Announce that prices are getting standardized next patch. Immediately go against their own words the moment the patch drops. Classic BHVR.

As of patch 5.7.1 my ini started working again without any changes being necessary. I use the GarbageCollectionSettings line.
Not sure if BHVR listened to us or all of this were accidents. The AA enabling was an accident or disabling it again is. Either way, we are free from AA once more.
Great that it's not forced again, absolutely terrible that they absolutely refused to actually SAY anything this entire time.

Triggered much?... well calm down, I never said games don't include AA options anymore and I know it can look extremely blurry in certain games like RDR2. In my opinion DbD has very good AA but I play on Ultra, will check how it looks on lower settings when I have the time.
If you really think Vaseline smeared over everything is 'very good', more power to ya, but as someone who also plays on Ultra, I find it absolutely horrendous, and can't play with it without hurting both my eyes and my head. Whatever the case, BHVR needs to get their ######### together when it comes to graphical options.

AA looks awful, it hurts my eyes, gives me a headache. I don't care if the hair looks wonky with it off, I know it's not ruining my gaming experience unlike with it on.
Still don't get how BHVR has yet to bother saying a god damn thing. Apparently, it's very hard to acknowledge this. Way harder than acknowledging Ghost Face's music giving people headaches still, it seems. That's easy. But no, yeah, continue ignoring us, why don't you?
-
Still no acknowledgement from BHVR, I see.
-
Doesn't help that they have yet to bother acknowledging the issue. I guess it's really hard to show a shred of care.
-
Can't turn off the garbage blurry AA anymore, and BHVR has yet to bother saying anything about it.
-
Still no word on this. Of course.
-
Not only does it end up disabled again, and we're still missing basic options that should be standard, but they're not even bothering to say anything about it. Shameful.

Wait, did this update undo previous changes to the .ini files that disabled Anti-Aliasing?
Because if it did, I'm one of the many who will have to withstand a low fps and a ugly blurred screen when my game finishes updating... is there a way of disabling it again?
No way has been found to disable it again yet, as far as I know, and BHVR has yet to show any acknowledgement of the issue, predictably.
-
It's not just a bit disappointing, it's downright shameful. I can't even play like this, the blurry mess hurts my eyes and gives me a headache.
-
I'll be surprised if they bother to show any acknowledgement at all.
-
God, I hope someone can figure something out, I can't play like this.
-
Got them as well, finally. Hopefully everyone who's still missing them can get them sooner rather than later.
-
Still nothing. What a surprise.
-
STILL no shards. I can't believe they can't even get THIS right. What a joke.
-
Yep, still no shards. Go figure.
-
Nothing here yet.
-
I love not being able to play the game I spent money on (due to eye strain and headache, not to mention garbage FPS) and not getting a single semblance of a ######### from the devs. It's great. "Just upvote the Q&A question, guys. It's not like we could give you a quick reply here or anything."

do we have any updates from the devs?
No signs I can find of them giving a single damn yet. Not surprising, honestly. They tell us "We turned it all off for reasons not even directly related to the anti-aliasing." but they won't tell us "We hear you, we'll fix it." real quick.

This whole patch makes me want to headbutt my keyboard
Same, honestly.

Oh, the game's back to looking freaking terrible... Thanks, BHVR, very cool.
