for companies, patches take 10 days at max, no longer, ever.

Let's hope people will see the curtain call dlc in the store at midnight tonight.

    Fingers crossed.
but it’s BHVR so they’ll have fudged it somewhere.

I find it amusing how DbD has content updates that somehow take longer than the 10 day certification process and these developers fail to deliver on their simultaneous release promise yet a game with a much lower budget and playerbase and a less experienced team aka F13 The Game nailed every single one of its patches in a timely manner and everyone received it at the same time.
in a way BHVR you’re worse devs than F13’s. They didn’t willingly [BAD WORD] their console users and in the process cause huge queue times because console players are fed the [BAD WORD] up.
its taking me ten minutes to find a match atm, you’re arseholes. [BAD WORD] your game, I’m buying ESO Plus with the £30 I saved for the chapter and cells.

Damn I guess Chanelloween is off this year!

NEVER!!! I need people to post about the semi-nice things I’m doing for them all over social media to increase my own follower count.

  • But they fudged consoles over massively by not doing the right thing?
sure appreciate the good they do but let’s not forget they shafted console players by having us wait weeks after PC got to play Clown and Kate?
i don’t appreciate them or their game at all atm.
  • It doesn’t work on business days.
its 10 straight days, and it likely won’t have failed certification as the patch looks solid on PC, a rare pallet glitch but otherwise not enough to cause it to fail.
it needs to come quick either way, I have no current interest in the game as I’m bored of the same ######### constantly now, this chapter will reignite my interest. Until it does come i wont be playing the game

i have a complete and total forum freak-out on standby.  i actually hope they don't because i love a good spaz that i know will be co-signed.

That's the thing they never said when they put it in. If it's after PC then we are only 6 days in so probably end of month start of next

Actually they did in fact say they sent it in, about 3 days BEFORE pc release.

If this is true it’ll either release tonight at midnight or some time tomorrow. Console certification is a 10 max thing and that’s for truly huge content updates. Think The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine that added tonnes of base game updates and a whole new area to the game. This Patch will much smaller than that I assume and surprisingly even that huge chunk of content had a simultaneous console and PC release. We need more companies like CD Projekt Red tbf *shrug*

  • They announced the patch wouldn’t be ready for a week or two on the 8th June, the maximum time for a patch this large to be fully processed and receive certification is supposed to be 10 days, that’s tomorrow, so I’d expect it either sometime today or tomorrow.
if it doesn’t release tomorrow they didn’t send it in for certification when they announced it wouldn’t be a simultaneous release. Which would be a crappy move on their part.
    Love your username, first off.

Secondly, do consoles do weekend patches? Genuine question. I hope you’re right.
Consoles do patches any day, they’re not a strictly twice a week thing like some people think. Random patches hit whenever they’re ready to, any day, anytime, the big giveaway if an update is about to come through is if the trophy or achievement list is updated, if it is you’re getting the patch within the next 24 hours max.
