No i didnt. For those people it doesnt even make sense if you play spirit "fair" or as a meme.
I got reported and flamed for playing Mad Grit Bubba so often just because they dont know, what this perk does.

Hahaha. Honestly, who DCs against a Killer not using their power? It's fairly easy to maintain a long chase before you meet your demise. Hope, you and the other Survivors experienced better matches after that.
Looks like the Bill is suffocating to death (but probably still enjoying it).
If your goal is to force nerfs (hello legion), it doesnt matter how the unfun killer is played.

We punish people for it, we punish people who suggest and encourage it on our platforms, a new system can be implemented on the dedicated servers in the future, so I don't think anyone is underestimating anything.

Direct punishment just like CS:GO would be the best solution.
The current system is like smoking. You might get cancer someday, somewhere.
The player should have the option. Either tolerate this "unfun" trial or disconnect and screw 4 other players. If you choose the DC, you wont be able to play for the next 60 minutes.

What you are quoting has been taken out of context from a Custom Game, during a Tournament with its own rules.
As I already said we do not approve or encourage DCing, there's a system to punish it and I'd like to remind you that the servers are still in a testing phase, until they are not on every platform, they won't be considered live, so you can't expect to have a new system ready and implemented.

Yes, it was a custom game. But it had thousands of viewers and in my opinion the "custom game" reply is a bit short minded from the dev side. This guy already did a big disservice to the game with the killer-power-exploit. I guess he really aprreciates devs' mercy.
However, the DCing problem is nothing the dev- and modteam should underestimate. It's not enough to just "not encourage DCing"

Despite the fact she doesnt give a ton of feedback in what exactly is happening is she or isnt she phasing for example. I find that kind of fun though not knowing whats going to happen it could be different every time.

I play this game since 2016 and this DC mindset is cancer for this already bad community.

For obvious reasons people (not just survs) feel pretty safe since the DC-ratio must be pretty high to strike in. I mean people even have their "DC rules" on their profile. Do this or that and i'll be gone and you depip - muhahaha.
I'm not only complaining from a killer's side of view. As a survivor, that never DCs intentionally it just sucks to have a snowflake in your team. The game is usually lost and 600 points for being abandoned wont change anything.
The community has been promised a DC punishment when the servers go live, since devs "can track DCs and see if it was intentional or caused by the game"

As far as disconnecting and stuff goes, there should be guaranteed SAFETY pips... Why? Because your actions were to try to play the game, ranking is supposed to be based on PERSONAL skill, not others, and if others are DC'ing that's not a good judge of YOUR personal skill.. so why get punished that way? It only messes with the rank and skill levels and further dis-proportioning them, in my opinion. I think it needs to be re-worked.

I got dcs when i play every killer no exceptions. Obiously not every match, but pretty often. They really abuse the no penalty for disconecting. And because the solution is a time penalty to join another match like many games have, but it implies to touch "the so beloved survivors" we as a killer have to deal with it.
True story. Actually many said they gonna report me for abusing legion. I didnt play the endless mending, but for some reason i have a strange feeling, that if they really reported me, i might get into some trouble for playing legion all day.

No it's not the same person. It have been 3 different persons. They did it from the beginning and their intention was obvious, regarding their loadout.

Well i actually managed to complete this twice in my last game. I didnt get any progress on the achievement.

Very interesting....Private data would be considered things such as photos, documented files such as .docx and along those lines.
Data such an programs and hardware Intel exist and can be obtained through the spyware. It's probably more intended for improvements on gameplay (Regarding GPU + CPU, etc) than using your resume files or your vacation photos and even your browser history. None of that has any remote use nor would they ever care to take a look at.
If for whatever reason they were to even release any type of personal information (which will never be the case) it is illegal and legal action would be necessary and prompted.
Once more though, your private information serves 0 purpose to about 99.8 % of the population. Unless you got some pretty folder filled with photos of murdered victims... Lol

If you live in the EU, you can claim the EU-GDPR.
Data mining, such as redshell does, has to offer an opt-out option.Since it obviously doesnt contain this option, behaviour could be in big trouble at least in the EU.
I reported this game on steam by using the flag on the shop-site and also reported the case to the privacy officer of the local government. I'm curious to see where this will lead and will keep you guys informed.
