After seeing the survey (I think it gives an idea as to what BHVR is LOOKING at), I'm genuinely shocked Amnesia didn't make the games category as an option. So that's one license I'd go stupid for in the game, the only thing I can really see 'holding it back' is that Daniel is never seen in third person, though he does have a confirmed appearance I'm pretty sure. It's also possible Frictional may not want to do crossovers, they have always been more focused on genuine psychological horror, and I'm not sure if they want that to be affected by crossovers.
Other options I'd like:
- Akira
- Cry of Fear (I really just like Simon as a character, and it'd be cool to see some indie horror)
- 28 Days Later (I really just want to play as Jim, can't think of a unique enough killer that you couldn't get from say, a TWD chapter)
- Bioshock
- Original Alone in the Dark (It'd be so weird it'd be funny)
- Portal (More Valve content please)
- Alien
- The Thing
Not asking for all of them, but 1 or 2 of them would be dope, but I'll realistically take anything interesting, I am not impressed by predictability.
--
Adding this on through an edit, but The Mummy would also be cool.

I forgot most of her addons, but I think most of the really messed up ones have been fixed (if not I guess fix her addons?). Otherwise, honestly, her power would be fine, just give the survivors some sort of cue to be able to tell where the spirit will be coming from or just some actually useful info without the use or need for perks.
I dunno if you'd really call it her 'kit' it's mostly just people asking for more information when she phases.

As someone who plays The Pig a LOT, a few thoughts -- other Pig players experience with her will obviously vary, but there's always more than one way to play successfully.
-- You're gifted with an innate in-game slowdown in the form of your traps, so use them. Some Pig players like to save them, but I start busting them out immediately. Nothing worse than having the last gen pop, and you still have a trap left that's been rendered useless. Survivors will, for the most part, start searching boxes immediately, even if their trap isn't active, so that's a survivor that's NOT working on a generator. That slowdown is invaluable in a game where gens can go by so quickly.
-- That said, additional slowdown perks for gen regression are useful, if almost necessary. Corrupt paired with Pop can work, though Pop can be unreliable at times. Even though she's not a high mobility killer, I will run Ruin paired with Undying -- again, once a survivor has a trap on, particularly an active one, they won't be looking for your totem. I tend to run Surveillance with her as well, and I get a TON of use out of it with Ruin (as long as the totems stay up). I run BBQ with her mainly to reduce the BP grind, but Enduring is a 4th good perk (since you'll be eating through pallets, or Save The Best For Last (since you can save stacks by using your Ambush Attack on the Obsession). Sloppy Butcher isn't bad either, as survivors who take longer healing won't be searching boxes or working on gens. Any additional slowdown you can get is good for you.
-- Stealth is not her strength, but it still can be useful. Her terror radius doesn't go away immediately like Ghostface, and after you uncrouch, there's a brief period that it takes to come back. She moves painfully slow while crouched, so while it's okay to use it to move around, you have to be selective -- you don't want to be crossing the entire map while crouched. I get a lot of cheeky hits using her crouch to stealth back to a generator that Surveillance tells me someone has jumped back on. You don't have to use her Ambush attack in those instances -- using her stealth simply to get close to a survivor and in position to land a hit is often enough. There are many matches where I barely use her stealth at all and are still successful with her.
-- Her ambush attack is underrated at loops that aren't large ones. If you can break line of sight -- and even better if you can get into the pallet -- you can turn it into a no-win for the survivor if they hesitate and don't run immediately away. Here's a great example of how I'll land that type of hit:
You can also FAKE using her Ambush Attack as well, since her roar telegraphs it (something that it would be nice if that would be changed down the line). You can crouch and snort, faking that you're charging the Ambush Attack, then immediately pop back up after a survivor has run from what might have been a safe tile for them.
-- Her best add-ons are the Combat Straps, which are a common that reduce her crouch time, and either the Video Tape (an uncommon that reduces the time it takes to charge the Ambush Attack and the cooldown if you miss) or the Last Will (which gives you a 5th trap). If you're feeling particularly spicy, the Tampered Timer/Crate of Gears is deadly, if for no other reason than only the most experienced survivors will realize you're running it before someone dies (if they notice that you're putting the trap on them slightly quicker than normal). I've had survivors die to the TT simply because they got healed off of hook with an active trap and got pushed off of a box somewhere along the way. Her other add-ons are not really anything to write home about.
-- Speaking of traps, the best way to start a round is to get a down and a trap on a survivor's head before the 1st gen pops. If you can do that, you'll have immediate pressure on. While it might be tempting to chase after a trapped survivor, that's NOT the way to play her. The trap IS the pressure, not you chasing after the person who's trapped. RNG can sometimes be cruel -- it's frustrating to see everyone getting their traps off immediately -- but that's still time they have to do something OTHER than work on a gen, which gives you additional time to get the downs you need to win.
-- The exception to the above rule is when you come across someone on a Jigsaw box, it's always worth it to harass them off of it, even if you don't commit to chasing them. They lose all progress on the box, and if it chases them all the way to another box somewhere else, even better. If, while chasing someone, you run across someone searching a box who's injured, downing them and continuing your chase can provide a ton of pressure. Don't camp boxes -- not only is it a waste of time for you, but it's bad form to do so, and you'll just end up watching all the gens get done while you're doing so.
-- Finally, players are going to want to meme with you when you play The Pig. I honor every Boop of the Snoot by letting that person live -- I've even let whole teams farm who are willing to Boop out the gate -- but that's not a requirement. If you don't want to meme with your survivors, a quick attack will let them know you mean business, lol.
I'm not an "expert" by any measure, but I have played hundreds of rounds as her, and I've made it to Rank 1 playing the majority of matches as her. She can compete, even against very good survivors, and she's a lot of fun to play. My YT channel (the video clip above is on it -- the channel is here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCODC_RYe0z8yDnIFlmW-TmA) has well over 100 matches on it if you'd like to see how many of my Pig matches go (just don't look at my earliest ones -- I've only been playing a year, and I still have a LOT to improve on, lol) . If you want to see somewhat occasionally competent Pig play, you'll have plenty to see there.
The best Pig player I know of is a player by the name of Scorpionz -- he has a whole Pig guide on his channel (here -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UOlX6azR3A&ab_channel=Scorpionz). While I don't follow everything he says to do, I think there's more than one way to play the Pig successfully, and I have learned a lot watching him (particularly about using the Ambush Attack successfully). If you want to play the Pig, it's a must to checki him out, as he's continually at Rank 1 playing her and playing her well.
Hope some of that helps -- and good luck playing The Pig! 🙂
I like playing Pig, but I also don't like it when survivors try to boop my snoot constantly. Sometimes I just wanna kill everyone man lol. I shake my head and m1 them, if I change my mind and they're still alive, I may give them hatch. I feel bad for doing that to people though lmao, but it is a reason I am hesitant to play Pig sometimes. I do enjoy the traps though, I just wish killing with them was more reliable and consistent.
I like killers who can do stuff like that, it's fun and unique but I hate relying on addons to do it.

I mean, I wouldn't complain, we should get Slenderman represented somehow first though. Personally, I find Jeff to be poorly written and goofy, and it seems weird to essentially represent a pretty amateurly written story, I do get his popularity though. I'm not saying every killer needs to be from an oscar-winning masterpiece that's absolutely terrifying, Jeff just kinda hits different with how it's written to me.
He would fit on Legion though, but me personally, no I don't really want him in.

I always felt like for Pig, a cool idea would be to make the gen progression do more than just activate the bear traps. Maybe a bit extreme, but perhaps the bear traps will instakill any survivor whose trap has been activated when another gen pops. I think this further improves Pig's ability to apply the pressure with the traps. Also possibly making it so that once the first-gen is popped, the bear traps will always be activated regardless of the state of the match. They will deactivate once all gens are done, but will reactivate once the gates are opened.
In my mind, this would make a bit of an interesting dynamic, perhaps making survivors weary of when to pop a gen out of possibly killing their teammate due to bad timing.
Also, the first search for a jigsaw box will always fail. Maybe even let Pig choose which box is the correct one somehow. Just make them more consistent in general so bear traps are actually scary. I have no real ideas for this that'd work.

Darn! Almost everyone agrees that Spirits have no chill (which is a fact).
The only 'funny' thing about Spirits is hearing their aggressive screams while they keep missing their m1.

Do you mean funny as fun to play or how funny they would be when meeting them? Because Myers would probably be a lot of awkward silence.
Funniest to watch/play against as a survivor. Ideally not as the killer themselves since it's first-person, but you can go off of that too.
For example: I find Myers funny because of his animations, the idea behind his power, and his stun sound.

Myer is one of the most boring killers in the game.
Average game when I VS Myers goes like this:
Myer goes around Map with his slow movement speed trying to stalk People.
Tier 2 reached and boom there goes the first gen and he still havent started to really interact with the survivors yet.
Now he stalk to tier 3 and boom there goes Another gen or atleast its pretty close to done.
He down someone and let the slug fest begin. 2 survivors slugged. Tier 3 gone. He hook one survivor while the other one remain slugged or someone picked them up. Now if the team is good the 3rd and maybe even 4th gen will pop before he reach tier 3 again. If team is meh you will reach a stalling point where nothing really happnens. Myers try to build back tier 3 while your team are wasting time reseting eachother.
Rise and repeat.
Myers current gameplay isnt really up to date with current DBD. his too slow
I just find his stiff movements and power somewhat funny. If that's enough to make the character not funny to you, thats completely fine. Then again, I do have killers on here that I don't enjoy playing against that are ranked highly (Ghostface, Bubba).
That said, what you say is still true and I hope he gets a rework soon.
Is there any killer you find particularly funnier than the rest?

My mind: Leon and Jill
My heart: Carlos. Only Carlos.

Camping can be frustrating to deal with, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was necessary sometimes. That said, it truly does depend on the match and the state of it, I know people like to preach camping is bad and all, but sometimes walking away from the hook is the absolute dumbest thing you can do.
Same goes for tunneling and such as well (E.G teammate hooksaves a survivor and hides leaving their teammate as the only thing the killer can see at that time to maintain pressure.). If survivors are playing dumb or you see something you can exploit, it's smart to take advantage of that as long as you aren't doing it at all times and ruining the fun just to win.
Make smart decisions, not fair decisions if you want to win. You can do both, but you will have those scenarios where you have a choice and it really just depends on what you the killer want and the state of the match.

Mr. X because I find him funnier.
Jack Baker out of curiosity to see what they'd do.
Nemesis for icon status.
Lady Dimitrescu also out of curiosity, but I'm pretty sure she's taller than plague. Though reminder RE:V comes out before they reveal anything, so you can't 100% rule her out. That said, I still would be most disappointed if it were her, but not angry or anything.

The only killers that 'scare' me are: Ghostface, Pig sometimes, and Trapper.
Trapper gave me map PTSD, I always feel like I'm somehow going to step into a trap when the trial hasn't even started. When I DO step into a trap, my heart sinks. He himself doesn't scare me though.
Ghostface if they really try to grab you off generators with undetectable. It can catch me off guard. Pig for the same reason.
Myers has the potential to be freaky sometimes, but I find him way too funny to take seriously. His movements are weirdly stiff and his stun sound is amazing. Plus his power is literally looking at you, and when you combine all of that it's sort of hard to take seriously. It's extremely funny to me when it turns out a Myers has been stalking you from like 3 feet away.
Most other killers either aren't scary enough, or are just plain funny to me.

Honestly, conceptually I like it, at least from a killer standpoint. A perk that allows you to use a cool feature you basically never use/need an offering? Kinda fun, it gives information too which I like. I feel like the information aspect though is what makes me dislike it, 3 seconds? Not even auras? Not very helpful. I really want to use it on a Pig build I have planned out (Rancor, Save The Best for Last, PGTW, Knock Out/Remember Me/No Way Out).
Though at the same time, I don't like it, I've never played against someone with Rancor, but it does seem very unfair, especially if you're in a bad spot and get ######### over or just play badly. You can technically get punished by this perk just by being the obsession (though you could argue Rancor discourages the usage of perks that make it more likely to make you the obsession, it too rare a perk to have a significant effect on that), and if you're not using a perk that makes you an obsession, then you literally are just being punished for no reason if you ######### up and especially never got hooked.
Same energy as playing perfectly and never getting hooked then getting downed when the gates are opened.
TLDR
Fun as the killer, seems kinda unfair for the obsession though. Not broken or anything, just kinda like damn that's tough. Buff the information part of it though, then it could maybe become more viable. I think for those two reasons it should be reworked somehow to make it more viable+'fair'.

Love for Jeff please BHVR :(

Maybe if his power was to strip survivors of all perks and everybody was forced to play basically perkless...that’s the only way I’d consider a straight up M1 Killer.
Id play him just for the salt.
(I know this would never happen)
Sounds kinda interesting to me actually. Unfair, but interesting. This idea was suggested by a friend for killers such as Norman Bates or Jack Torrence which is what I mean by 'normal'. So the survivors also being normal would sort of make sense.

The licenses. It's really awesome when something new and iconic gets added.
The original killer's design and concepts(not gameplay) can be hit or miss but when they hit they hit for damn sure. I don't play Deathslinger, but I grew to appreciate him, he's a genuinely uniquely designed killer. Same for Huntress, Wraith, and Oni. They have really unique aesthetics and designs.
I also enjoy the diversity in the cast, representation is always nice. Though maybe not if they're a bloodthirsty psychotic killer lol.

It would still destroy the character, IT is more about supranatural horror and fear at a psychological level than just something slashing people around because reasons.
Also stuff works on IT because people overcome their fears AND believe it will work, not only because they believe it will work and once you overcome your fear of IT he is pretty much defenseless its not as simple as "I believe this pallet will stun him so it will" is more as "I have grown over my primal fear, so I dont fear this abomination anymore, for the source of ITs power no longer IT cant harm me, in fact now that he can harm me no more the hunter has become the hunted".
Also, the power would be extremely hard to develop gameplay wise, IT itself is just a huge beast (and they wont put something as big) its power is pretty much stalking people and sending mirages to make them extremely fearful and paranoid, usually using weak minded individuals to harass them, how can you implement that ingame? interactable stuff like PH is not that good and engaging (a lot of PHs dont even use the trails for they dont really have much of a purpose outside of faster hooks) and no, mind controling another Survivor isnt a good idea so cross that tought.
I see what you're getting at, but to me, I still think it doesn't really matter; no disrespect.
If I recall correctly, Freddy worked similarly in the sense that he became weaker if you didn't fear him. Not quite defenseless, but still he would lose power from it and he seems to work fine in the game. Fear gave him more control and power and he certainly doesn't work like that in the game.
The same logic applies to Pyramid Head, which I am more knowledgeable about. Pyramid Head is the literal embodiment of a man's guilt, and cannot be harmed by normal means. 'Stunned' by gunshots sure, but even they basically do nothing. He only 'died' once James faced the truth. Silent Hill has always been about psychological horror and occult horror. Plus, and this has been brought up a lot, he technically shouldn't even be a killer as he's specifically James' demon, you could argue he's in other games, but that is usually as an easter egg or cameo rather than a genuine place in the story. The devs are somewhat inconsistent as to whether or not he is only James' demon, but that simply is how most people interpret and remember him.
Regardless of how you interpret him, he is an embodiment of guilt specific to Silent Hill and he was added because he's iconic and beloved. Pretty sure the devs could make RE or Pennywise work. Don't see why other licenses wouldn't apply that here. This is imaginary Smash Bros rules all over again. It also entirely depends on how the developer feels about 'accurately' representing their game, money talks and it's quite the charmer.
Even if Pennywise is essentially a god, that doesn't mean there can't be an in-lore reason as to why it can't work. DBD isn't exactly known for complex and amazing lore, it's the horror icons.
Also still waiting for my James or Maria legendary skin. 😃

Overconfident and Rebellious Streak seem way too strong personally. As for Bonds of Brotherhood, that could work, although could end up too weak as protection hits are situational depending on the killer.
Probably true, I suck at balancing so I just focused on trying to make the perks fit the character. I like Bonds of Brotherhood the most since it feels most unique, and since you basically are never going to get 4 protection hits, if you somehow do, you deserve a full heal in my book.

DBD Akira?
Not a fan of the idea? To me, there are not many anime/manga series that would work that are horror other than Junji Ito and maybe Death Note and a couple of other series, so why not broaden the horizons a bit? Tetsuo's transformation at the end was a whole different level of body horror. Akira is iconic and the characters feel, at least to me, like they could be made into 'real' people without looking too ridiculous. Also, it'd be pretty unique and I wanna play as Tetsuo and Kaneda.
