A repetitive game that should feel monotonous but the variety of killers, perks, and consistent updates with intervallic DLC releases stop it from being so. I should have uninstalled a year ago but it's too damn fun!

If you want to get rid of keys, get rid of moris as well. If keys are a cheap, easy escape then you have to admit that moris are cheap, easy kills (devour hope being the exception). I think that the EGC is exposing a lot of mediocre killers. You are not entitled to a 4k.

The game isn't meant for average 4ks. People need to chill. Survivor players are people too and they need a decent shot at surviving to encourage playing.
Exactly. I hate this mentality that killers are entitled to 4Ks. I think that the EGC is exposing a lot of mediocre killers and they're salty af about it.

Good points made. Essentially, video games are supposed to be fun but no one video game is fun for everyone, especially when you lose against another player. I don't think that NOED or any hex perks need to be nerfed, they can be taken away from the killer. Just cleanse the totems and you'll be fine. I can maybe see a NOED nerf in the EGC but I don't think that it's a perk you should have to "earn" if you can have it taken away so easily.
Now for the Spirit, my goodness does she need to be nerfed. If not her then maybe her prayer beads add-on. I think it should be like Iridescent Button for Legion. Instead of hearing no vapor sound during phasing, the sound covers the entire map; making distance and direction impossible to discern. And if they're not going to nerf the add-on then at least make it ultra rare!

Is anything being done to nerf SWF? I feel that chat should be disabled during play or implented into the game so the killer can hear it within a certain range

"I play Freddy a lot but I want his snares nerfed"
Hahahaha nice one. I might have misrepresented myself when I said, "I play Freddy a lot and I still support his snares being nerfed."
I should have said, "I wreck s**t day and night as Freddy, even in the red ranks. I know I'm not *that* good at this game. Give these survivors a chance, nerf the snares."
And being in the red ranks doesn't qualify anything. If you play long and mediocre enough, you can get there.

Winning is fun for me. Is my fun not important because it differs from your definition?
Certainly not. But if your expectations are to have fun 100% of the time by winning 100% of the time then you are on a fool's errand. If you expect to win 100% of the time at *anything*....good luck

It's all theoretical, and doesn't matter. Did you have fun? Congrats, you win.
If you can't have fun with out escaping or getting your 4k (your idea of winning) then I wish you the best enjoying this game long term.
I don't care about pips, I want at least 2-3k, but realistically nothing more, because the higher rank I go the more toxic survivors I find the game and the less fun I have. At a certain point it doesn't matter if I'm piping or killing, because it just want a good experience.
Thank you! It's a game. The goal is to have fun and be entertained. I have probably a 55/45 escape/die ratio but I enjoy the game about 95% of the time. (Nobody can avoid ALL of the toxicity)

You win some, you lose some. Sometimes it's fair, but often it's not.

I feel like to most, not all, the advantage of SWF is the DbD equivalent to white privilege. The more you benefit from it, the more you deny its existence. There are some who are aware enough of the privilege and don't abuse it, but not many. And just like white privilege, when it comes to SWF, the people in charge need to do something to balance it out and make it a level playing field for all.
(BTW, I am saying this as a straight, white, American man. Not trying to race bait, just a comparison I couldn't help but notice.)

I think that a simple nerf to moris will suffice. Instead of ebony & ivory being activated after hooking someone once, it's activated after hooking EVERYONE once or hooking an individual twice.
-
I would be more on board with a "bad player lobby" that GTA V Online had enabled before. If you DC/rage quit consistently enough, you are placed into a pool of other "toxic" players and those are the only ones you can match with for a certain period of time. Maybe enough tastes of their own medicine will teach them to play the game as it was intended. But the devs definitely need to figure out some way to impose harsher discipline for people who consistently sabotage the game

That would actually create further frustration. Survivors would get tirelessly confused as to why certain evasion tactics work for some killers basic attack, and why it isn’t working on other killers. There’s quite a lot of killers now. Do you really want to have to learn a new evasion technique for each individual killers basic attack and basic lunge ON TOP of how to counter their power/ability?!?!
My thoughts exactly. Nobody would play as Hag or Pig if attack cones were relative to size. Most likely a latency issue. Check your ping next time it happens.

Survivor perk : Tunnel Vision
If the killer engages you in a chase within 40/50/60 seconds of being unhooked, the killer's field of view is reduced by 4/5/6 degrees for every 5 seconds of the chase.
Killer Perk: Tea Time
Whenever a survivor performs a quick crouch action in your terror radius, they receive a 5% movement speed penalty for every quick crouch action until they leave your terror radius.
-
I don't think that I have exhibited any "toxic" behavior as a killer since I got a grasp on the game (admittedly campy when I first started playing), but I do find myself being "friendlier" as time goes by. I try not to tunnel (unless you teabag, then you're just asking for it), I stopped running ruin on all of my killers (until the red ranks), and every once in a while I let the last survivor escape. But if I get owned in round A, I show no mercy in round B.

I think that the biggest problem with SWF on PS4 is the party chat. ( I am a killer main but I do squad up with some buddies on SWF from time to time.) They can communicate with each other clear across the map and after they die. If there was a way to limit the chat to a proximity and disable dead survivors from communicating with live ones, that would be better. Chat settings similar to the inferior ripoff that is Friday the 13th. I hate to reference that game on this forum but they did get some things right.
