Talking to a buddy about the ptb and we couldn't stop comparing it to a JJ Abrams movie lol -An excessive amount of hype leading in -The clues of the mystery box going from compelling to obvious af -The reveal of the mystery being a disappointment -Only got 1/3 of what I expected to get Just your classic sh*t post but I had to share it with the community0 comments 31 views last activity

We all were brand new to this game at one point and between the gameplay mechanics, perk builds and killer specific looping strats; we've all had our noob moments. What's the one that makes you laugh the hardest in hindsight? I'll share mine. It took me about 5 matches to figure out why I couldn't dead hard when also running sprint burst ๐๐คฃ๐24 comments 141 views last activity

At least that's what I assume from the games I've had tonight. 6 matches and 4 pink moris. Happy gaming out there!0 comments 51 views last activity

As I was playing some killer last night, I had the random thought of "what if survivors had a perk that blinded me from seeing a gen aura?" Not sure how it would work or for how long but given that there are killer perks and add-ons that cause survivors to not see auras, I think that a generator blindness perk might be a fun change. Thoughts? Structure ideas? Suggestions?2 comments 341 views last activity

So for those of you aren't aware, you can attach a message to a friend request on PlayStation Network. Usually, this mechanic is used to let the person know who you are IRL when you send the request. In DbD, some PS4 use this mechanic to attach some smack talk to the friend request post game. I know that it's easy to hang out in the lobby on PC and throw some salt around post game but PS4 player13 comments 181 views last activity

Just curious as to who the community likes to watch and why. I'll start it off. My favorite DbD content creator is HybridPanda because he prioritizes fun over competition. His approach to playing killer is not to get a 4k every round but to ensure that he doesn't ruin anyone else's experience with his gameplay. We all love playing PvP games because there's a different feeling beating the CPU vs21 comments 271 views last activity

Just curious as to individual reasons of the community. I've logged about 1.2k hours but in the last month I have "gone on a diet" with the game so to speak and I find myself feeling the urge to play lesser by the day. I still enjoy the game and don't have any plans to quit it but I'm content with the limited gameplay. Here's my personal answer: I have my complaints about the game but I keep pla2 comments 31 views last activity

Hey guys. I think we'll see another spike in users once this new chapter is released. So what are your top three tips for new players? Mine are as follows: 1. Play both sides of the ball. Playing killer makes you a better survivor and vice versa. A healthy dose of balance will give you an unbiased perspective of the game. 2. Learn map layouts. On almost every map there is a strong loop to use a11 comments 232 views last activity

Even though there is no shortage of topics and elements for people to disagree on in this game, I think the one thing we can mostly agree on is that the dedicated servers leave a lot to be desired. Huntress hatchets, exhaustion perks, lunge hits, and so on, we've all been shortchanged by these servers at one point. While the DC penalty is a plus when correctly executed, the dedicated servers hav5 comments 101 views last activity

As a survivor main who dabbles in killer play, I find it hilarious when people slug to avoid the DS. When I play killer, one, I try not to tunnel down the person who was just unhooked and two, should that be the unfortunate case, I pick up immediately. And yes, more often than not, I get DS'ed. The reason why I do this is to get that perk out of the game ASAP. If you slug, you have the potential23 comments 481 views last activity

As someone who enjoys playing both sides of the game, I feel that moris and keys offer a "cheap win" for each side. While I disagree that these elements should be removed from the game entirely I do believe they could each use a soft nerf. As for moris, I'm strictly referring to offerings. Devour hope is perfectly fine as is IMO and I don't have a solution to tweak rancor so all you get is a \o/19 comments 501 views last activity

I know that the subject is unrelated to the forum's intention but there's a reason we call unhooking ourselves "Kobe'ing". There is no better term for hitting a shot with only 4% chance of success. Given the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, I think it would be cool of Behaviour to raise all self unhooking chances to 24% this week to honor him. Let's all have a better shot to "Kobe" this week.40 comments 1,481 views last activity

Simple enough. Make it an obsession perk, too. The obsession isn't affected by it and has increased repair speed of......10%? I kinda liked the old Ruin where each tier affected 2, 3, and all survivors, respectively. I feel like that would be a good way to give it a "soft nerf". The change coming this week needs to either be pushed to 400% regression (the equivalent to one survivor's progress o0 comments 11 views last activity

Some perks are stronger than others, especially the ones that buff a particular killer's power or heal survivors, but they are ALL crutches. They all provide an advantage over the base game. (It's a joke to call any hex perk a crutch, you can take it away from the killer!) Play five consecutive matches without perks and see for yourself before you elaborate on how incorrect I am.9 comments 161 views last activity

As a survivor main who dabbles in killer matches, I just want to thank all of you killer mains. The game in its current patch is heavily favored towards the survivors and you are all awesome for giving us games to play despite the one-sidedness. Thank you!!!54 comments 1,581 views last activity

I think that most of us can agree that the current patch of the game is broken. Dedicated servers have been causing perks not to function properly. The hitboxes on some killers is an absolute joke (I'm looking at you, hatchets). The new rank reset system is...insane. With every new DLC comes more code built into the game and therefore bugs have more places to occur. So if we limit the DLC releas3 comments 51 views last activity

Perk suggestions to curb the toxic behavior of our less civil DbD players... Killer Perk: Tea Time - The survivors mock your miscues and the Entity shall make them pay. Anytime a survivor performs a quick crouch action in your terror radius, the survivor gains a token. For each token their movement speed is reduced by 1/2/3% for the entire trial, up to 8 tokens. There's no denying the large advantage that SWF provides. Through comms you can get valuable information such as killer perks, totem locations, progress info on a gen on the other side of the map, etc. If you have a savvy enough team on comms, they can render a killer's perks useless. How does the community feel about possibly upping the required generator count to 6 for SWF teams of 3 or 4? I'd28 comments 482 views last activity

Please keep in mind that I am a balanced player and when I do play killer, I run with Freddy about 30% of the time..... I was thinking how Freddy's snares are essentially traps like the hag, trapper, and demogorgon have. Unlike those killers however, there's no way to disarm Freddy's traps. I know that being out of the dream world makes you immune to its effects but I still feel that there sh14 comments 651 views last activity

In the microcosm of tonight's matches here's what I tallied: 3 killer matches with 4 total DCs and 2 people suiciding on their first hook. 4 survivor matches with 9 total DCs. That's 9 out of a possible 12. This is a small sample of a much larger problem. Almost every other online PvP game has a bad player lobby for those who purposely sabotage normal gameplay, why doesn't Dead By Daylight hav7 comments 111 views last activity

This is getting a little ridiculous, Behaviour. Fix it with the Freddy rework patch. A rank 10 killer against a squad of rank 2, 4, 7, & 8? In what world is that a fair match?1 comments 11 views last activity
