Just a typical day in solo queue. Just like a high number of matches where nobody wants to do gens; it still boggles my mind how doing gens pose such a difficult challenge to a lot of players.

Just think about that game we had yesterday. When we were all circled around her giving council-sanctuned boops during the final moments of EGC. This is how I imagine that pig on Redwoods reacted last night. Made her night bro. Love seeing the community come together like that.
She was running from us playing Hide n Seek Pig. 🥰🥰🥰 It was the most fun I had with a killer in days. Really made me wish we had fun game modes like “Hide N Seek”, “Boop Da Snoot”, and “The Choice Is Yours”, or something like that. It was so much fun looking around trying to find her and when we did she’d quickly run off to hide somewhere else. Stuff like that is why we ❤️🐷.

I confess a rare handful of my Mandy games were relentless in the past 😭 Normally, when someone boops her snoot, I’ll be friendly and we’ll do random fun stuff in the match.
But one survivor wanted a match and pulled out all the punches on me (Flashlight clicks, teabags, flashbang). Once I caught them, they wanted to give boops but I was so into the match I said “nah, not giving it this time” and struck them down while they were trying to sobs* boop da snoot *sobs 😭 And I hooked them and their teammates were telling me no by shaking their head, they were all standing there watching me destroy their teammate. 😭 How will I ever recover from how they were just standing there like “Why Piggy.. why??”Mandy’s eyes were red that day 🐷

Same. Amanda could read me bedtime stories and I'd be all for it. Buried somewhere in the many pages of the Pen is the review I wrote immediately after seeing it. Probably for the best it stays buried there. May do another for Saw XI.

Empathy is a rare perk (pun intended) a ton of players lack. They treat others like a bot. If you play sports, you play to win, BUT you don’t play to humiliate and destroy the opposing team, especially when you’re able to gauge the opponents’ skills; the players who go in with the mindset of not wanting to enjoy winning and just WIN are the ones you’ll probably see irl wanting to avoid any competition with others their league and rather dismantle the kitty league. That guy who enjoys playing sports with kids half his size going all out; that’s their fun.

I still haven't watched Saw X...
I have heard good things about it, but I'm nervous to watch it because I haven't found a reviewer yet who I trust with regards to reviewing the plot... they all say the gore and brutality is way off the charts... but tbe srory is what mattere, and the people who made it were responsible for Saw 3D and beyond, which all annoyed me to high heaven...
I love Saw... I get especially upset when I see a bad Saw film... proper nerd fan fighting back rage tears... 😖

Saw X is pretty solid; one of the best in the series, even. I’d personally put it up there with Saw 1-3 as far as story and traps go. The whole time you kinda feel bad for the victims but then once you figure out what they do for a living you’re just rooting for John and Mandy 😂 It’s a A+ film of the Saw franchise; definitely worth a watch.

Saw X is an incredible movie, the story plot is realistic as well and is something that many can relate to having happened to them at least once in their lives, though not on the scale of John. The ending has you rooting for Mandy and Kramer. I consider it the best Saw since 1-3.
I just had to laugh at myself for a min 😂 I just thought about how funny it would be if DBD was tied into the horror movie franchises and certain characters, phrases, or actions would appear in their resectable films. Like Saw XI would have someone jokingly boop Amanda after a snarky or funny comment, or kidnap someone the victim would yell “wait, have you been tunneling me this whole time??” 😂😂😂 or in the next scream movie Ghost does a teabag at someone they’re chasing 😂

Ngl a lot of those I really didn’t notice when playing in matches since the update unless it was painfully obvious like the chase music bug because it literally makes it impossible to hear anything around you. Thanks to everyone in the videos for bringing that to our attention! I really want to check later at home and see what I may find.

Because she’s their bigg thicc syrup mama to drool over. Ngl though, her and her daughters were fun to fight against in the castle. If she were a DBD killer, her M1 is basically her long nails extensions, but her overall power would be difficult to figure out I’d assume since she didn’t have a power in 8 if I recall besides turning into some dragon lady.

Hmmm. I have felt a slight delay in that the last 3 matches I had about an hr ago. There was also the chase bug where I death hooked someone and crouched as a Nea was trying to flashlight save and the chase theme played throughout the duration of the match even when I wasn’t in a chase.

I don't play Killer enough to encounter the "4-man sweat squads" that others bemoan—I really couldn't say how common they are since recent updates. But this sentiment extends to them as well.
The massive power swing provided by perks and add-ons does not do this game many favors.
tbh, 4-man SWF ops squad is like a 1 in 20 or more. You can play the most lax killer game and still have it easy. SBMM REALLY kills my mood often when I play killer; 90% of my games as a Pig are done by the time 1 gen is even done and at that point you could ask yourself “why?” I check the hours and most of these players are barely clocking in a hundred hours or a little more. It’s disappointing. You want a GAME not a slaughter fest.

DMC is legendary! 🤩 Favorite one is probably 4, because I love Nero’s character (Bleach fan and the voice actor is Johnny Yong Bosch who voices Ichigo). DMC4, 3, 1, 5, and 2 in that order for me.
Having some time to play DBD today and receiving love for ‘Manda from a survivor is always heartwarming. 🐷
Also, just played vs this full SWF and oof my head hurt… Boil Over, Flip Flop, Breakout, Commodious Tool Box + Hacksaw, Oak, Blueprint, Gen build while the other two keep me occupied… OMG was that a crazy draining and super intense match😭 They. made. me. WORK. lol

The problem is that there are still things that survivors can do to "progress" the game while not being tunneled and still get to keep their DS. The big one right now is they can do pallet saves, and flashlight saves.
The best solution is to:
- Buff DS back to 5 seconds, hell i'll even say buff it to like 7 seconds, why not
- Add in: "Deactivates if another survivor enters the dying state"
Problem solved.
While that’s possible to do within the minute DS is active, that’s rare in higher mmr games where killers aren’t lacking awareness. Forcing a DS while actively doing a Gen was just straight up criminal.

There’s nothing wrong with DS as it punishes hard tunneling. Old DS was mad annoying as I allowed you to do gens and such, but also keep it active and survivors would force a grab off gens into a DS. 5 seconds helps newer or less-experienced survivors the most to actually have a chance to escape a tunneling killer by getting to a possibly better position for surviving longer than they would have otherwise.

3 secs really is not enough time to do much, unless you intentionally place yourself in a zone where there’s effective tiles to run and safe pallets, but even then, depending on the killer, may not even be enough. Simply reverting or lengthening the stun time would be enough to see more play, but then that’d put it right back on the watch list to nerf yet again. Balance is a tricky element in such a game as this one.

I don’t play it myself, considering it’s commonly used and I prefer not to run cookie cutter builds. But, players are allowed to use whatever build they want; if it’s available and strong, then why not use it? Because it makes someone upset? It’s not that simple. It’s going to get a nerf, of course, but until then instead of complaining and beating a dead horse, adapt your playstyle to the ever changing meta.
Like any other game that has strong mechanics/elements in it, change in playstyle and strategy is bound to happen, until the meta shifts; you get rid of one problem, and another is always there to replace it, usually worse. It’s frustrating to some players, but it’s part of the game for now. Play more efficiently and effectively and you’ll grow stronger.

I really enjoy the red theme of the cosmetics; especially Elodie’s outfit (Elo-main so it looks pretty awesome to me). The BP gain is very much appreciated; 10 games could easily set you to 2 mil BP. The mechanics of the BM event are pretty interactive, but they don’t do as much as they could’ve; Extra Lunge length for Killer and IW and LB for Survivor doesn’t seem to get utilized as much as you’d think. The atmosphere is pretty much as you’d imagine: Red, Red, Red! I personally love the color red, but for some people too much red is a hindrance to their gameplay. Overall, I feel it’s a decent-okayish(?) event; It pushes itself to live up to the event name, which isn’t too far off from that.
Though Killer mains have been extra brutal in getting straight to the 4k, shaking the Survivors of all the BP lunch money they have.

The Aura build, yeah. It’s become my favorite build for awhile now. NC is the one thing that is often spoken about by survivors post-game “why NC?” It helps more than people think, I like to apply constant pressure and injuring survivors and keeping them injured so I can pick them off one by one is a productive way of sealing the game.
Pig is the only stealth killer they has no costs to being stealth at will and the most common thing is see with NC is that survivors like to heal under hook or in a DZ where I can injure healing survivor(s) to keep on the pressure and keep them injured. It has literally helped me deal so many games because everyone is injured and the injured voices let’s me catch someone off-guard.
I think I’ve been jump scaring a lot more than I thought I would tonight lol

I've been experimenting with Unforeseen and trying to do a 0 TR build. One that makes survs question their sanity if i'm stealth or not. Love some help with this one because right now it's
Unforseen + Plaything + Pentimento and Corrupt. I will usually flex out corrupt if i'm using Rules 2 + Video Tape (My favorite combo).
I’m using the all-seeing build since it fits my play style of being all over the map applying constant pressure.
The other build I’ve been experimenting with is the 0 TR and exposed build during chases. Dark Devotion + Furtive Chase + Nemesis + Hubris = Massive confusion.

That Elodie and Oni outfit go hard for me, but that's probably me biased as I main her and Sheva when I play Survivor. Elodie's outfit looks like a warlord pirate from the PotC movies.

Yeah, I’ve been playing around with most of my games as ‘manda after I see that the match is pretty much won so we all just start goofing off. That or I’m instantly booped by a survivor not running away, then I just say screw it and just play along with everyone.
The amount of Sables in the basement every other game is hilarious, I’ll BBQ or NtH and see their Aura down there and sneak over to join them. Lol sometimes they’ll instantly stop and start panicking, but I assure them I’m not there to hook them. I just do the invocation with them.
I’ve gotten a few messages or shoutouts from ttvs I've faced and it's nice getting compliments and support as a Pig main. 🥹

Still evidently not too strong with ambush though. While it seems more potent, a lot of the same old moves work, but you definitely have to respect her more than before. If you pre throw a pallet too early and the Pig traps you there, it's a much harder mind game to win.

True, her appearances in matches has increased quite a bit. That leads to a mixture of play styles, which is a good thing, I love to see people trying her out. I've not played survivor but a handful of times since the update; I've been extensively and exclusively playing Amanda and so far she's been zoomin through matches. lol
Since the update, John's Medical File + Workshop Grease has been a tremendous help for me to capitalize on the early stage of the match since the speed and shock of a sudden ambush throws the survivor's balance off quite nicely. I'm enjoying the update, but of course, she's not up to par with the top tier killers and she could use more of a push to even be considered A tier, but she's definitely not to be scoffed at and she's fun imo.

Yeah, I’ve gotten a couple of trap elims because the timer wasn’t extended, meaning that survivors have more pressure on what to prioritize: Gens or trap removal.

Curious what everyone has in mind for their builds after the update? I personally just enjoy playing aura and other fun add-onless builds (I don’t really like using add-ons in my builds unless I feel I need to against a SWF otherwise I’m a hoarder).
