Its like this on PC too, im rank 12 going against red ranks. Personaly i like it cause i can focus on my weaknesses. Best we can do is not look at it as a loose but as a learning experience.

Survivor: BY FAR Looping. I dont know when i can loop one more time and being able to hug the walls effectively
Killer: Again goes to loops, not knowing which loop is best to chase at and which in mind game able.
Loops are my true enemy in DBD

One thing I'm partial to is a secondary objective to gens. Either stoping 3 gens from being repaired before a switch is fliped (Ayrun threw this idea out and i like it {it would also help with preventing 3 gen setups i may be more of a killer than survivor but 3 gen setups are not fun for either side just becomes a who will persevere longer})
One idea i had was having Jerry cans in the game. 5 would spawn cause of the amount of gens that must be repaired before gates much be open. plus this could add a way to communicate to randoms in your game "Hey work on this gen" Before a gen is fueled it would take more time IDK what time would work maybe +10 seconds, so 90 instead of the 80 gens are now (yes i know they said no increasing gen speeds but with a secondary objective this would have to happen for incentive to do that secondary objective in Ex hex perks) once a gen is fueled i would take -10, so 70 seconds. Cans would spawn by lockers with in 32 meters of gens. Fueling a gens would take 1 second. (please keep in mind that this numbers are rough and something like this would need a lot of testing before it is fair for both sides)
If you see any holes in it dont be afraid to poke em, lets just keep it constitutive. Offer a counter point to that hole.

This, this actually made me tear up

The majority of survivors don't care about ruin, that is the truth. They find it easy to get rid of the only survivors that have been asking for a ruin nerf are rank 15-20s. Honestly ruin is like playing killer with 3 perks in some cases anyways. Don't blame the survivors for this.
Even when i was rank 15 i didnt care. I saw it as punishing me cause i {error word not found} up. I actually enjoy going against a killer with ruin even now at rank 14. Just started playing survivor every other game like 3 weeks ago.

DS by far. sometimes ill purpousle go after the unhooker just so i dont get DS but sometimes ill get the person who has DS and still get hit. because i was totally tunneling. IMO it should get deactivated once someone else has been hooked. Even if it should get a time incres because of the change. Im willing for it to be 1min at DS 1 and 1 min 30 at DS 3 IF once i hook someone else the DS gets deactivated.

Great way to get people to start thinking instead of saying "GET RID OF IT" But this the problem with this change is the going near hook part. If it was just being on death hook then being able to mori def a good change. Is it perfect no, but no change will be, we can however make it better!

... Because honestly I'm feeling kinda isolated right now.
I still remember when I opened a thread asking how ruin was important in killer builds and most of the responses were negative.
So... I suppose I should say "No-ruin users rise!" or stuff like that?
For me its a per killer basis. Some killers i run it others i don't. That's the beauty of the killers there's is not 1 perk set fits all.

We all know how fast gens can be completed and how much killers have been relying on ruin to combat it.
What if the devs do want to extend gen times etc but the only thing stopping them is ruin because in those scenarios it would be too strong.
So with ruin nerfed the devs can now see how fast gens really take in the ptb and hopefully make some changes in the near future to combat that.
I'm just being hopeful that this isn't an isolated Nerf that goes nowhere and that there is an overall goal in mind.
This is what im hopeing for too, but im just worried that BHVR will take too long to either come up with or implement a change.
