The only things that would need to be decided is A: if both survivors and killers can only carry a max of 1 serum at a time (I think yes). B: if there would be a penalty to using the serums (screen could get more orange every time you used it making it harder to see with each use, and/or you start to drip orange glowing serum more and more with each use making you more visible) and C: if the pustulas would spawn in like I mentioned or if they didn’t refill instead just 1 active pustula would spawn in a random location every few minutes so by the end of a long match the map would be littered with active and drained plants. (I think this would be cool. It could be frustrating to have to run around everything but on the flip side it would make great variability from one match to the next. I could see it being a problem if in a chase one spawned right in your way but on the flip side to that it would be awesome if one spawned behind you but in front of the killer in a chase. It would also make some sense lore wise since the serum gives the blight his power and more pustulas = more serum, meaning more things for the blight to bounce off of).

When you start match as blight you can see where his eyes are and where his hands are (chest height) then the camera moves to first person and his POV is in his chest behind his hands. But I have the most blatant proof of his POV being too low, if you stand with a light source above and behind and face a wall (bottom floor of house with the gen on bedham and lampkin lane, if you go down the stairs from the garage and look at the wall to the right) the blight’s shadow shows you a 1 to 1 version and you’re clearly looking from your chest. If they want to keep his POV height they need to make him shorter as it stands now it’s awkward and obviously not right
-
More survivors need to use it. The more that have it in a match the more powerful it becomes

His base speed needs to be reduced slightly. He can teleport across the map. Meanwhile the nurse crawls and can barely jump as far as I could throw the hag

my immediate thought when I get into a match on this map “o nice”. It doesn’t show up much so maybe people complaining just haven’t gotten the hang of it yet. And if you don’t realize as a killer you’re best bet is to highly pressure the three gens closest to each other no matter the map, you don’t need to try to cover the whole map constantly. There was one match I absolutely destroyed survivors as the hag on this map. Just played as a survivor on it today, turned a corner to greet a hatchet to the face from the other end of the hallway lol. Needs to be deleted? Spoiled much? All that being said you do have a point about pallets they’re pretty unsafe to vault on this map only useful for possible stuns

just decreasing perks to only 2 tiers (standard and upgraded) would make a big difference, or increase how many perks show up on the bloodweb past lvl 10. having at least 2 perks to choose between lvls 10-30 seems reasonable. Or maybe you could spend iridescent shards to upgrade perks right away

My suggestion for solo survivors https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/191306/leveling-the-playing-field-for-solo-survivors . I’m aware that solo survivors can communicate by joining up with teammates in chat outside of game, but now with crossplay this is more difficult if even possible at all for solo players playing on different systems. A while back there was a bug that caused each survivors level to be shown while grouped together before the match starts, what I suggest is much like that unintended bug, every survivors item add ons and offering should be visible to all other survivors when waiting for the match to begin. This way solo players can coordinate with each other at least somewhat when going into a match. I believe this is needed. Another thing that would be nice is if survivors perks were also shown to each other, I just don’t know if all those icons above survivors heads would get crowded and confusing. maybe a survivors perks could be shown next to each player or underneath. But this would go a long way in leveling the playing field for survivors not in constant communication with the rest of the team. Even just being able to see another survivor is using a map token so I better wait to use mine so it’s not wasted, or sometimes it’s hard to notice a survivor carrying a key into a match, if I saw someone with a purple key then I’d know that might be a good time to use my rainbow map. Stuff like that so you could be a better team even if you’re all solo players.

Nice idea, I would like to be able to choose which killer music you hear while in menus and lobby

Items are not necessary but they are extremely useful. When you find a grey toolbox use it! I agree the bloodpoint cap isn’t great where it stands now but just raise it to 9.99 million. It’s not the bloodpoint cap that makes things grindy it’s having to swim through a sea of perks to maybe find the ones you want. My suggestion Even just decreasing it to only 2 tiers (standard and upgraded) would make a big difference, or increase how many perks show up on the bloodweb past lvl 10. having at least 2 perks to choose between lvls 10-30 seems reasonable. Or maybe you could spend iridescent shards to upgrade right away. maybe a combo of all 3 of these suggestions. I like the idea of trading in unused addons, I still have all those pink ones for killers that used to allow you a chance to try out dlc killers. Here’s the original post just about removing perk tiers https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/190220/perks-shouldnt-have-tiers-anymore-change-my-mind/p1

No you are not, this happens to me. And it’s seemingly happening more frequently (I’m on ps4 also, here’s hoping the dual sense has more durable sticks and a better battery) my stick is weird if I move left so if I run up to the left I basically stop moving or if I try to juke left it’s horribly slow
My right stick is slow when looking left, my left stick does what was originally said, when running forward if I move left or right slightly to change directions like you kno when in a chase. I almost come to a full stop for a moment

a dlc based on the first resident evil?

I realize you’re more talking about balancing swf against killers but I have a suggestion for balancing swf with solo survivors - https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/191306/leveling-the-playing-field-for-solo-survivors?__cf_chl_jschl_tk__=1240bb7c5684d934a00fd2d45638c6222ead4ca6-1600018270-0-AR9wQjE7Oh62BmUQjjtJf_NXmjFuwuo-P5vh__8nauAp6ws8O_N9ahkepFTN_NTTjul34MsCViUoNsfYmV9VYqaGy2mlIQ0wyj7t85yWWzFzhVhi_Akaz6o2nS89Fr3-JLxW4mRPweEE8C4OkIoTjpSrDxGWNKNQ5H-VT1aq-ncM2wywCe01SexSq_vtf7PJrVcJ5umr0S_anCLihwmf7p8GOOWgirXcsaUqmRzoB-_8ZuYJLPwD2KZR5mEPVKODPt9Fi9rOtafOOL3QYVk22Na0u6rDXHc01NIrn9AeGHF0gxESUvw0Svn0NUDHTWrm7v7Dzww-5aNe9G0rqwO4vjfYluem1Aav_oEKBi1Wb81tLXUTbFqQizR6XQoMfRJGQD-j2EisJu2a6lhquTvfhRDszyFlc5SNbdsVUVBmSvDr#latest

To be fair that’s the POV from the killers eyes while crouched. While the blights POV is somewhere from on his chest, that needs to be fixed, and his POV doesn’t change when using his power even tho he stands up taller when it’s in use
-
Just make perks standard and upgraded, 2 tiers. Or maybe you could spend iridescent shards to upgrade right away. Or Maybe make the bloodweb have at least 2 perks show up every level after 10. Or maybe a combo of all 3 of these suggestions

Might I add a piece of sage advice from 44 years ago “Breakdown, go ahead and give it to me. Breakdown, honey, take me through the night. baby, baby, breakdown. Breakdown, now I'm standin' here, can't you see? Breakdown, it's all right. It's all right. It's all right”

Honestly though, like controllers are not cheap and I know I'm not the only person to have had this problem

Lol well it would make me feel a bit better. That is kinda the only point, there’s just those times when another survivor is just a bad teammate (mocking you while you’re hooked while refusing to unhook, staying along the edge of the map doing nothing the whole game) it’d be nice to have a button to push when frustrated lol
-
Many people might suggest kindred, but if the killer camps you on hook the other survivors will see this and will probably be less likely to free you, since they can do gens safely while being able to see exactly where the killers is across the map. My suggestion is use breakdown so even if you’re immediately downed you can’t be just immediately hooked again. Breakdown is really useful even when you’re not being camped since once unhooked you can see killers aura for a few seconds giving you the info to usually get away. The more survivors who use breakdown, the more useful it becomes
-
How do they expect 4 ppl to use the same map offering to cancel out the new offering added with the update if survivors don’t know what offerings there teammates are gonna play
-

Agreed, I used to have boil over on all my survivors but it was really only useful at tier 3 and combined with breakdown. hook breaks when you’re unhooked, then if killer gets you right after they would waste time bringing you back to the same hook thinkin that boil over was just hiding the hooks aura, only realizing the hook was actually broken after wasting time carrying you back to broken hook. With hooks so plentiful and close together now, even after they waste time carrying you to broken hook there’s usually multiple hooks close by the killer still has enough time to get different hook. Needless to say boil over is no longer being used by me. But I still love breakdown, really wish every survivor would use it, instead of frickin self care. There is still times where I’ve almost wiggled free that I wish I had boil over lol but those times are few and far between and is usually at the end of a match when 2 to 3 hooks are already broken from sacrificed survivors. I will say I think boil over has a hidden power where sometimes you wiggle free before filling up the bar, which is always a nice surprise but that’s just it you never know if you’ll get lucky or just be wasting a perk slot.

I’d bet the Oni gets released on dec. 10th

Im not the only one.
