Good point. Nemesis with it would be a pretty insane combo (but that makes the game more interesting so I see it as a good thing). Like any hex , as soon as it's broken, it's gone, so it would be a coin flip on how effective it was in an actual game (especially depending on where it spawns). I still like the idea though.

I'd realllyy want a mummy to be it's own killer. There is so much potential with ancient Egyptian culture and a pharaoh.
Couldn't agree more.

I'm still waiting for a version of a Salem witch judge and a good graveyard map with a burning stake awaiting the 4 witches he will chase down.
Oh man, that'd be something. You know when the plague moris someone she first does her spell? Maybe a mori with the Salem judges will be them saying something at first, too. Something like, "Jake Park, I hereby sentence you to death for the crime of witchcraft," and then boom, the actual mori happens.

Well with the way “entity-blocked” generators work in DBD, they wouldn’t regress while the perk is active on it. BUT it would prevent survivors from immediately hopping back on a gen of your choosing so you can immediately put pressure on another gen or a chase.
Even though I'm a survivor main, I'm actually okay with the generator regressing while being blocked (maybe slower though, for balance sake). It's such a rare perk (you're limited by hooking the obsession for it to activate, and that can only happen so many times. And for that to even happen, you'd have to outplay the obsession to get the hook. The obsession might be better at looping, or you'd get flashlighted/pallet stunned/decisive striked out of getting the hook). It certainly would make the game more interesting. But it's entirely possible that in an actual game it would be too OP. shrug Good ideas, though.

Plague has her own map, Temple of Purgation.
*Face palm* For some reason, I was thinking of the Hag when I read that comment. You're right. Plague does have her map. (And Hag has Backwater Swamp as hers, if I remember correctly.)

Mummy Perks:
HEX: Mummified Alive - “The mummification process in the realm of the entity takes control of survivors attempting to prevent the inevitable .” Reduces the rate at which downed survivors can pick themselves up or get healed from dying state by 40/50/60%.
Chosen Sacrifice - “The monster’s desire to sacrifice one’s life in order to be reunited with another grants it immense power.” After hooking your obsession, the next generator you break will be blocked by the entity for 25/30/35 seconds.
Sacrilege - “The mistakes of those crossing lines they shouldn’t drives you to find and punish them.” Whenever a survivor misses a skill check, all survivor auras within your terror radius will be revealed for 3/4/5 seconds.

Those are interesting ideas. I like that you used details from the movie to come up with perks (i.e.: Imhotep just wanted to be with Anck-Su-Namun and that's the foundation for Chosen Sacrifice). Chosen Sacrifice with Pop would be an insane combo. That could take a nearly complete gen and nearly drain it.

could we perhaps have a skin for Plague as a mummy? and uhm maybe an actual own plague map?
I wouldn't want a new mummy skin to take the place of getting an actual mummy killer, but a new map would be nice. Have any ideas on what it should be?

I think this is an awesome idea.
Thanks! I hope the devs do it.

I love this idea :) sandy, jungly, some dank tombs. Nice <3
I'm glad you like it! Hopefully that'll make the devs want to do it. Sconces lighting the tomb walls, mummified bodies in the passageways, hieroglyphics depicting Entity lore (or the killer's history). There are so many cool things the devs could do with an ancient Egypt map.

Imhotep and Rick O’Connell would be a great chapter duo.
Agreed!

It literally just did it to me again. And I was given another DC penalty. I'm not even going to try to play again today.
This time it occurred at approx. 12:30 p.m.
(FYI, I emailed the devs about this before and was told to try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I did that, and it didn't fix it).
-
This has happened to me more than once at various times of day, but the most recent one was:
Platform: PS4
Region: Western Region of the United States (Nevada)
When: Saturday, May 30th, 2020, approx. 12:10 p.m.
What: Blue screen and then a message saying: An error has occurred in the following application. (CE-34878-0) Dead by Daylight
I was given a DC time penalty.

Hope it was an Easter egg!

Honestly I'd rather Danny DeVito be the Killer. He already has the powers and cosmetics for Trashman ready to go
It'd be too easy to decisive strike him. All you'd need is a toe knife and he'd get a botched toe stun that'll be OP.
-
Dr. Mantis Tabogan would work, but I'd like to see Ongo Gablogian, the art collector.
Dennis would make a good killer. He could creep up on you, almost pinning you against the wall of a jungle gym, and give you the implication that things might go wrong for you if you refuse to let him win. Not that things will go wrong for you, but you're thinking they will. Think about it. You're in the middle of a map, all alone, with no where to go. What are you going to do, say no? And yes, that does sound really dark. But you're misunderstanding me, bro. It's just an implication.

The perfect killer is obvious and that you failed to put them in is a travesty.
Clearly The Night Man should be the killer. He's got the troll toll in order to get your survivors hole!
The Night Man can't be a killer because his giant fake hands would get in the way of clenching a weapon.
We are really talking about Uncle Jack, after all . . .
-
@LegionOfDumb said:
You can't do this. Danny Devito would be OP, no killer would dare try to sacrifice him.
Well clearly they would be a monster to sacrifice Danny DeVito, but think how altruistic everyone would be to save that man. It could very well end toxicity as we know it.
-
Maybe he could have blood all over his body (like he got drenched in the blood from the elevators).
-
Sounds like an interesting idea. The only thing is, the killer wouldn't really look like typical DBD killers. He'd just look like a normal dude (no deformities, masks, or otherwise dehumanizing features) in a flannel shirt carrying, I would think, an ax. Maybe he'd have a cool "frozen" skin. Not really an issue, but just an observation. I like the idea of Wendy being the survivor and her perks being tied to maternal instincts. Could be she rocks perks similar in nature to BT or Breakout, perks that are designed to help the team survive.
