Don't play with 3. Play with 1. Then you have two other survivors of equal of your skill.
Averaging ranks don't work because if two rank 3~4's and two rank 20's join in a duo, the rank 13~15 killer is still going to get rofl stomped.
I believe if nobody mentioned that problem before it's probably because players like me usually avoid to play with lower ranks even if they are friends. I see that all the time. Well I might be wrong but technically if I'm a rank 12 and I vs 2 rank 4+ 2 rank 20 (12-8=4 ; 12+8=20) So this should be at least technically fair. The killer will have a chance I think. If he doesn't, then I guess they did a pretty bad job cauz at this point it's entirely on dbd devs

I play this game completely casually.

This is what it was like before. Not very fair at all.
This is what it's like now:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/570/ZQ7B0YIRVICT.png
As you can see, even being completely outclassed, I was still able to survive against a red rank killer.
Time has nothing to do with it. You just need to have the willpower to get better.
If you're teaming up with 3 red ranks yes this is fair. My situation is not the same at all I don't have other friends to help me carry 1 low rank. I am rank 1 and my 3 friends are rank 12, 12 and 12. I can't carry them all against a rank 1 killer. The rank 1 killer is much more efficient than I am at using their ranks at his advantage. No you don't even need willpower with 3 red ranks. Just let them carry you because they're 3 they easily can.

Ummm... Stop playing games without your friends so that you aren't drastically higher rank than them.
Yes you are right about that. It's kinda tough tho I like this game and I have more time than they do. I also have rank 1 friends but I would like to play with my lower rank friends without having to, in exchange, reduce the fun I get from this game in any way. I just hope that if people see my post they will think about it and maybe devs will take a look at it soon.

So because your friends refuse to get better at the game, you want to enable the ability to bully killers again?
No thanks.
There is nothing against the killers in my request. Even as a killer you either get very strong teams or very weak teams currently. Both extremes because of this system. My friends are good. But they will never be good enough to face red ranks. People have children and many other reasons that doesn't allow them to spend enough time to get better at this game. Killers, don't you want a fair lobby too? Aren't you more interested in getting a team of your level than 8 ranks lower? X)

You can always make more friends to be able to play Custom Game with a full lobby.
No ranks interfering whatsoever.
Custom game isn't the same mode. Yes no ranks but also no rewards, nothing this is even worse. I'm not sure if you're really trying to help or just being not nice but thanks anyways.
-
I thought this was obvious so I didn't even write it. Yes, the previous update was painful for killers and also unfair. Which is why inverting it didn't solve the problem but inverted the problem. The previous system was:
3 rank 1+ 1 rank 20=rank 20~ killer
The new system:
1 rank 1, 3 rank 20:
Rank 3~ killer.
Both updates aren't balanced
Everyone knows the previous update was painful and unfair including me. Please, that's not my point.

Hi dude! You're a smart guy so I won't give you basic advices. The biggest difference between killer and survivor is you can play with friends and that's where the fun is. If you play with friends I recommend a risky rewarding gameplay, solo I recommend a safe survival gameplay. Run an exhaustion perk for great chases and an avoid the killer perk like premonition or quick crouch. Then a healing perk. Personally I use bond so I can see others then they heal me quick. Last perk well the bp perk for David is great for quick grinding and getting new perks faster.
-
You all are wrong. Or almost. They didn't solve the problem. They inverted it. Survivors with Rank 1 were facing rank 20. That's bs. But now, rank 20 survivors are facing rank 1 killers. That's the same bs but inverted!!! If there is a rank 1 and 20 for example= Rank 10 killer. That's just logic am I wrong?! Come on dbd
-
I only played as Billy. I never ever used ruin because this doesn't make the game more fun for me or for the survivors. Knowing that I won a game using ruin or noed? No satisfaction, no point. Playing killer is just too competitive. You can't miss a single hit or do 1 mistake in some games, even if you do 0 mistakes you still loose sometimes. damn. This doesn't feel fun. We need something else. Another killer mode maybe.
-
Guys. I'm a survivor. Killers are fine. 10% of them are bad killers. But30% are good killers that were trolled by toxic survivors. Then they camp or focus. I'm always kind with the killers because I know it's mostly survs fault
-
Unlike everyone else, I'll be honest. At first I had to camp, because playing killer is too hard, at first.
-
In my games as à killer, survivors never wiggle off anyways, I've so many hooks ^_^
-
Yep. That's not even hard to do honestly. They're just lazy because they would have to redo all the sounds. The spirit sword is good I think.Bug_Reporter said:@NoMitherPlayer said:
I want to hear a shovel s sound when I hit a survivor with mine as hillybilly. When I'm the doctor I want a baseball batt sound. ######### this is just obviousWelcome to DbD!
-
We know how the spirit will be. Anyways thank you guys Peasant and Master. That's pretty much what I needed to know
-
You can hear the survivors well in ghost mode? I thought this was impossible, that they were mute in this worldPeasant said:Since the spirit cannot see bloodstains while haunting you're going to have to rely on three things:
- Audio
- Scratchmarks
- The map
Just because you can't see survivors doesn't mean you can't hear them. If the grunts of agony are very loud then swing as you might be on top of the survivors.
Scratchmarks will be a key indicator for novices so get Predator on the Spirit for decent tracking.
Since bloodstains aren't an option some map items are just as good. Things like "Grass, Corn, and Bamboo" move when survivors move through them. The Spirit on Coldwind Farm is very effective because of this fact. -
Just dc. If a player dc I won't enjoy it but if he texts me back it's for derank, I will understand him. Honestly. You probably were a good teammate in thousand games, so it's ok feel free to dc.

I disagree, because you can make tactical decisions only after they get hit. Mayers Lvl 3, chainsaws, a quick 2nd hit... And you're too late. After 32meters, with the quick animation killer's pick up, you will never arrive in time in order to body block , flash his eyes or whatever tactic. It's sure empathy is better when the survivor is injured, but that's the problem too in my opinion.Chi said:I prefer Empathy. The bond range is small, with Empathy I can make tactical decisions a lot better. Because I know exactly where the killer is when a chase is ongoing. And I can run up and heal a teammate when they are injured when they lose the killer.

What is kindred 3?
Kindred reveals survivors to each other when you are on the hook. Kindred III reveals the killer if they are within 8m of the hook.
-
It's not on ps4 there is no voice chat in the game. Just parties with friendsHP150 said:Who needs Bond when voice chat is free for every survivor?

+bond allows you to know the position and where the survivor and the killer will be. So you can expect their moves for example and make a quick strat. Voice is useful, but bond is just like having eyes all around the zone. There is a huge difference between 'the killer is behind me! ' and a very accurate aura view from bond. That's why bond is the best as a killer... (Mayers mirrors are about auras, the bell guy, ######### Freddy inescapable chases because of the aura thingy... The uses as a killer of the auras are obvious, but not as a survivor. Voice chat + bond = best combo? -

What is open handed? Sorry I'm French these perks names aren't always obviousC4Garuda said:Bond+open handed= your welcome. One of my fav perk combos. -
So from what all of you guys say, it seems like Bond/self-care+ Iron Will? + DC would be one hell of a build? I believe adding dead hard as a 4th perk would be great, or maybe the feng min window dash?
Btw I never used dc before, almost. I played dbd 1 year. I tried it yesterday and it clearly saved my games. Facts.
-
That would be a shame
Well if I'm in solo with randoms, self care may be the best. Honestly I never play solo so ill just believe what you're sayingmeshugganah said:self care is a must. many of these "teammates" will intentionally blow skill checks when there are only two survivors left and they themselves have full health.Iceman said:NoMitherPlayer said:Bond is the 1# perk to me.
It feels necessary to use it. Why?
1: Better than self-healing, because finding a teammate to heal you is faster.
(Self-healing is better when you're the last surv or against Freddy but in terms of being useful during the whole match, bond 1#)
2 and 3: You don't need to search for the engines. Most of the time survivors are either being chased or fixing engines.
With Bond, you're basically quicker at helping your teammates and going from a gen to another.
4: you're in control. You know most of the time where the killer is(either chasing or searching) so you know where to be and what is the best thing to do, often.
What do ya guys think? Do you agree?
Bond will not be such a great thing far as healing. The devs plan on having where it your teammate have sc then it will affect healing other players. And on top of that self care will take forever to heal
I don't like using self healing because of the red loading already it's long enough
-
Bond also counter survivors who tries to do this lol. With bond you see them running at you so they can give ya the killer. You're so right dude.meshugganah said:bond enables survivors to sandbag one another. doubt this? how many times while being chased will a "teammate" come unhook you directly in front of the killer? how many dwights have you seen who will run right up to you while they are being chased and you're on a gen? -
Too bad they didn't combine these 2 into 1 perk. I am French so iron will sounded like calm spirit to me, the way it was described ^^
-
I would compare iron will to that perk which gives you a kind of signal when the killer is at 48meters.premonition I think. I sometimes use this perk so I can expect the killer and hide or move before he even comes. Iron will might be better because it counters the doctor too. I use a shirtless no mither David, so killers easily see me because of the white skin lol.AshleyWB said:I'm not the biggest fan of bond. I'm like the killers gonna chase me at some point and my perks evolve around outplaying or outrunning the killer to waste his time and stay healthy. Iron will is an amazing perk. The amount of times killers have thought i just disappeared is actually mind blowing. -
Empathy=good when survivors are injured. Bond: You can actually know where they are even before they get injured most of the time and perhaps save then from the injury to be optimistic. + maps aren't so big, killers and survivors always stick to the middle. Generally, empathy's range isn't necessary. With bond if they're out of range that's cool because they're too far to be helped. Bond is good for teamwork, so 30+meters is perfect. If a survivor is being chased at 40+ meters he's too far there's no point in trying to help. Same for healing. Doesn't matter the situation bond comes in handy. Being chased? Locate a teammate so he can help you somehow. An ally chased? An ally who needs to be healed, or to be out of crazyness? Seeing an ally fixing an engine when you search one? I could tell 50 usual stuff that happens every single game where you win time because of bond. Obviously, it's pretty much linked to teamwork, if you're a lone or selfish survivor who just cares about his rank, it's not that good.

Wow which stream?
Even if they can't make it a 9 survivors mode, a simple 'survival mode' with the regular 4 survs one killer with mori would be fun already. -
That's a lil exaggeration right there, finding lobbies since last week is no longer a problem (almost) Well I hope that at some point they will step up.

Ask meg to carry David lol. Carrying another survivor is harder than it looks, killers do it because they're all tall and strong. Hag is just weird
