Not angry about a test so much, but really to focus so much time and effort on Bloodlust when there are far more serious issues affecting the game? Really, Bloodlust is the top priority??

Lol ikr. It's not like the Huntress bug of the camera snapping to the hooked survivor is important,

or the fact Pyramid Heads alt attack is screwed up so badly that every time you use it it is stuck,

or the fact I can blink out of the map in Haddonfield

or the fact some of the rift challenges are broken and don't register as a win.

Or for instance the fact the clown is at a very ######### place right now and could use this attention,

Orr the fact Victor has been a disaster since day one in terms of balance.

THEN there's also the fact that players have requested quite badly a offline training mode for the game similar to Dbd mobile

THEN there's the fps problems on Ormond and the new maps making everything twice as dark as they used to be,

THEN there's the issue of survivors getting free iron will because of a sound bug.

NOPE! Bloodlust OP plz nerf. I can do this all day boyos. Get your priorities straight Devs.

  • This is one way to piss of killers and make them leave your game. Bloodlust helps new comers more so than the more experienced, it was never an issue before and the "many" people who are referred to in this post, is just one who is a Fog Whisperer and wants things handed to them. You mentioned before in a developer live stream that Bloodlust was not going to be touched, as usual going back on your word. Great reputation to have.

  • Who knew modeling your character to resemble a baby would cause people to call him a baby?

  • Hide post game chat of "ggez, get good" which I had to do 2 months back playing with no addons or perks, just learning her little attack methods and be patient with yourself. If they T-bag, ignore it, if they spam the vaults and pallets to deafen you with alerts, toss the sound off. Blink once to overshoot (a rough idea where a person is) and blink again to fine tune yourself to hit them. Experience is the best teacher.

  • Tldr, I'm a killer main and don't tunnel.

  • In my opinion, as a person who has done texture work and modeling for games for 10+ years. The maps on the "old build" are currently distinct in their colour tone, by this I mean look at Coldwind farm and notice the Yellow feel from the crops and Hay, I've noticed on these later updated maps that feels is completely gone. Macmillan has a blue cold industry feel, indicating it was long gone and abandoned in the "old" map. After playing on the newer style of map I've found these tones have completely vanished from the maps. The all feel similar, with only the landmark buildings distinguishing them apart. Movies/cartoons/concept art do this consistently to tell a story and using the UE4 engine there is no excuses, you have that power to make these maps spectacular and it appears your also reusing the same texture placements on most if not all the brick/cement textures. I understand your on a deadline but that needs to be varied up, along with these crate textures, the variety and tone of these maps has diminished greatly from their older counterparts. No highres models or textures can hide rushed work (i wont mention that awful door, its embarrassing and is a blight on your talented artists.

  • His weakness is turning and curves essentially you can only use his power versus hold W gamers. Still fun as hell tho!

A certain British man was going on a tangent about C21 and survivor vs killer and all that today. We're going to be seeing a lot of dumb arguments about it.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, one person does not speak for what others feel. What you call "dumb" is not an argument, it's a discussion. Instead of speaking intelligently together people patronise and fire insults at each other, how does that help anyone?

  • I just wanted to add I play both sides, I love playing survivor with my pals and sometimes solo (im looking at your randoms not doing anything in the corner!) and have no bias towards either side, I feel the fact people think this addon may be op is justified BUT it does not need to be nerfed to the ground, the smallest of changes make the biggest of differences in this game and its so fragile to keep it just right for everyone.

  • From how I play it, you charge, hit a wall, IF there is someone there you can MAYBE get a single hit in if the survivor is essentially right next to you, before he plays the vial injection animation. (since your NOT resuming your bounce attacks/movement.) It's essentially the same as a legion stabbing someone and seeing their heartbeats, same recovery, same one hit and choice to resume the chase. The Wraith has similar tracking perk addons too for his detection. There is a trade off for every single point you decide to use this addon, your sacrificing your momentum and speed to see an aura and go for the chase. the difference between this killer and the two previous ones i mentioned is legion and wraith have to slow down either before or after the first hit. If I was thinking outside the box I would perhaps either lower the seconds to..half? along with the rarity upped, I don't use it that much as i prefer using my adrenaline vial and the turning addon to counter the loss of turning. I still have to counter this with the blood amber addon (not to mention the army of perks to see the killer) which does the EXACT same thing for the survivors.

  • So a killer, who quite EASILY loses his sense of direction by missing objects, over shooting the survivor is helped by seeing an aura for 6 seconds, have you actually played this killer? He is designed to be fast/clumsy and a challenge, an addon to allow the player to regain their sense of direction AFTER bumping into an object is a really clever way for the game to communicate to the player to keep it up, that they can still do this. I agree, yes maybe green is a tad too low on the rarity for him and should be maybe tossed into purple and bring his turn addons down to green (just an idea) This killer is very much so a fun aspect of Dbd and encourages the player to keep trying, this addon compliments that.

NOW survivor side of this argument: Yes he can see you after he bumps into something, the same way a broken key can be included with a blood amber and extra time to see the killer, it's in no way game breaking or unfair. You have the exact same thing with Huntress with her addons to track you, it's nothing new to Dbd. there's many perks to see the killer (Which is fine!!) a simple changing or rarity from green to purple to bring it up to the blood amber level might be all it needs. This killer averages a 1 to 2 kill per match, he is made for fun and not for high level play (at least from what i've seen/played) survivors not once while i played have complained about this killer, if anything they know he is a good laugh and the more they get chased the more exciting the game is for them, im not denying the perk is too low in rarity, it may well might be, but seriously its has only been 2 days, 2 days you've given this guy. Seems hypocritical to me to nerf him right at this moment, we all take time to adjust. This same thing happens every new killer and they become a shell of their potential. Let the developers do what they think is right, I have faith in them and at some stage during development this addon was considered fine, don't second guess yourself just yet devs, let it have time and let the numbers come in on the actual killer.

  • I've tested and compared these resolutions, i've been through the code i've seen all of the ways to brighten and darken elements of the game and I can vouch that using the symmetrical resolutions DOES in fact give you a competitive edge over the killer. I have much proof if needed I will gladly provide. If you are concerned about your frames per second they use your native monitor scales. You're able to see over obstacles, terrain and it eliminates the original intent of the game designed by the developers. You're going out of your way to see more of the map for your own beneficial needs, your lying to yourself if you state otherwise. Give me a proper argument if there is one, even the mobile game is designed with native phone/ipad scales, every game is. Quit the bulshittery and play like a normal person and earn your wins.

I believe a warning should be issued, it's quite easy to detect tampering with the ini files (the ini files control the games custom settings such as lighting/texture sizes/ui scale and so on.) My 15 year old pc can run this game on medium to high settings with no issue the devs did a good job on optimisation and if you wish to have a more stable fps lower your res, change your textures to low, turn of other applications and enjoy the game as it is. This is for the developers to decide not us. I'm sure they know what's up. Its happened before in many Unreal engine games such as Fortnite. Try it on csgo with the source engine and the game actually adapts to what your doing. This can all be fixed with time, which should be spent on other things not this nonsense.

  • Gen speeds are fine, completely fine, don't we all like to run from one corner of the map to the other like sonic and not hit anybody?

  • Since your making the game easier for survivors, will you be doing anything to make the experience for killer at least more enjoyable?
