If I get hooked and no one is on a gen I tap out.
If you want me to try then you better try.
If even one person is on a gen I'll stay because that means someone else is at least trying. But no gens means no game. Not even worth trying if y'all aren't.
The amount of times I look at the survivor hud and there is nothing on it, is infuriating. No gen icons besides my own. It's crazy how many solo players just do literally nothing but walk around the map. I hate survivors. I never get mad at killers because every loss I've ever had as a survivor was due to incompetent teammates.

DISCLAIMER: I play on Xbox so I haven't gotten to play the Alien yet. My opinions are based on what I've seen from Tru3 and Otz streams.
Tru3 and Otz say they think he's strong. And his runner mode looks fun and powerful.
HOWEVER! it also makes me nervous that like Meatball the survivors are going to be able to easily cancel out your power with easily attainable items. Like it's so oppressive with Meatball that he basically doesn't have a power at all. EMPs ruin Meatball so hard thst you are quite literally stronger if you just don't even bother using his power at all. Because his power just wastes his own time.
Maybe some one who played the PTB can tell me if Alien gets oppressed by the items as hard as Meatball does?

Wesker, Pyramid Head, Nurse, Clown, Leatherface

As a killer main who plays a lot of Hag.
(Pyramid Head, Oni, Slinger, Dredge, Nurse, Ghostie, Doc, and Hag)
I say no. Hag is on my opinion the 3rd strongest killer in the game. Right behind Nurse and Blight.
Just like Nurse and Blight she requires practice. But unlike Nurse and Blight you not chase. I know Chess Merchant is a meme, bjt but I'm being serious when I say Hag is big brain and like playing chess. Set your traps and herd the survivors into them. It takes practice and forethought and predictions.

It depends on if there is a skin I like in it.
It's 10 bucks and most skins are 10 bucks alone so if there is a skin in the rift I like I get the rift. It also gives me a goal to reach and motivation to keep playing.
That said this is the first rift I've bought in over a year and a half. It's the first one with a few skins I like. The most recent rifts have been uninspired honestly. This one has some better art in it.
I like the Nic Cage, Meg Thomas, Artist, and Meatball Skins.
Space Bird is a cool little charm too but I never buy things for the charms they are just cool extras

It's not you.
Yesterday every single match I played as killer I got gen rushed and ended the match with 0 kills about 3 to 6 hooks and the match lasted about five minutes.
This event is showing that survivors when they actually do gens cannot lose. The only reason survivors ever lose is because they choose not to do gens.
Most kills happen during the egc and drastically inflated kill rates
BHVR needs to look at how many games have all 4 survivors alive when the fifth gen is popped. Because it's most games.
Survivors hate hearing the truth. Killer is not op. Your team just didn't do gens. Survivors get mad at the killer but it's their teammates not doing gens they need to be mad it.
But this even proves ALL the power is with survivors when they actually do their objective.
-
Game is survivor sided. Always has been. Always will be. Because I here are 4 survivors for every 1 killer the money is in the survivor side.

"Who is actually playing Singularity?"
people who like him?
Me. I like the design of the character and the lore and the voice.
But I hate his gameplay. Still I just play him with no power at all just because he's cool.
But Yeah I hope BHVR does something so that actually using his power is possible.

This last change to BNP was not a nerf though.
This last change to BNP is actually a buff.
BNP now gives permanent unregressible progress.

I do but only because we don't have Jason yet

Just curious because I haven't seen someone say that Billy feels nice to play.
Do you play flick / curve Billy or are you more of a casual enjoyer of his kit without going too much into the depths? No shame in either of them but as you said it is a rather unpopular opinion. So I would like to hear it.
Billy was my favorite. Until they nerfed him.
I played all of the variations of Billy, curve, quiet, insta saw...
I liked em all. The only one that needed to go was insta saw.
I still play Billy and he can still be fun. But he can't hold a candle to the fun of old Billy. Billy did not need the nerf.I just wish they'd take off overheat.

Powerful against dumb survivors who don't do tapes
Average against survivors smart enough to use tapes.
That the entire dichotomy in play. The survivors who think she is OP just aren't doing tapes. Literally tapes are deciding factor in how strong or weak she is. Which is actually very thematic for the character and I hope it stays like that this as it makes sense for her.
-
I hate it.
Singularity spends most of the game with no power. Like it's a detriment to you to even waste time setting out pods. Because that's literally all it does is waste your time as you will not get any use out of them.
I play him as just a straight vanilla killer I literally never even use his power because of it being a waste. You have more success just playing him powerless.

Since they gutted Billy's addons I heard a lot of people say that he fells really horrible to play as, I tried him out and it wasn't that bad!, I got some cross maps with the chainsaw and traversing the map was a blast. The addons are very limited and usually they are more of a downgrade
(The iris don't have downgrades but hey are very substantial) I wish they fixed the addon problem but other than that I didn't find the overheat that big of a problem
Did you play classic Hillbilly? If you did the I don't understand how you can think current Billy feels good
However if you never played old Billy then it makes perfect sense why you think current Billy feels good.

nah perk is fine. Maps are the problem
Maps are bad. But WoO still even on a good map will give you your exact safest path with zero knowledge

I'm doing the clown kill all 4 survivors and I simply can't with the gen rush to hell and back and broken perk combos
I tried slugging builds
I tried gen dense
i tried exposed builds
Here is how I did it.
HEX: Third Seal
HEX: Play Thing
Jolt
Sourge Hook Pain Resonance
Pinky Finger add on with Green add on for hindered bottle.
Midwich offering.
Midwich is a guaranteed 4k for most killers especially if you do third seal and plaything together.
Third seal makes it so they can't see their plaything totem.
You will steam roll em.

I saw someone was complaining about WoO ... Anything is useful will be complained i think.
WoO is actually too strong in it's current for though. It plays part of the game for you. Pathing is crucial as a survivor and WoO literally does your pathing for you now.
It needs to go back to having a cool down honestly. Removing the cool down made it too good. It was good before the buff. People just slept on it. After the buff people got WoO pilled.
-
Problematic? No.
Is it one of the top 4 feel bad perks? Yeah.
It feels heartbreaking and cruel to be chasing a survivor and have the last gen pop adrenaline right in your face mid chase.
But it's not problematic just because of how it feels to have it popped in your grill. In fact it's balanced because while it is OP it has a massive drawback in that you have to reach the endgame to even get it. If you don't reach the endgame it's a wasted slot. If you aren't injured or being chased or on hook at endgame it's still a wasted slot.
So even as a player who thinks killers have it pretty rough right now. I don't have a problem with adrenaline.
It's like Devour Hope. OP sure, but they both have massive risk of doing nothing. Makes em balanced

Yeah I am hoping for some kind of middle-man, the amount of times I get smacked over windows when I am on the other side running is insane.
This has been the most fluid looping has felt since the old survivor animations were in the game and I am gonna miss it.
But you are not actually on the otherside running. On the killers screen you were clearly and cleanly hit. This is the part survivors are not grasping it's called rollback.
Killers get roll back at pallets all the time. Where on the survivor screen the survivor clearly cleanly git the stun but on killers screen they weren't close enough to get stunned.
Both sides have a rollback that favors them.
Window rollback favors killer, pallet rollback favors survivor.
Everyone needs to just deal with it.

What is the point of this thread besides more Us vs Them?
Do you only play nice to get validation from others? Its funny how playing nice is only a problem when the survivors do something you dislike.
I play nice all the time on killer and get nothing but kind survivors, does that make my experience universal? Of course not, so there's zero point in acting like every survivor player does the same thing.
Moreover you shouldn't be nice just to please other people, you should be nice because it pleases yourself, and further than that you should continue to be nice even if the other side doesn't appreciate it occasionally because there will always be a lot of people that do and being nice is... a good thing to do?
The point is hoping that other players see this and stop the game endgame toxicity when they get a killer that plays clean and fair.
Nothing to do with us vs them
Judging by your reaction though I'm assuming you are the same player that complains about the tunneling and camping then when you get a killer that doesn't camp or tunnel you teabag at the he gate and gg ez them in chat after.
-
I'm not shocked.
The EMPs are so strong that they completely negate Meatball's power and they are too easy to get with no downside.
There has to be a downside to carrying and emp with you or they need to be less of them.
I love Meatball but he has no power because survivors take it away too easy.
-
Yes. Tiles are too strong at the moment.

Because sometimes it's pretty fun.

Don't count on it, Haddie doesn't have one; and neither does Kate. It's a mystery why Meg has it but not Kate since they're part of the same cosmetic set
Yea Nea doesn't either.
It's just Artist and Meg so far.
Wonder if Wraith, Nic, Gabe, and Singularity do...
I wonder why all the outfits from this country collection don't have that new lobby music.
Makes me wonder if it's actually the Alien lobby music and if this is a big where Meg got mixed up with the themes for Ripley and the Xeno

@Sackboy123 said:
I noticed this too, Just unlocked the Artist's skin in the rift too. She has the same theme in the lobby as Meg's
It's really neat. I hope BHVR does this more.
Since Artist also has it. That means Wraith probably will too. Haven't reached his full set yet.
But I'm going to assume all of these new rift outfits have a special lobby theme. It's really cool. It's also a banging theme. Probably my favorite lobby music tbh.

Yes, vaults are the number one spot.
But it does seem like my lunges are whiffing more too. But yeah it's mostly at vaults.
