No killer with half of a brain expects to 4k every match. It's not the fact of wanting to 4k every game it's having the tools to be able to not every killer has that, unless the Survivors are bad, this "oh stop expecting 4ks every game" is a dumb strawman made up by Survivor mains. Once again it's having the ability if you're good enough to be able to, I mean you can outplay Survivors at every loop, however, if they're efficient on gens there's nothing you can do and I don't think that's fair, no matter how much people say "just pressure gens" it doesn't take away the fact that if Survivors are efficient there's not much you can do, no matter how much you pressure, I mean ruin&undying helps a lot but efficient Survivors will cleanse that and then you've got 2 perks for the rest of the game with default gen regression which, well let's face it you might aswell not even bother wasting time kicking.

It's not the devs' fault that Survivors aren't scared anymore. Many people have simply played too long and have become cynical or trolls.
And you completely lost me when you brought up Moris. Nerfing them is the best game health change they've made in years.
Lastly, the game is easier than it ever has been for Killers. Aside from the Mori change, idk what all this "Survivor-friendly" talk is about. If they really wanted to favor Survivors, they wouldn't have released Spirit, Deathslinger, Pyramid Head, etc.
I'm sorry I dont agree it all. The only time the game was easier for killer was with old ruin, it seems like majority of the Survivor community have upped their game and I say this because pop and BBQ was once a viable combination but in today's meta it's just not. That's why ruin & undying is seen all the time, ruin does so much more than pop ever can imho

The only thing that bothers me, is whether people want to admit it or not, the Devs favour the Survivor fun more than the killer. I mean all it takes is for the Survivor main community to complain about something 9/10 times it happens. It will be the same with undying it will be nerfed sooner or later and it's looking like the same with Freddy, hopefully it's nothing to major. I once had a debate on Twitter that keys aren't as bad as Moris lmao

This is just further confirmation how ignorant they are to the high level play. BL can be the difference to getting a down against good Survivors and them putting the pallet down and getting to the next loop. If they fix map size and stop creating strong loops that we have to waste time breaking a wall to prevent then, removing BL doesn't matter.

I play survivor regularly, daily. That's why I am so aware of what it's like on both sides. Do you ever play killer?
Did you even test the changes in the ptb with a team of people testing the changes? Because I did. So did several twitch streamers. So did several other people. Why are you so far behind on the news?
The buffs to the toolbox wasn't a 50/50 speed increase, and charge decrease. It was a huge increase to speed, and a smaller decrese to charges. So you get more progression from a generator from a full toolbox than you did before. That's worse for the issue of gen's going too fast in a game.
Losing add-ons doesn't matter when you would get 4-5 wire spool, and socket swivels before finding your next commedius on the bloodweb, or do you not know how the bloodwebs work either?
If you fail to have even a basic knowledge to the game, why are you responding in the first place? Do you even play this game?
What the hell are you talking about?
did you even read my reply? Do you even understand English? Nothing you even mentioned correlates to what I even said!
I'm not talking about the speed or any of that, I'm talking about that you mentioned you get to keep your items as long as you escape even if you use all your charges, which is nonsense because as I said, I'll repeat it again for you, most survivors 99 their item anyway and as long as you escape you keep it, I'm not sure what's so hard to understand.
Yes I do play killer I get to rank 1 in both survivor and killer every season.

Yeah finishing 3 gens and almost 4 before killers can walk across large maps is deffiently a good change for killers. Insta heals is back, been loving the DS plays from that. Wow I can literally control the killer's entire objective like a GOD by using 1 perk and an alex's toolbox, and wanna know the best part? I won't lose that purple when I escape.
But you know what. Better not let that Hangman's Trick through. It would give Killer a slightly better chance of doing well in a trial, and we all know if you can't bully the killer - then you are not having fun.
Do you ever play survivor? The change to items makes no difference at all, you just get 1-2 extra charges from your item, I use to just 99 my item and id keep it if I escaped anyway, the only difference being you lose add-ons which is fair enough

Same. A little bummed that I've bought cosmetics, but I'd just move on to several other games. I would miss the asymmetrical aspect of it all the most. But I agree, it's not really fun anymore. This ruin change is like putting the game on ultra ez mode. There's no early game pressure that a non-billy/spirit has anymore, can just pound through gens and escape. In the past, I would have mentioned nurse, but seeing a (good) nurse is urban legend these days.
Also in the same boat about Tome 2. I really don't like how it's changed the game within the game. Especially queue'ing in solo, everyone just pops in to do their specific challenge and peaces out. Also not a fan of feeling like I "have" to play DBD, especially when I had several nights in Tome 1 where I'd get a whopping 8 games in 3 hours.
Doesn't matter much though anymore. This game belongs to new players now
Finally, someone who has the same opinion as me, I said this about ruin in a Facebook group and I got called all sorts of names and made fun of, saying how oh you can still go for great skill checks blah blah. to be honest I don't think anyone had the brain capacity to understand what I meant. I know doing gens has never been difficult but it was somewhat of a little challenge with ruin

Again, I don't mean to say that nothing should be done, but you can't know how much needs to be done when the supposed issue is being hidden by a perk. It's hard to say for sure. While yes, a lot of people use it, there's also killers out there who don't use it and still do just fine. Adding extra time to objectives would only stand to be a massive buff to them.
I've seen the gas suggestion a few times. I'm a bit of a fan, personally, but my only concern is that it removes points of contention from the game. Right now, if I'm not chasing a survivor, I know I can go between generators until I find someone. If I instead have to search every inch of the map looking for people who might be scavenging for gas as well, suddenly I lose my best way to find survivors.
I don't agree at all, you can still patrol gens because if they're finding the gas they're going to need to bring it to the gens to fill them up.

We are not. We have mentioned multiple times that if something needs to change about gen times, we're happy to take a look into it. Unfortunately we cannot do that when 80% of red ranked killers are using a perk that covers it up- it makes it impossible to tell what actually needs to be done. We'll keep an eye on it.
If you know red rank killers are using it, then you'd know that gen speed can be really fast, even with ruin and most games it doesn't even last longer than a minute. But when it does, it can be the difference between winning and losing cause the survivors waste time looking for it, when with the new ruin, why would they ever need to look for it?

Maybe you should read AND understand the whole post before making assumptions. If it is too difficult, I can make my awesome Paint Skills work and draw a comic for you.
Don't condescend me, you halfwit, I did read the full post thank you, I understood it perfectly. It seems you don't understand though, yes, they can hit great skill checks however, even a great skill check with ruin up doesn't increase the gens progress incase you wasn't aware. pop is only useful after you hook someone and if the game is over in 3-5 minutes, against good survivors you're not going to get many hooks during the game before all the gens are done. it's clear you're a killer who's never played against sweaty survivors who can finish all 5 gens in like 4 minutes

Yes, quite frequently. I even stream myself playing it.
What rank do you play at? Because all these changes seem to be for like rank 12 and below.

"Corrupt and Pop are the next best thing. This is a bad change, because most Killers lack EARLY game pressure, not late game."
Corrupt and PGTW are better anyway. Especially PGTW makes so much more difference than Ruin in High Ranks. In High Ranks people can hit great Skill Checks, the impact of Ruin is not really relevant.
Furthermore, early game pressure... The most pressure is done by actively chasing people off Gens. People should really stop thinking about the first Gens, it is only logical that those are the fastest, because nobody needs to get saved, nobody is being chased, Survivors are at their strongest.
If there are less Gens to patrol and some /or even all) ressources are gone, the Killer will have a way easier time than at the start of the Trial.
Furthermore, this might shift the Meta for Killers. It is annoying to see all Slowdown the whole time, instead of trying to apply pressure via chases and fast tracking.
Looks like we found the survivor main who can't hit great skill checks. Are you honestly complaining about ruin being used too often? What are you rank 13 or below? Yeah even if they can hit great skill checks it still helps more than not having ruin and some high rank survivors can't always hit them 100% of the time and will spend time trying to find it and could run into the killer while doing so, also hitting a great skill check with ruin up doesn't progress the gen as opposed to not having ruin where it progresses a few seconds or so. It also can last the whole game sometimes or it can last 10 seconds, it's high risk/reward type thing.

I think Any stealth killer that can move at 115% or even faster in wraiths case, is strong. sloppy and nurses is really strong on stealth killers cause you can leave them alone and 'bump' into them a little later and more often than not, they're healing behind a rock or behind a wall somewhere.
