Why nerf it? Don't tunnel the survivor that has literally just been unhooked and jumps into a locker then. It's not that hard and if you see it and still decide to go after that survivor instead of someone else, that's on you. It's common sense.
The reason so many survivors use BT and DS is because of all the face-camping and hard-tunneling. A killer like bubba can still easily down someone with BT. And to say that these perks are carrying survivors, well the same goes for those face-campers and hard-tunneling killers. If they were more skilled they wouldn't need to use those strats.
But for new players facing strong killers or ones from higher MMR (which often happens), they will get crushed without some decent perks. You cannot call someone bad at the game when they've barely had the chance to learn the game.
Also perks like Head-on and Flashbang are the goofy and more fun, non-sweaty perks, which require some conditions to be met and need to be timed well to be used properly. Like at least they're not gen-rushing you. If you're even complaining about the fun ones, maybe you need to take a break from playing killer? Or don't take it so seriously.. it's just a game dude.

Yes, this makes sense. Also wish we had the bloody outfits as a selectable secondary option for every outfit/skin, that would be so good! Make them always look like they've gone through one hell of a trail!

How about she keeps all the maps, but just no 3 chain-blinks.

Pinhead?
Huh.
I...haven't seen a single Cenobite player in weeks.
Unless - wait, your name does sound familiar. You might well have played against me this afternoon - I tried this exact build. Barely got it started though, if I recall, a Mikaela DC'd pretty early.
It's an...okay build on him (a lot of people sleep on Penti, but it's great). To really use Penti well, you need controlled, sustained traversal, both to set up the pentis and to defend them - which only Onryo, Wraith, Blight, Nurse and Demo can really boast - and it's a waste on Onryo, Nurse and Wraith.
On Cenobite though, I prefer to run:
- Agitation
- Pain Resonance
- Starstruck
- Discordance
He's amazing with Starstruck, as if you get a single hunt off you're going to be wiping the team.
I honestly could not tell you, I think I faced 2 pinheads just yesterday. But I'd love to not see him for weeks.
Penti can be good! The executioner does also well with that one. Though one of the combinations that can work really well is undying with Devour, HG or even NOED. I keep forgetting that undying can give them a second life. It can be so strong!!

I don't have that as much with playing killer, because I usually take those games way less seriously. And I always have this wicked smile of I'm the bad guy now! So run and hide survivors *insert evil laughter* xD
However, I know how you feel cus I sometimes have that as a survivor, especially when there are TTV's in the lobby. While some of them are small streamers and all-around goofballs, others have hundreds of viewers and it's like oh good lord, I do not wanna be the teammate that can't loop the killer for at least 2 gens or something.
Whenever I have more than 1 killer game that goes south, I just switch up the killer and their perks or even put a map offering in. If my games still aren't fun I switch back to survivor or go to my comfort game lol. Maybe that might work for you as well? Or trying to play killer vs your friends/in custom lobbies? Also if end-game chat is playing any sort of role in that feeling, you could always turn it off! Because people don't know you personally and it's never anything against you as a person, just a remark on 1 game out of x many.

Yes, they do.
Don't get hooked so quickly?
Loop better, run better, hide better - be better.
Sometimes you will lose games. The sooner you learn to accept that, the sooner we'll get less petty us versus them threads like this.

Wait...how exactly did he put a pop into a gen that was being regressed by Ruin exactly?
Also...
That last part actually hurt my brain.
Sluzzy, there is bias and then there's deliberately ignoring how Dead Hard works.

Be glad you aren't going up against my Demo build :)
- PR
- Pentimento
- Plaything
- Discordance
It's so, so dirty with how well Demo can work around Penti.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2973080#Comment_2973080
No, no they aren't.
They are indeed strong perks, but they don't have a perfect synergy between them. PR is much better with DMS or Agitation. Pop is much better with Call of Brine.
Just...play around PR, release the gen a second before the killer hooks and don't tap the gen after PR hits. Boom, it can't be popped.
If you're waiting 15 seconds for a killer to come, you're doing it wrong mate. Give it 5, maybe 6 seconds then get back on it.
Even then, 15 seconds of regression is almost nothing.
That build is every Pinhead I've faced, and I face them too much for my liking lol.

I mean if two teammates are bringing 2 toolboxes it's not that weird for a killer to bring perks to counter them. I don't think it's being outclassed by perks as much as being forced to play on a more equal playing field. As a survirvor I'd love to go against the perks that Demo player used instead of the by now standard 3 killer perks (I'm facing): Corrupt, Pain Res and DMS.
Tinkerer is a great info perk and can work beautifully to a killer's advantage whilst in a chase, but otherwise doesn't slow anything down by itself. POP and Scourge Hook are conditional perks though, so the killer has to be strategical if they want to put them to good use. And ruin,,.. well you can literally ruin it by finding the hex totem.
-
I switch between Megalodon and Leon. Mainly Leon, though with him I get tunneled way too many times, so I often switch back to good ole Meg :)
Killer: Wraith/Spirit. Would love to get Ghostface though, just for the memes.

The other day i literally didn't play two games in a row that weren't in the same realm. It happens so often I started wondering if it was somehow a bug; the bloodweb sometimes bugs out and spawns the same perk over and over again (until you pick it) so I thought maybe it could be possible for maps to be bugged in a similar fashion.
In reality it's probably nothing but coincidences, even if i like to think there must be a reason as to why DBD sends me to RPD over and over again lol.
I'd love to get sent to RPD over and over lmao! Goodbye Gas Haven!

I, too many people's dismay, love RPD. I'm the psycho that keeps bringing everyone there just cuz I like the map lmao
Lmao same! I love that map and know every corner of it by heart. And Mother's Dwelling when playing Spirit ^.^

I know this thread is a bit old, but I'm wondering if this has ever been addressed? Every time I play as a survivor I keep getting the same map (without any map offerings) and face the same killer 3 to 5 consecutive games (whilst facing different players ofc). Gas Haven now 9/10 times equals facing Michael or Ghostface. Badham is always Trapper or Pig. How is that RNG when it happens several games in a row, with innumerable maps?
-
I personally don't think that playing as killer is so stressful. Yes, sometimes it does depend on what killer you're playing/your perk build. But overall it's nice! Though I don't care if I 4k every game, if the survivors are just having fun then I'm down with it. And facing a toxic SWF is just one game out of the many, so I just shrug it off.
Try playing a couple of games of soloq and you'll want to uninstall the game. Currently, I switch to killer to relax because as a survivor I'm getting hard-tunneled or farmed 9/10 games, with the killer literally eyeballing other survivors right next to the hook or next to me yet still they decide to tunnel. So yeah, fun times!
-
The BP event along with the Tome Savior challenge have made playing horrible. Killers are hard-tunneling and survivors are doing instant hook rescues in the killer's face without BT. Sure this type of thing happens at times, but atm it has reached new levels.

Just the general behavior of the people in the game.
You can be the nicest, most fair killer in the game and you'll get teabagged and flicky flicky'd in the exit gates.
You can be a completely fair, polite survivor and get slugged with Knockout at 5 gens.
Ngl when I first started playing this game I didn't know that it was considered T-bagging, instead of the closest thing to "victory" dancing lmao. Honestly, they should add some survivor dance moves xD
-
For me SoloQ, some of the Martian hit-boxes, and the fact that survivor names or abbreviations like ggwp (without space in between) are censored in the post-game chat lol.
