I think devs missed something here.
No Mither prevents you to leave blood pools, but blood orbs have nothing to do with blood pools. Blood orbs are left by any injured survivor.
So for now, as No Mither gives broken status, you leave blood orbs all the time so you barely can't play against Oni.

Hmm people are getting a 1.7 gb update, but for me it's 2.1 gb????
Maybe not the same platform ?

I mean I view it point wise, ignoring if survivors are just being toxic
if a killer slugs for a 4K - the game will potentially last 5-10 minutes longer for 400ish bloodpoints base, nothing else, except some emblem but serious who cares about rank, especially when it’s a insignificant amount of 1 emblem value max
99% doors - prevents bloodwarden, can allow you to save other survivors so they can escape, which is 1500+ bloodpoints only including saving bloodpoints as well
4K is the objective of the killer, as escaping is the objective of survivors.
As a killer, why would I say "I'm fine with 3K, let the last one escape" ? No way ! I'll do what it takes to complete the task.
Would a survivor say "Ok, I'm glad I repaired some gens, now you can sacrifice me" ? I don't think so.
And about the supposed waste of time, slugging for 4K doesn't take that long because it's done when both survivors are together, otherwise it's uneffective. So you down one, chase/down/hook the 2nd, and get back to the 1st. It's far shorter than when someone's hiding beside the hatch waiting for the 3rd sacrifice.

Do you get banned in other games for refusing to play i know overwatch and cod throwing is a bannable offense. Idrk about this game.
These are the gameplay bannable offenses :
- Working with the opposite team to gain an advantage or grief teammates
- Targeting specific users repeatedly in order to ruin their game experience
- Holding the game hostage

And what if i have bt to get you off that hook regardless of the camper and trade places with you you killing yourself gives the other survivors no chance to do anything i always run bt and find it stupid when survivors kill themselves on hook.
If I get camped on first hook and no one has come to me until I reach struggle phase, I assume no one has BT.

When you see them doing gens, you know they don’t have to get you immediately right? There is no difference whether they get you right off the hook or wait 55 seconds. I often see teammates finish a gen or totem then run over to me after 30 seconds, if I was you I would have given up and not had a chance to escape.
Sorry I missed one thing : it's when on my first hook, I reach stage 2 and the other survivors obviously don't care.

A change on the struggle phase shouldn't be done to prevent people giving up. Sometimes I'm hooked and I get camped, or see the others doing gens or staying hidden even if the killer leaves me, letting me reach stage 2 on my first hook. In these cases I stop struggling and I don't want it to change.
Anyway, survivors' thumbs could get some rest if the struggle was only holding a button/key, not tapping, or if the automatic struggle was implemented with a "give up" option by pressing a button/key.
-
That should be part of the supposedly ongoing solo survivor buff imo.
-
An Alien chapter would make me like "Shut up and take my money"
-
It happened to me yesterday, we were two or three survivors (thanks to a shroud) in the terror radius right at the start.
-
If you derank and you're really good, you'll have all iri except chase, which would be at silver, and you'll double pip.
Just don't instadown even if your killer can.
-
I don't even try, I tap the gen until ruin is gone.
I believe those squat exercises will help me lose the killer when he chases me.
-
They won't change the trophy description (basically getting 2 pips) anytime soon.
The only way it could be made easier would be by changing how you get 2 pips.
As the ranking system is to be reviewed (it's on the devs roadmap), there's still hope.
That said, adepts are not as hard as I thought when I started a few months ago. It comes naturally, just make sure to avoid situations that are not good for emblems:
-Don't hook people found in lockers (it's bad for chase and brutality), leave them and let them be healed. Go patrol gens instead.
-Don't instadown (or use purge on healthy survivors for Plague)
-Don't stay close to hooked people unless a chase is going on
-Don't kill (counts as a sacrifice but you lose a hook stage)

Id agree with you if it wasnt for the fact that Overcharge's skillcheck is the only skillcheck in the game that wont auto-fail if you start moving. You can hit that bad boy while being like 10 feet away from the gen, lol. Only real downside is if you need to vault a window or something, so you hit spacebar for THAT, lol.
You're totally right.
Just said Overcharge is the best we have, though it's clearly not a perfect solution.
-
Overcharge is surely the best counter as for now, but I like the idea of a 2 sec progress bar before the regression is stopped.
As said before by C3Tooth, it would be consistent with unhooking, kicking, destroying pallets, cleansing...
(PS : gen tapping to counter Ruin is ok imo)
-
I was called a (f***ing) camper playing killer because 3 survivors were turning around their hooked friend. They were all 3 there and they expected me to go to the other side of the map ?
Also I was called a gen camper as survivor by another survivor who was caught for his 3rd hook very very far from me. So I finished the last gen, escaped by the exit gates and received a salty message.
-
It makes sense for bloodpoints because everything is calculated from the base BPs.
But in this case this is not logical. If Iron Will shuts your noise to 0, Stridor shouldn't amplify anything.
That's why it's important to understand how the perks stack instead of trying to figure it out from the description (unfortunately)
-
Nancy, Steve (Ahoy particularly) and Claudette. They make me insane, just don't know why.
But Claudettes tend to loop me like hell.
I also often target Lauries as I usually catch them more easily than others.

There are people who don't know that?
I didn't until I play Pig as killer and read her power description. There may be more than you think.
-
I don't expect anything big but I wish they'd fix the buggy trophies.
I'm satisfied by the game as it is and don't demand any survivor/killer nerf or mechanics change.
-
It depends on how you want to play.
PGTW and Overcharge are great to counter gen repairs.
BBQ is great for detection and BP farming.
If everyone comes in with items, Franklin's demise is a must have.
But please everyone stop calling everything and anything toxic ! Blinding and gen rushing is part of the game, survivors have to do it to achieve their goal (escape) and killers must find ways to counter it.
-
Setting a matchmaking penalty for DCing too much is a really good idea.
Disabling matchmaking only for 15 minutes would be dissuasive for many people, as there are numerous alternatives. (edit : the timer should only run in the offline lobby)
Personnaly if I want/need to leave the game as a survivor, I suicide on hook, so I don't loose my bloodpoints. And if I just need to be AFK for a short time I hide in a locker.
-
The first thing I learnt as a survivor (beyond tutorial stuff) was that there's two types of totems, and that one is related to hex perks. Sure it wasn't to look back in chase, I only started that after a few months.
As a killer, it was lunge attack. I never had hooked anyone before.
-
You started it, don't complain.
-
Just run small game and blast the hex
If you don't, you can still tap the gen. It' s slower but safe.
-
Thanks your for posting that, it's a bit of releif among all the whinning (on both sides)
My answer is brave and impatient : my loadout is ready before I search a match and is basically always the same for each killer. I hit ready as soon as I get in the online lobby (even if I'm alone) and I ready on and off if they're taking too long. That's my pre-game teabagging way.

Where is the keyhole on the hatch
Considering the design of the door, it's there. You can see a tiny gray point that might be a keyhole.
Anyway, I don't think adding this ability to keys would be a good thing.
If there's 3 or 4 survivors still alive after the 5 gens are completed, they will probably escape even if the gates are close to each other so there's no point.
If it's a 2vs1 or a 1vs1, well the survivors have failed so finding the hatch is the least they should do to deserve escape.

Where is the keyhole on the hatch
EDIT : sorry, double post

It can't be, because the gate has no keyhole.

Illogical but technically possible

That's called Overcharge.
That's quite right but it would be a "light" overcharge. Normal skill check and no additional regression on failure.
-
There should be an immediate skill-check when a survivor returns to a damaged gen.
If succeded, the regression stops, then the survivor may leave the gen or keep reparing it.
If failed, try again or leave but the gen will still regress.
Edit: I play both killer and survivor, and even as a survivor I think it would be a good thing.

They could just easily change the description I agree. That couldn't be too hard.
There's a ranking rework on the Dev's roadmap, so it may result in getting merciless more easily.
Anyway I hope they will change it to 4 sacrifices / kills.
It wouldn't be the first time they change a trophy requirement : "Deranged Pursuit" was changed after Legion's rework because it required to down a survivor in Feral Frenzy, which is no longer possible.
Otherwise getting merciless with neither add-on nor non-specific perk is a real pain.
I only managed to have 4 iridescent with Legion (epic trial by the way) but it's the only adept I got as I started this game after the ranking change.
