nice solution, lets put it in the queue of BHVR things to do: this should be done around by the year 2054

EVERYONE who doesnt see a problem is just using it himself/herself and is to afraid to loosing an advantage.

Considering this is the EXACT same story killers would use for Camping, Tunneling, and even Slugging. I don't think there's room to complain much about a resolution change. Those three give the killer an advantage to win, doesn't it and it's well enrooted into the killers to do so when they think they might not be able to secure a kill fast enough without those 'tactics'.

I don't want to sound like those people who say 'A Tic for Tac' but the point is, why is it a problem when the survivors get an advantage, especially those who suffer from soloQ compared to SWF?

Be warned, In no way shape or form am I trying to condone or defend people using Stretched Res but I genuinely don't see the problem with it considering it doesn't really change the gameplay, you still have the ability to use your power, mind game and even get to them Via bloodlust. Most it allows them to do is see past Mind-games and over loops. It's not a game-breaking hack or cheat and people who admit they're using stretched res to gain that advantage should be fine since they're owning up to the fact they're doing so.

We found it boys, THE DBD forum user. "We can't nerf keys because something else is in the game"

Edit: Yes, while keys do help prevent things like noed, bloodwarden, etc. the hatch spawning at 5 gens only or 1 person remaining would still counter those things. The fact that you're saying killer mains are entitled for wanting keys to be nerfed after they've been a known problem in the community for years now shows that you not only have no clue what you're talking about, you're the entitled one.

I never called anyone entitled, i said threads like this give me 'Entilted' Killer Vibes. All about context and clearly, you didn't pay attention since i agreed with the fact KEYS are VERY VERY unfair to killers who have to watch a potential Win get robbed from them when Survivors escape via Hatch.

However, I countered it with a literal fact and I'm sure literally every killer knows this but name the number of times you shut the hatch compared to the number of people who escaped VIA hatch; I ASSURE YOU, the ratio between one and another will be VASTLY different.

I think it's perfectly fair that Killer gets to close hatch but I also think that Keys are fair game depending on the circumstances given. I hate survivors who escape a match VIA Key when they could just escape through exit gate whether the killer has Noed or Blood. ( No way out is a different story.) Or even Survivors who escape while theirs still gens to do, unless there's another survivor left, it's a gen 3/2/1; It varies but you get the gist.

Try not to turn the tables back on people without all the facts or understanding the context given, doesn't look good on you.

This is getting stupid.. Devs really don't care about this broken thing in this game?

People are still going on about this? I'm not surprised.

Despite the key's current use, the point of the key is for second chances especially since 90% of the time the killer will almost always get to the hatch and close it unless an offering is brought to shift its location along with said survivor just blendetting most of the game before ditching their teammates. Let's be real now, I Don't doubt that this situation hasn't already happened.

I agree with players escaping through the hatch while there are still gens to do is unfair but hypothetically, it'd avoid Certain perks which could easily turn the game around for the killer or earn them that 4K. I.E: Noed, Blood Warden, No way out. (Since running all three perks would make it impossible to escape and would mostly rely on the killer playing either like complete garbage or killing all survivors before it procs, so, i mean, there's that.)

Let's also be real with the fact that most games in DBD don't really last for all gens to get completed for the hatch to spawn and if that was the case, again, the killer would look for it to ensure no escape since Exit-gates have a REALLY bad habit of spawning within less then 80 meters of each other, meaning the killer wouldn't have to look very hard for the survivor in question.

This just gives me 'Entilted' Killer vibes since so many people are making complaints about Keys because they missed out on a 4K. Honestly, if that's all the fuss is about, (Which i'm CONVINCED, it is.) i doubt the devs would think twice about changing it.

I used to think this map was ok because I’ve played RE and it lets me know the map so it’s not as bad for me but overall the map is a complete disaster. It’s too big and confusing for people that haven’t played RE, pallets are either completely useless or godly, totem spawns are horrible for survivors, and how can anyone find Pig’s jigsaw boxes in this place?

Remove or rework it because it’s clearly not made for DBD. If they can’t do that because of licensing issues, you shouldn’t have added it in the first place because y’all have learned what makes a map bad in the past BHVR. Do y’all care about game health at all?

Finally, the realization has come back. It's just not as fun for Survivors nor Killers at all. I'd rather be sent to lery than RPD.

    Title

I have started reading Danny trejos autobiography...highly recommended.

Decided to queue up deathslinger (maybe 20 games I have played him total🤔)...and got up to page 30 of the book before I finally got a match.

Played the game and got stomped by iridescent grades 😴this is akin to going to a restuarant paying for your food waiting and then get kicked in the shin thanks for choosing bhvr🤑

I end up Scrolling and laughing at TikTok for a good minute and if I have anything else i need to do or even eat food, i go do it and come back. I usually end up waiting 2 - 5 minutes and if it's really late or DBD is having it's daily aneurysm, 10 minutes.

I didnt play the PTB and I just started playing this against him this weekend.

So, if the chains are active and u NEED to open the box to make them disappear, u basically cant open the box because chains will just stop u from it? or can u run and solve the box while avoiding them?

If you go for the box and try to solve it, you wont get attacked by the chains if you do it immediately; however, if you move from where the box spawns or go anywhere, A. The Cenobite can see you B. You'll get attacked by chains.

Your best option is to solve the box and hope Ceno doesn't teleport to you

  • I'd agree with most of this if i wasn't getting the vibe. ' I deserve that 4K ' vibe. Giving very 'Entitled Killer' Vibes. 90% of the time, you get that 4k because you're either really good or you were paired up with dookie butter survivors and it's almost always the first option. Now that isn't to say I bring keys to every match, I rarely bring them, but I See keys as like a second chance to escape, especially the offering of where the hatch would be.

Since I'm a survivor main, I can't really speak for the frustration it gives killers when they watch someone escape before their eyes by the power of a key or watching more than one survivor leave Via Key but I know it's GOD annoying since it also screws over the clueless teammate who gets left behind and is either mori'd or sacrificed.

In the Gen 3 Situation, that was pretty justified to me considering they got Gen 3'd whether it was intentionally or unintentionally and they did what they had to do; did you expect them to just let you kill them or do gens in a near-impossible situation? Not to mention, oftentimes the killer finds hatch and that's usually a death signal to survivor(s) since Exit gates have a bad habit of spawning near each other which either leads to survivor(s) dying on hook and an easy 4K for said Killer. The Key is mostly FOR second chances but if a situation comes up that forces all survivors to escape Via Key then gg, complaining about it wouldn't get you very far considering perks like BT, DS and Dead hard kinda exist; that should be more frustrating to deal with then watching Survivors escape Via Key.

FYI: The only time I've ever used a key in such a manner was when I had to play an evasive David because my teammates were idiots and in Post-game Chat, i got the killer and survivors salty saying: Should've taken chase and done gens. Mind you, I was doing gens but then I spent another half of the game saving my teammates off-hook since they literally sucked at looping. (They got down in less than 30 seconds.) Not my fault you were incompetent and forced me to play evasive for the other half of the game.

  • @timetotalkabout said:

The whole perk is a 40 seconds second chance perk that the survivors can use endlessly, the killer outplayed you? HA ######### you I press E and you got outplayed, omg you will catch me! don't mind me pressing E and reach the pallet/window I shouldn't have reached extending the chase for X/Y seconds, oh you trapped the doorway, HA ######### you i'll run over it, you plan to shock the ground on my feet to stop me from using the pallet? ha ######### you i'll totally ignore your power and drop it anyway, i'll run back into you and dash at your body but your weapon dissapeared during it, I'll 99% my healing and loop you until I use dead hard to reach a pallet and heal while you break it making it a 3 health state chase.

This perk is beyond broken and OP in every single way when using at the right places, yes it's totally useless when used in the open, the killer just have to wait it out, but in loops, this perk is simply overpowered, it should either be nerfed hardcore like it should or be removed/changed, it's simply too strong.

And every high rank survivors who are the most skilless ones use this perk because they are so bad they can't live without a second chance perk, talk about bieng insecure about their skills, gotta use a jailfree card if they ######### up.

If you're struggling with dead hard, you're struggling with almost every exhaustion perk that's not natural balance, sprint burst, lithe and probably smash hit too. Dead hards been a part of the game for a hot minute and I'll never understand why Killers complain about it when you can Bait it out or even use other killers that can just snipe you; I.E: Huntress, Pyramid head, Deathslinger, (Recently) Cenobite, Twins, Plague, Nemesis, Nurse, Doctor, Hag (With correct Trap placement.) The only killers that suffer are Primary M1 Killers like Freddy, Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Myers, and I'm pretty sure the spirit.

It's Kinda MEANT to be a Second chance perk if played right and that would be like me complaining about killers using infectious fright or some other perk MEANT to find/seek out the location of other survivors; wouldn't make sense cause it's doing it's job. Not to mention that if you're suffering at loops- B r e a k C h a s e. People seem to forget that they shouldn't be hellbent on getting one survivor alone the entire match which is what causes EVERYONE to De-pip. The moment you get pissed off at the game is the moment you'll start playing badly, killer or survivor.

Am I the only one getting bored of corrupt, ruin & undying ?

ever single game it’s the same stuff ZzzzZzzz which YouTube or streamer put this out and now everyone and there nan is running it

i would like to say thank you you’ve just made the game even more of a snore fest

Welcome to DBD where streamers have power to change meta because every person is about as braindead as a graveyard. I tend not to a full set of meta-perks besides 1 like Dead-hard or Spine chill because those are a must. Other than that, I rely on hard loops and reverse mind-gaming the killer.

  • @JanelliBee17 said:

I tend to hover between ranks 4-6 and I feel what holds me back is my inability to run a killer for any more than 30 seconds at most. I have watched one friend who is really good at, and have only gone from not being able to loop, to be able to loop once or twice for those 30ish seconds. Also, were you just immediately a godly looper, or did it take you time, and if so how long? My best loops are usually the Demogorgons! Note: I refuse to use dead hard after listening to everyone complain about how broken the perk is. All feedback is appreciated.

    @Brokenbones said:

It's not all about looping, it's about wasting as much time as possible and being as effective at possible at occupying the killers time.

There's a few rules of thumb I have:

    1. Find out which killer it is as soon as possible and adapt accordingly. Some killers you need to pre-drop pallets in order to effectively counter them. Oni is the main one to think of here, if you go against an Oni - do not ever greed pallets. Delay his power as much as possible. Most killers have their own things to look out for.
    2. Understand each killer's power and its limitations. This one takes practice and game sense, so it'll come naturally as you play. The more you play, the more you'll mentally be able to read how the chase is going and what the killer could do. Playing killer also helps this as by playing killer you learn what each killer is physically incapable of doing
    3. Split up from your teammates. You might be thinking "what does this have to do with looping?", allow me to explain: The killer benefits from being able to pressure multiple survivors at once and so if you're getting chased and you run the killer over to where your teammates are, that is a net positive for the killer even if they don't get a hit right away. If everyone's split up, the killer will struggle to pressure the whole team even if someone's hooked. Contrary wise, make a mental note of the closest structure to the gen you're on or run windows of oppertunity.
    4. If you're all out of options, don't give up - just try to stall as long as you can. Sometimes all the pallets are gone, or you're in a deadzone while injured. These things happen, you need to try and waste as much time as possible. Run to a corner, jump in a locker to waste just that little bit extra of the killers time.
    5. And finally - take the aggro from teammates who have been hooked already whenever you can. Killers win by killing one person as soon as possible, as fast as possible. Some will tunnel, others will prioritise hooked survivors first. Either way, if you haven't been hooked a single time yet and you have teammates who have; try to take the aggro, get in the killer's face or take hits for your teammates that are being chased. Just be careful not to get slugged in the process, sometimes if the killer is hardcore tunnelling or camping the right move is to pressure gens non-stop.

Getting good at looping takes experience, a lot of experience and time.

Here are my suggestions. Firstly? Learn the maps and pay attention to every pallet every game, it'll greatly help you to know what to expect once you subconsciously memorize Pallet locations. Trust me, it might seem like a lot of work to pull off but it's not that hard in the end. It might take more than a couple of days though, a week at best. For me, though it took three days. Your mind will commit the Pallet locations to muscle memory and pull it out from deep within your subconscious once you recognize the map your playing on. Some Maps have deadzones. You do NOT want to be on the end of those zones considering it's a death trap if you're already injured and you'll likely be too far to make it to the other loop.

Second: Memorize your Killers and learn to counter them. Unlike the last task, this one is a little easier to do since you have access to all killers and their powers. Read up on the killers power and visualize yourself in how YOU would counter them. Universally known is the Hag, Most people know that to counter the hag all you need to do is crouch or use a flashlight to get of her traps; though Crouching is more convenient if you want to go for flashlight saves.

Most notably though is game sense: When you get into the game, the first 3 things should ALWAYS be on your mind. Which killer you're facing off against, Where Generator locations are and for Hex totems. At this point, Pallet locations and tiles should be second nature to you so that your body will move on sheer muscle memory hence why it shouldn't be a priority unless you spawn near the killer.

2a: Listen for the terror radius music, it's a dead-giveaway on WHICH killer you're facing. Many Killers use the same terror radius music certain ones don't such as Huntress, Nemesis, Trickster, Myers, Billy, Doctor, Pyramid Head, Demogorgon, Blight, Twins, Oni and Slinger. Keep in mind on killers that have more power over loops such as Huntress, Nemesis, Trickster and Pyramid head. Do NOT let them get too close to you and don't greed pallets if you feel like you wont be able to hold said position; better to take a hit then to waste a pallet because you made attempt that was bound to fail.

    • Billy, Slinger, and Bubba are Killers you DO NOT want to greed pallets that have long hallways or extend long enough that you can't spin them. Trust me, it's a mistake. You don't want that. Dont get cut down by a bubba near the basement, it's death.
    • Trapper and Hag. Watch out for their traps. Trappers tend to place their traps at Vaults and pallets to negate loops. PAY ATTENTION TO THE FLOOR AND NEVER RUN STRAIGHT AT A VAULT; stay weary of where they place their traps and commit it to memory, it could save you or your teammates life. The Hag on the other hand isn't AS lethal as the trapper but in the right circumstance, she's devastating. Her traps consist more of placing down little triangles that auto-trigger if you get too close. Now, this wouldn't be a problem if your camera's FOV/POV switched to the fake hag, not to mention she has the ability to teleport to the fake hag and make it real; easily landing hit's on survivors if they're complacent. The easiest way to counter this is to crouch.
    • Nurse: Pray to god you're not facing off against a sweat nurse.......

These are merely examples of what you could do to counter said killers, the rest i think it's better if you learn on your own. As i said, it takes experience. You wont learn much by us telling you but it will help to know.

    • Premonition: If you don't have access to spine chill, it's best if you run this as it tells you if the killer is nearby in a certain area and 9 times of 10, the killer is coming in your direction. This will SAVE. YOUR. LIFE. Especially against stealth killers who would love to give a heart attack.
    • Spine Chill: if you have access to this, run it. With your subconscious memory about where you are and in the rest of the map, it'll very simple to locate the killer if not predict where they'll come from. + the buffs it gives is insane.
    • Kindred: This is worrth your time if you run solo queue. The main gist is, when you're hooked, everyone can see everyone's aura and the killers within a 16 Meter Radius. When you're NOT hooked but your teammate is, YOU can see everyone's aura and the killers within a 16 Meter radius. Easily locating injured survivors and going for hook saves when necessary. It's a buffed Empathy if you ask me.
    • Dead Hard/Lithe/Sprint Burst: Exhaustion perks can and will save your life. Sprint burst is the easiest to use if you need to gain distance FAST but if you like to loop around killers, Lithe is for you. When you vault a window or a pallet, you'll move VERY fast and create distance for the next tile or safe loop. Dead Hard, however, is more for Veteran who know just about everything, this can be used to dodge a hit or get to the next tile just in case you get mind-gamed by the killer and need to save yourself from taking a hit.

This is all i got for now but i hope it helped. Sorry for the wall of text.

When I see a zombie just stuck in place I don't feel encouraged to play nemesis at all

It's like one part of my power is useless

Probably cause it is. Being honest here, the zombie's are nothing more than a joke and that's just brutal honesty comin' from me. Any nemesis I play against, I mostly see them trying to herd us towards Zombie's if not outright chasing us because the zombie addition is pretty useless; comparing them to the trapper's BT's, it's worse since they just roam around the map and do nothing.

I don't get WHY nemesis makes Zombie's if it's totally useless from beginning to end. To be honest, i wish they'd fix that or remove the function as a whole...

David: If there's a daddy Myers, There's Daddy David.

Claudette: Gotta love a fellow blendette, but one who actually does tasks.

Myers: Masked Monster. Tall Killer. Knife-Wielding Badvss. Yeah, i think this takes the cake. Daddy Myers for the win (If only i used him more often.)

Trapper: My first killer main and another classified reason.
