So If the killer gets to the hatch before you and closes it, but you have the key you can reopen it and escape, correct?

Yeah sorry I should have said "rank." I've had gaps in rank before, but not to this extreme and for 60% of my matches.

I've had lots of instances where I'm spamming the X button to struggle and my finger slips and I die on the hook. Then, there have been instances where a killer is camping/tunneling and I'm not going to struggle so I can feed him/her. I don't think there should be a punishment for not struggling on the 2nd hook. Of course, I also don't think there should be a penalty for dying on the 1st hook either. I've died on the 1st hook plenty of time because people either don't bother to come save me or they get there too late especially when I'm on the opposite side of the map as all the others. I understand that the other survivors may all have the same mentality of well I'm busy with this this gen, let someone else get him and by the time they figure out no one is coming to help it's too late. Sometimes I wish they had matches with specifications such as a match where it's a requirement for all to equip Kindred.

I can understand how it can get on people's nerve to hear people complain excessively about camping and tunneling. I just made my first post today about my experience after playing just a few months. I understand that in some instances, they can be legit strategies. However, it wouldn't bother me so much if I experienced camping/tunneling once in awhile. It is what it is and you move on. I dealt with it fine for awhile. The problem for me is how often it happens and it's becoming more and more frequent especially since the update. I prefer playing as a survivor and when you get a good game, it's fun and a nice way to unwind after a long day. But, getting camped/tunneled from start for no good reason for most of your matches can really get on your nerves. I suppose the best suggestion someone gave me is to put the game down at that point & play something else.

I appreciate the suggestions and feedback. I love being a survivor. I'm a huge horror fan and have always loved the chase. Of course, it was so much easier in F13. I could last way longer when the killer focused all his attention on me. I am starting to practice a lot more as the killer though. The easiest one for me is The Hag. I haven't used him much, but I've leveled Leatherface up because I eventually want the high BP gains from BBQ.
