  • Legion, Doctor (even the old one), and sometimes Spirit seem to fit me like a handmade glove. I've only played Oni a few times, but he fits me like a wood chipper so far. I'll never forget lunging in his power and hitting consoles in the lab that were below my field of view. That experience shattered me.

  • If you open a chest in the game without Pharmacy, get a brown toolbox, and repair a generator with it, I think you either get refunded your time or end up with a time deficit. It is no longer worth looting a chest unless you have chest perks or really need a medkit. I also used to run chest perks, but since toolboxes are essentially bust, I might abandon that fun build for something more meta... which I didn't want to do.

  • He's pretty fun to play against so far, though most haven't gotten aiming with him down yet. Dodging his shot is more rewarding than with Huntress, because you aren't immediately hit afterwards anyway.

  • It's not a great idea... Don't do it in general, unless you know it to be the smart thing to do...

  • ...It sounds like you're asking humans to not be humans... There's only so much the devs can do. Have you ever played an asymmetrical game before? People are always going to feel like they lost. This is just whining, not constructive.

  • My experience with Bamboozle is that it has gotten me a decent amount of much easier downs or hits than I would have gotten without it. Mostly just because of the faster vaulting, which catches survivors off guard. The blocking off of windows is kind of an extra benefit. But I'm not exactly an authority on it's overall effectiveness.

Coulrophobia isn't exactly an inspiring perk name for creative effects... Just throwing an idea at the wall here:

Coulrophobia - Survivors in your terror radius for more than 5 seconds cannot be healed from the injured state in any way other than being healed by other survivors until they leave your terror radius.

This would counter last second self-caring to no longer be injured during a chase while a killer breaks pallets or using medkits in the same way, and would serve as a partial counter to the quite powerful Inner Strength. It would also serve as a counter to the Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe, if you were afraid of a toxic SWF with a bunch of medkits, kinda like Lightborn works for Flashlight groups. It'd also make Autodidact a potential counter to it, which I think would be nice. Haven't thought it all the way through, though.

I don't want more free aura reading for survivors. They get enough free information as it is. Giving premonition aura reading is overkill.

Fixated should work while injured but to a lesser extent. Hard to focus (the literal meaning of fixated) when your intestines are hanging out of your stomach.

I like the idea of lucky break resetting on hooks. Hiding blood at all times with no trade off however is a busted perk.

I don't like the idea of anything infinitely stacking, but I do think that stakeout should have a higher cap. You do have to actually do something for the stacks so I think they should stack higher.

What this person said. Absolutely no to aura reading on Premonition. It'd be even better than Spine Chill.

Stakeout should have a higher cap, but it shouldn't be infinite. I can already imagine an immersed Claudette trying to follow the killer around all game hoping to meme by super-speeding the last generator with 15 or so stacks. I say no thanks to that experience, both as killer and fellow survivor.

  • It's interesting. I think I like it, but buffing Buckle Up is an easy way to my heart. It'd have interesting synergy with Fixated, too.

keys have to get removed, I think 3 hooks are too much rn because of the "second chance" perks, there are tons of issues with this game and it is pretty irritating not gonna lie all I see is borrowed time, DS, adrenaline, unbreakable, dead hard, meanwhile we as killers have to come and pay money buy killers to get their teachable perks aka pop goes the weasel or wait until you get it from the shrine I want to have fun not to have a chore on my list and pay while I'm at it as well

You seriously just said that you think survivors should only have to be hooked twice? Wow. Just wow.

  • The idea for Cruel Limits is just absolutely terrible. It would be the best slowdown perk since old Ruin, maybe even better. Imagine it combining with new Ruin... Total devastation for the other 2 survivors that had their generators at 90%+. Even if it didn't kick people off generators it'd still be strong.

Small game is common sense and is absolutely needed.

I think you're onto something with Monstrous Shrine though. Not bad.

  • "generators hit directly by a bottle will begin to regress" No to base kit. Yes to add-on with possible other minor effects.

"survivors hit directly by 2 bottles will become Confused and their movements will be inverted" Dunno if you're on keyboard or controller, but this would just be a nightmare on keyboard. I genuinely doubt I could ever get used to this. It makes sense logically, but it totally violates comfort more than any other mechanic in the game. Maybe this could still be done with the high cost of 2 direct hits in fairly rapid succession, but this mechanic would require a lot of care to implement fairly, if it's possible. Other possibilities may be better.

This Bamboozle is too strong for all the loops it shuts down without the killer doing anything. I don't think Bamboozle needs adjustment, honestly.

Coulrophobia does need a change in my opinion. I don't love this one, but I don't hate it either. I think I do hate the idea of it being on a Doctor with a max terror radius build and on the Game map.

I gotta say I do love the general idea of the two power options for Clown, one to buff himself and another to debuff survivors. It fits his lore better than his 1 power at the moment. Choosing between travel mode and chase mode is a unique fix for his lack of map pressure, and you deserve credit for that creativity. The most necessary change to accompany this idea is a change to his terror radius music. A slow, half-broken record of carnival music for Afterpiece mode, and a sped up, creepily clean version of the carnival music for Interlude mode.

  • Seiko is right about the terribleness of redundant or niche perks like Buckle Up and Cruel Limits, but Fallen is even more right about how no one would like the replacement for DS. Ideally, we would simply not get new perks until the current perks are closely balanced in viability, and then new perks could be introduced that offer carefully balanced choices. Unfortunately, that won't happen because this game needs to pump out new content to make money, so there isn't sufficient time for care.

I'm not actually for "keeping the meta steady," I'm about shaking up the meta by fixing the already existing yet terrible perks like Autodidact and No Mither and making them decent.

  • I'm going to have to join the Clown posse here for the reasons already shared. He's not far from being a Huntress who throw pillows instead of hatchets.

I'll also join the fledgling gang saying Legion is fine. When I'm against him, it's nice to know that being chased at the start of the game doesn't necessarily mean he tunnels me onto a hook me from the get go. He also tends to be an indirect buff to the terrible Autodidact, so I heart him for that. He tends to be unfun to play against when the other survivors insist on self-caring, but that's Claudette's fault, not Legion's. When I'm playing as him, I enjoy pinballing from survivor to survivor, treating survivors like timed batteries I have to get to and hit before time runs out. I enjoy that he genuinely plays a bit different from other killers.

  • We already have a soldier.

Speaking of Bill, Civil Duty is a more specialized but also unstoppable form of Borrowed Time. In some situations, you'd just flat out deny a killer the possibility of a kill. It'd be toxic as hell. It's a no from me.

Kilroy seems fine, I guess? Not sure what purpose it serves that wouldn't be better served by Aftercare, Bond, or Empathy. Except to find locker Dwights and sandbag them. Have a hard time imagining it being used.

Offensive Push: Basically exists to help body block? Combine with Breakout for maximum effect. This I think might be the most decent perk suggestion here. I'd probably have to nerf the 24m to 16 meters or less, though.

  • Nope. I've played with toxic survivors like that before. They love it when you get so angry that you get tunnel vision for them, and will laugh at how pathetic you are while they are hanging on the hook as their team knocks out all the generators. They will also laugh if you don't hook them. Literally everything they do and don't do is "toxicccccc" and hilarious. They win no matter what using child-like logic that whatever your reaction, it's the reaction they were hoping for. The only thing you can do where they aren't winning, is brush it off and try to enjoy yourself despite the game you're having.

  • You are absolutely right in my opinion, but also why are you making this announcement? It's all chill.

  • My default loadout as a survivor is Plunderer's Instinct, Ace in the Hole, Pharmacy, and a usually good perk like Unbreakable in the last slot.

You tell me, am I competitive?

  • Be able to level up killer bloodwebs while queuing for a match as survivor.

  • You must be new. Complaining about Clown will get your opinion flatly dismissed. He's one of the worst killers. Sorry you feel he's too fast, but this is one of those cases where you're going to need to get good or at least get perspective.

  • No one. People generally have a pretty strong grasp on killer tiers, I gotta say.

Except for whoever thought Plague needed a buff. Those people were insane, imo.

  • The design philosophy behind the rift seems economic rather than game-health based.

Economically, it makes sense to make the later challenges very difficult/impractical. More difficult = less completion = fewer rift fragments = fewer reward tiers unlocked = more incentive to buy the battlepass so you get rewards more easily.

If the rift was made to increase game health, the challenges would all be more like tier 1 or 2, encouraging players to vary from their staple meta perks, and to vary their playstyles, but each individual challenge would be relatively easily accomplished.

  • This would be a slight buff to No Mither, and therefore will not be considered.

  • Not play it. Find another game or hobby to enjoy, until there's more to do or until playing the game itself sounds fun enough to want to do it.

  • No one has mentioned that Kindred is S tier yet? The word has yet to spread... excellent. Now to play killer before word gets around.

  • The Doctor is my man, and needs no buffs. He's perfect the way he is now. Ideally, every killer would be brought down/elevated to his viability. Shocking is a great way to pass the time in a chase, and with the right add-ons/perks it pays off down the line with finding someone you've hooked later or forcing them to waste equal time coming out of Tier 3 madness, and even once they do Tier 2 madness is still useful. Shocking as vault/pallet denial takes time and patience to learn, but that's what makes it perfect, as opposed to how Nurse was. Sure, you have to get a little lucky or play really well to get a 4K, but it's far from impossible and that's how it should be anyway. If you think shocking is a waste of time and a non-power, you don't understand when to shock and when to not.

On another note, I don't know who is at the absolute worst, but it's insulting that so far more people think Wraith is worse than Trapper. Wraith's mobility alone puts him clearly above Trapper, add to that the fact that Wraith doesn't really spend much time looking for survivors, and there you go. Sure, Trapper can have some loop/pallet denial, but it costs him a lot of time, and you have to hope people aren't going to disarm your traps after you walk away.

Trapper, Legion, Bubba, and Clown are definitely the bottom 4, with Pig probably next in line. Those 5 need to be brought up, while Hillbilly, Spirit, possibly Hag, and IMO Huntress (damn omnidirectional humming), need to be brought down. No clue about new Nurse yet.

  • I agree with some of the others here. Her traps shouldn't be more lethal. It sucks as a survivor when you die from a trap due to absolutely no fault of your own, and increased lethality would just make that more common. This coming from someone who has been maining her for a couple weeks. Not to mention that the Pig would actually suffer from less bloodpoints if people died faster.

What she needs is the Rule Set #2 base kit buff, and a massive reworking of her addons so that more than 4(ish) of them are useful. She should get the next pass after Nurse.
