  • Well, that's fun.

Last Chance and Death Flesh sounds like NOED and Enduring.

When it comes to perks, you might want to specify a little more, I love the Inner Rage idea, absolutely love it, but does it reactivate when you get hit by another Pallet?

Rotten Ear sounded like Stridor but I realized that it's footsteps rather than breathing and all, I like it.

Blurry Vision and Spectral Path are LOVELY perks open to make new game mechanics.

Last Chance does not need totem, it increases the speed incredibly more and also allows you to execute the survivors. Death Flesh differs from Enduring in that the reduction of the stun is only for the ones that the survivors cause when they get rid of you (Enduring does not reduce this type of stun) besides allowing you to ignore the DS or the Head On once.

Yes, Inner Rage is activated again when you are hit by another pallet.

  • Yes! Keep nerfing the killers, please!

why did you have to make this long thread? they'll get banned anyway by disconnecting or getting up to rank 20.

Because I'm tired of not being able to play a normal game with my favorite killer without anyone being disconnected for being Legion.

#########, they literally made the infection ability for the new killer, and if i understood this right it does indeed progress if you don't cure yourself, making the survivor weaker.

    WE PREDICTED THE INFECTION!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!

OH MY FCKING GOD. I'M CLARIVIDENT

This Killer is REALLY slow, is that Nurse speed? When he's in a chase he's a normal slow Killer but still slow, but then maybe that's ok since he has a dash attack. Poopman already mentioned that this is kind of like Pig and my suggestion will add to it even more. There's 5 Gens so only 5 antidotes can be given out and if any of those Survivors get bit a second time they're screwed. Yes they have 5 minutes before they die but some teams just suck real hard so I think there should be like a medical station or like a special plant in the map that slowly drips out the antidote, and I mean SLOW and actually drips, first come first serve bitches. Also maybe the 5 minutes should be decreased to 3 or 3:30, only because the Killer is slow so there's no pressure and because the antidotes are around the map. This makes the Zombie a lot like Pig but still very different.

What do you think about the perks? Survivor and killer.

    Ability:

While I really like the idea of an infection being used as an ability, it seems a bit too similiar to the Pig's bear traps. I would suggest some things to make the infection more interesting, while less deadly.

My addition would be that the infection gets worse, the longer you are infected and the worse it is, the more it hinders you from being able to outrun the killer, hide or even do your objectives.

*Random occurences of being unable to interact with things

*Blurry vision for a specific duration

*Vision going dark for a specific duration

*Random stumbling animation occuring, which prevents you from steering your character for a short while

*Randomly occuring grunts of pain or even screams if the infection is very advanced

The longer you are infected, the more these events happen and the worse they get (i.e. your vision gets dark for a longer duration, your stumble animation is longer and happens more frequently, especially when you run - So if the infection gets really bad you can barely run anymore)

Imo these effects of a slowly evolving infection could be much more interesting than just flat out killing the survivor after 5 minutes.

These different ways of making them weaker could also be improved upon with addons.

    Perks:

Parabola: Interesting idea. A perk which also somehow asssists you in pulling off 360s at all could be interesting for newer survivors aswell.

Kicker: I can see this perk filling a gap which is needed more and more, I like this idea a lot, even though I'm a Killer main. Look at The Spirit's addon combination for example, where she can instantly teleport behind you to pick you from a generator, without you even being able to hear that she was shifting. It feels like the game is going into a direction, where grabbing might occur more often.

Save The Last For You: Don't get me wrong, this sounds interesting - It just seems like way too much effort for one single perk. Also, as far as I know they are trying to avoid adding anything even closely resembling weapons, as they want the survivors to feel helpless. That's basically what the devs said iirc and they aren't going to change their mind on these things. Just like they will never add voice chat, because "It ruins the immersion" (even though you could just make it a toggleable option, so their point is completely invalid.....)

Anyway, overall - I like the zombie theme and I would especially like to see an infection-like ability, although I'd find it way more interesting if you went through the stages of the infection over time, really making you feel like you are losing control over your body because you are being overtaken by the infection.

    Thanks. I apreciate your opinion.

  • Seven months later, this killer was made. Only that instead of Jeff is called Legion. With this you can see that developers do take a look at the ideas of the community.

This is a really cool concept.
I believe the obsession perk works well, kinda like the perk "Play with your Food" or "Save the best till last", this perk seems to encourage the killer to go after the obsession last. So maybe some added benefits for doing so could be interesting.

The Hex "Spin" could be devastating and game changing and I see it being extremely popular like Hex "Ruin". Although as it is, in my eyes, seems a little overpowered. Maybe either increase the spead of the needle or switch it's direction but not both effects at the same time.

"Tag" is pretty good as it s and doesn't need any changes in my opinion.

In terms of the Power itself and hiding your pressence is really interesting and using items can definitly change a players style. I see myself either enjoy getting the drop on the survivors or screeching at my screen as a survivor for being jumpscared.

Indeed it is very similar to The Pigs ability so maybe coming up with something new would be interesting. Really play on that childrens game theme you've got going and you might come up with something cool.

Overall a really cool concept that could actually see in the game and being very popular.

Thank you very much. I'm glad that you liked it.

    Great idea tbh

However, I do find Obsession: Sarah says a bit OP, yes it does balance out when the obsession dies, but really ruins altruism for many greedy players. However, I do think that this game needed a child killer, and I think this was perfect and there wasn't much that could be improved.

You didn't even make the big mistake where the power has nothing to do with the story. This has connection, and that's all you need

The reason why the power does not agree with the story is because, when I developed this idea, The Pig had not yet come out, and the power he had put was that of the ambush attack (only that it was a jump that allowed above windows, pallets and small objects and also knocked down). This is why I had to change it but I forgot to detail it in the story.

i LOVE IT maybe if you could come up with a survivor as well maybe one of the children she played with the day she was taken that grew up

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. The truth, I'm not going to lie to you. This is an idea I wrote some time ago in the Steam forum of this game and on that occasion I also wrote an idea of a survivor. However, the perks of that survivor, either already added to the game or not correctly match the metagame of the game. Maybe I plan to rewrite it, however, I'm a little short of imagination as perks of survivor. But surely something will occur to me. Regards!

  • I like The Shining Chapter, especially now, that I finished reading the book a few days ago.

I really like this idea. As I was reading about the player being infected and not being able to control themselves I immediately thought that's bad design to take someone out of a game BUT you added that they would be put into a "wiggle action" for 90 seconds to be able to get out of it and my mind immediatly went to brilliant! Great job!

    THANKS! :3

The Liar = The Nightmare, but without needing to sleep you.

Silence = A more op version of Nurse’s Calling.

Evil Eye = Knockout but for hooks.

Obsession = A more complicated version of Make Your Choice that can barely be understood.

    As for the Survivor:

Escape and Break-in are pretty much the same from what I’m understanding.

Locksmith = Something no one wants to deal with, would probably end games faster than what they already do.

Nurse's Calling allows you to see survivors who heal themselves or who are cured by others. Silence only allows you to see the survivors who heal themselves.

The perk of obsession I have explained again in another comment.

Escape and Break-it are not the same. Escape makes you jump faster through ordinary windows (those of a lifetime). And Break-It makes it possible to climb out of the windows that are higher (for example, some of the alleys of Haddonfield that are in the houses.

As for Looksmith, I forgot to mention that the killer can interrupt the survivor who is opening the trapdoor. If you interrupt it, the percentage will return to 0, as if it were a totem.

  • @TheChanelOberlin said:
The obsession perk makes literally no sense to me. Far too convoluted

I explain. The obsession can decide whether to betray its partners or not. If it does not, the perk is deactivated and does not work. If it does (indicating the direction of the companions to less than 8 meters) it begins to work. Every time you betray a partner you earn 50% more points. But if once he has betrayed someone he picks up or saves someone, the obsession can be knocked down and executed (only if he saves someone). If he does not save anyone then when his companions die the doors open and he can escape.

  • @popoles said:
Isn't Silence almost the same as The Third Seal?
And I don't understand the Obsession, too.

    Edit:
It's more like a buffed TS.

Not quite. The Third Seal makes the hit survivor unable to see the auras. But what Silence does is that it is the comrades who can not see that survivor while he is wounded.

  • @ItsDaEmuDood said:
So for Exorcism, is that for all Killers, like when you get that little audio cue, and the 200 BP for "Survivor Found"? If not, it's only for the Poltergeist, making it almost completely useless. Very good ideas, and you have my encouragement.

Exorcism works for all killers. The effect of the perk begins just at the moment when the persecution music begins, which activates when you find the survivor.

Confrontation sounds interesting! How would it work if the survivor suddenly leaps into a locker mid-chase? I suppose it wouldn't be too op...

If he jumps in the locker while chasing him, it does not work. It's only if it finds you while it's not chasing you.

  • Killer: Obsession: Traitor: At the beginning of the game, the survivor obsession will receive notification that it has been agreed by the killer. If you are close to obsession, he points you in the direction of a survivor who is less than 8 meters from you and you find him, the obsession will gain an accumulation of 50% of blood points up to a maximum of 300/400 / 500%. However, if the obsession rescues a survivor from the hook, all the accumulations obtained will pass to that survivor. In addition, you can be knocked down and executed with your own hands. This effect only applies if the obsession has betrayed one of his companions.

Survivor: Extreme stealth: Reduce by 50/75/100% the noise you make when running and your breathing when you are not hurt.

  • @swenpai said:
    Very similar to the pig.

Yes, it is similar to pig. What happens is that, unlike this, the child does not have bear traps, so their only power, stealth and jumping, must be strong so that the killer is not #########. That is why you can knock down and go over small obstacles. Its power is based exclusively on stealth and attacking fiercely, knocking it down, while with the pig, this is only an "accessory" to its power, since its power is, almost in its entirety, the bear traps .
