Sorry to say it, but it looks like you just exposed yourself as being one of those players that got hard carried by Old Ruin.
There is such a thing as pressure. It really isn't hard to do. I only see one type of survivor play as genrushing, when they don't do anything but gens, and then farm their points when the doors are pretty much open. As killer, if you aren't pressuring multiple people, then what do you expect the survivor's who have no pressure on them to do?
That's not really gen rushing fyi. I've had games where the killer literally just chased 2 people (poorly). So yes, I'll be a gen duty.
If you see 4 survivors running prove thyself, all bringing commodius toolboxes with spool nd instructions....yes, you're being gen rushed. Outside of that, just doing the objective

All of those ideas are...good, and none of them are game breaking or anything like that. Just some QoL improvements. I like
-
Some streamers try to throw out this idea as well. The natural balance would be to re-buff self care. Also, 4% slow down doesn't prevent tunneling nor does tunneling make winning easier.
With a team of somewhat competent survivors, 2 (minimum) will escape a killer who tunnels. That's an EZ match. "Hold M1, get out of trial."
-
The issue with LF isn't his terror radius. You've increased #chainsaw swings dramatically. Too many terms "Chilling Chainsaw, Chainsaw Sweep, Chainsaw Tantrum"
-
"...and the only form of counterplay survivors have against him is to run to the opposite side of the map and remove ourselves from the dream world...."
I mostly stopped reading after this. Inexperienced survivors care about being in the dream world or not. A lot of survivors just "pallet loop" or camp pallets. The same players who do this will struggle vs. Fake Pallet Freddy, which should be "Oh, it's fake pallet freddy. Looks like we're all getting out of this one."

I do think there's a problem with Huntress at base that I discuss with Onyx_Blue just above this (which, if you have ideas, I'm All Ears), but I hadn't thought about changing up her addons. Only Iridescent Head comes to mind as a problem, but are there any others that tend to be overly problematic?
Iridescent head is more of a problem for solo queue, I'll give you that. Granted it gets you first downs more easily, but it's mainly an issue because people bother to heal. Iri Huntress has 3 hatchets, max. Can more easily turn her into an M1 huntress and now she's down 2 hatchets from base (which is why you don't see Ralph, Umbra, etc running Iri)

Check out Ralph's stream. Even he, the best huntress killer in the game, doesn't 3-4k every match.
Although, I do agree that *cough* "hit boxes" absolutely need to change. It's lag, apparently, that's giving hatchets ridiculous hits FAR around corners and seemingly through walls or objects.
The best fix is for BHVR to purchase many more and faster servers. WE NEED THAT 5 PING BB <3
Ralph doesn't 3-4k every match because of his play style, not because he can't throw hatchets. He's probably the best (top 5 easily) hatchet thrower. Hatchet thrower doesn't necessarily = "best huntress killer." I've never seen Ralph kick a gen. I've seen Ralph M1 twice. Ralph will commit to a chase. His perk load out is about finding you and not about gen pressure, etc. He doesn't see survivors, he sees their hitbox.
Now if you saw Ralph run Thrilling tremors, corrupt, pop and discordance - he would probably 4k nearly every game (down a survivor, know exactly which gen to go to for a pop kick; discordance tells you where at least 2 survivors are (and Ralph would easily get 2+ hits), etc. I don't think you would ever see him play like that, because I think he finds that boring af.

Too bad it turns out that everyone likes overpowered perks that make you invincible. Can`t really blame people for that, but there should be really something to limit the usage of such perks
What perks are exactly "overpowered" that don't have counter play to them?

Survivors can only use the Jigsaw box furthest from them. Should the pig stay around the box, trying to camp it, which would be hard anyways because it's hard to tell which box is the furthest, another box will become available. If the box is searched, and it doesn't have the key, another box will light up.
This will make Rng less hurtful towards the pig. It will also make Rbts more threatening.
I also think that the 1st box should only have a ~%10 of having the key.
Thoughts? I feel like this would be a really positive change for her.
Think of her traps as portion rationing. You wouldn't want to use up all of your rationing with 5 gens up still, right? It's meant to buy time, which helps, since she's an M1 killer. I usually like to do 1-2-1 with my traps, and I've never needed add ons for piggy

Google "what does flashing someone mean" and you will.
Yeah, i'm just not 11 years old nor do boobies, butts or genitalia make me giggle?
-
How about: Keys and their useless add ons, and all Moris get thrown into the trash bin. Then - hit delete.
Or: survivors alerted in pre-game lobby when killer has equipped a mori. Survivors in turn bring keys. Hatch spawns at start of the match.
There are an endless number of ways keys/moris could be better in this game (i.e., deincentivized)
-
Going with this not being a joke...the only small issue with Mad Grit is the distance covered. Because when you swing, you swing at 115% speed. So, you gain more distance. It'd be the equivalent of a survivor tbagging and suddenly moving at 107%.
-
Is gen tapping really that problematic? You can tap and risk a hit. As killer, you can you know, hit the person.

Sorry but...
So if you stand near the hook you will be flashed until you run away from it.
Is a very VERY poor choice of words.
i dont get it?

You can keep saying its baiting, doesn't make it true.
As deadeye stated...I'm simply pointing out and applying logic that was introduced for the Ruin nerf. Sure, you can say DS, DH, BT, etc are passive. All perks, by definition, are passive. That's why, they're called perks. Granting an ability for simply selecting it. If whatever perk is used 80%+, or "too passive" (seems arbitrary to me) then, by BHVRs logic, it must be nerfed, correct?
Intent of a post is always interesting, isn't it? Perhaps you've missed my point

New players shouldn't even have access to corrupt intervention because it comes from the plague who is a DLC character. You said it yourself, "New players don't study every characters perks right off the top of the bat." so new killers wont have it equiped. It shouldn't and normally isn't a problem for new survior players. Your no skill arguement, as ABannedCat pointed out, is hypocritical compared to Decisive Strike and other perks they pointed out.
Nice try with the bait though.
Again, no baiting. You can keep saying it, doesn't make it true or correct. With that logic that was introduced, EVERY perk would be passive, right? Isn't that the nature of perks? Balanced landing is just falling from a height. DS is just hitting a skill check. BT is just unhooking someone, etc.
As deadeye suggested, I am simplying applying the logic that was introduced with the Ruin change. If a perk is "too passive" or "used too much" then it must be nerfed. My thread was simply referring to the only early game slow down perk that killers have at this point. You can apply said logic to survivor perks but it would have to meet BHVRs threshold for nerfing perks, yes?
-
It doesn't mean their internet is bad. The fact this happens just shows there's really no point to dedicated servers, outside of giving everyone the perception that their ping matters anymore

Low quality bait.
No bait. Simply applying the logic behind the ruin change.
Thread was also not "ill thought out." Providing the explanation the devs gave behind the ruin change is, repetitive, Onyx. Corrupt does impact newer players. Because many killers pair it with discordance. New players don't study every characters perks right off the top of the bat. Corrupt is too passive - killer gets 3 gens blocked for doing nothing, where's the skill in that?
