one of two things:
Evolve comes back. Or any other AAA asymmetrical with a budget and competent coders. Doesn't even have to be horror. Just needs to be a shinier toy than DBD.
Servers go down.

anyone else not gonna read an unformatted wall of text?
tl;dr, learn to press enter.

nope, not normal. its the crown cosmetic doing it. got it in my game too.

That would allow killers to make decisions way faster and would increase queue times overall.
Because if killer see swf killer will either prepare or dodge. What they do now? They check their profiles and dodge or prepare afterwards. Which like i said is only a waste of time. SWF mark would allow killers to prepare instantly.
No. your fault for not countering co op strat/expecting to win against better players/not playing nurse or spirit. game not going to hold your hand. get better.

These types of systems are not designed to be completed by every player.
The rift itself is a business model and as such by design it’s there to make BHVR money. If everyone could easily complete the rift then they would be giving it away free and would only make money off of new players investing in it.
Its why the value of the rift itself for what you can get is lower than buying all the skins off the store. If you got 4 or 5 good pieces you in essence have your money’s worth. What it does is entice you to play more to earn more and why the challenges only give you half of the overall completion. It’s also so the majority have earned some cells so are more likely to buy the next one as it’s lower in price.
This is why I avoid all forms of battlepasses as they aren’t designed to just give you something but instead to keep you spending money over prolonged periods. Also remember it’s just cosmetics and don’t add anything to the gameplay itself so an optional extra.
only rational post in the tread

- The only real counter to Spirit is to play her and learn her tactics. She's easy to handle.
- Hex perks are a relic of a bygone age in dbd and should be removed out right.
- The devs aren't surv or killer sided; they are just "bad" at the game, and don't have as much time to play as we do. They make decisions based on stats and metrics. They see dbd as a collection of numbers and lines of code, not a game. Any other explanation is cope. See: HagCote vs SK
- death garden was a better game.

Oh boo hoo, 1 killer had an advantage over you.
Don't act like survivors don't abuse the locker lag and makes killers miss hits while jumping in and out of lockers and having them get stuck in grab animation as the survivor runs off.
Both sides benefit in some way.
ok meghead. then clearly nobody benefits and the thread is valid.

I can't put into words why I hate this but I'll try. I think it's the lack of script and rambling. seems like pointless wingeing.

It's not a conspiracy. If they didn't want us knowing the truth, they would go to a bit more trouble to hide the values in the game files. It's not like this information isn't publicly available on the official wiki.
OP - I'll copy and paste the answer I gave on your original question, in case you'd like to have a discussion about it.
I believe the reason they use words is to make the add-ons easier to compare to one another. Everyone knows what the word "moderate" means, so you can get a rough idea of how effective that add-on is just by reading the description, whereas if it said 10% you would have to do the maths to understand how much difference it really makes in the context of the power.
And the reason that particular words aren't associated with specific percentages - for example, "considerably" could mean 20% on one killer's add-on and 15% on another - is because they are relative terms. Meaning that their purpose is to give you an idea of how effective that add-on will be at enhancing its corresponding killer power. 15% might be a "tremendous" amount in some contexts and only a "moderate" amount in others - a 15% movement speed increase, for example, is huge, but a 15% increase in healing speed only makes about two seconds' difference - so in some ways it's more useful to know the relative effectiveness of an add-on instead of just a number.
Having said all that, and while I do think that using relative terms to describe certain add-ons is actually useful, I think it would also be a good idea to include the actual percentages in the descriptions for those who are interested in exact figures.
One shouldn't have to go to the wiki just to get information that valuable. Whether the info is publicly available or not, if it isn't contained in the dbd.exe its irrelevant. This isn't 32 bit fallout, I shouldn't have to put together a research doc just to explain perks and add ons to my friends. this lack of mechanic transparency contributes massively to new players struggling. This is unintuitive.

just a rant this games really on my last nerve with this community asking for dumb updates that won't help the gameplay
this is why the game is going down the wrong path, everything i just said
well everything you just said was incomprehensible so I don't know why you'd expect anyone to listen to you. I understand you're frustrated with the state of the game; we all are, but trust me unless you learn how to articulate your problems a little better you're just going to come off like an angry 15 year old who just got killed and came to the forums to cry about it.

I highly doubt 99% of the forum members are killer mains. Why can't people express their opinion and make a point without making negative assumptions and being negative towards other people?
people dont know how to make good faith arguments it seems.
the real question is why ruin is still bothering people after all this time. coordinated survivors who know the numbers games of dead by daylight will blow you the ######### out if you dont have that ~30 seconds of setup time ruin grants you.

Noed should be removed. I know I know but before the "Survivior main spotted" comments come in, I'm a filthy Nurse main. So killers as well as Surviviors hate me
Noed, simply put, does not reward the killer for good gameplay or punish the Survivior for bad gameplay. It rewards killers for bad gameplay and punishes Surviviors for good gameplay. Let's think about the trigger conditions and the dichotomy that is established.
How many totems need to be cleansed for NOED to not trigger? All 5. That means Surviviors can do 4/5 totems and Noed will still trigger. So there's a lot of effort that needs to be put into countering Noed. Let's juxtapose this with what the killer needs to do in order to trigger Noed. Which is...let the Surviviors complete the gens. This is btw, something you are NOT supposed to do. You are not supposed to let Surviviors complete their win condition in order to escape as a team. Noed allows you to let them complete their objective and rewards you for failing, which to me is gross.
Survivors have to be victims of toxic behavior to earn decisive strike and they have to work for Mettle of Man. They have to have a friend who is a victim of toxic behavior for borrowed time. Killers that ride everything on Noed are not smart killers trying to punish the genrushing toxic squadettes clicking their flashlights at poor bubba's and Wraiths who have to deal with windows. They're plain and simply put, bad at the game. And I specifically recall killer mains as a whole saying that BHVR shouldn't balance this game around people who are bad at the game.
Oh right. I forgot. Ur only bad if ur a Survivior main. If you consistently can't even get a kill with killers it's just bc Surviviors are OP, right?
you say this with such confidence. as if this game is actually balanced around killers reaching their win condition.
