Really seems like the bugs and problems keep piling up instead of getting reduces over the course of 2020.
Yeah, but at least they're still managing to stick to that 3 month content schedule, with the mid chapter balance patch, right? Clearly they can handle it!
It sure would be nice if they dedicated 3-6 months to straight up optimization and balance of things currently in the game, but then there's no money in that.

Spinechill is that one perk that went under the radar as ridiculously strong for a very long time. I'm surprised it hasn't been nerfed, considering the information it gives you.
Perks far stronger than it won't be touched, so don't expect Spinechill to be. It's not really that strong regardless.

I suggest you constantly remind yourself that it's just a game, and while you're playing the game, rather than actively worrying about everything, simply don't think at all. Do the things you have to do, keep your mind off of anything else, and just play. Until you get it out of your mind that losing doesn't matter, winning doesn't matter, and to just relax, you'll never enjoy this game. It is very stressful as a killer a lot of the time and unless you're mentally capable of accepting that, as specific killers, on specific maps, against good survivors, you making one mistake, and all the reasons why you can lose the game very easily, you won't be able to enjoy it.
The sooner you don't take it so seriously and accept the fact that it's a survivor party game and you're the glorified AI, the better.

All of my negative experiences with this game are all survivor related. It's always survivors that have been toxic towards me, as both killer, and survivor (which I play more) Sure, killers can be toxic as well, but most of the time I can at least *understand* why they are being toxic. With survivors, I can never understand it.
I mostly play solo survivor and I can't tell you how many times I've had my teammates sandbag me, or how many times I've been injured and blocked at the exit gate by two people because it's apparently funny, or how many times I've been unhooked without BT in the killers face. It's like I have the total polar opposite to what people report about killers being toxic. It is the exact reason I no longer run Kindred, I no longer run BT. All of my perks are now selfish perks that amounts to letting me deal with the killer because my team is always completely useless.
Like, even outside of that and all the terrible players you run into playing solo, it makes you realize why you hate playing it. It's often the same feeling you get playing killer, only rather than it being a constant, it's a short burst action.

I'll never understand why people compare someone who's JOB is to play DBD for a living, and is one of the best and most optimal, and use his opinion as the basis for the strength of something else.
You realize that 99% of players do not play like "the best" streamers who play the game for a living, right? If your 'tier list' or basis for the strength of a killer isn't more practical then your argument for their strength is irrelevant.

Honestly, I had to make a banlist for the teammates I get at red ranks, that's just how bad it can be as a solo player. Do you have any idea how many times I've had a SWF group sandbag me and #########? So I have no grudge against killers being able to see survivor names for countless reasons, because if I couldn't see my teammates names I'd be upset I get stuck with several really bad apples.
I have never had the problem you're talking about but maybe it's because I play on PC, because I've played for 3 years and never have I had someone specifically go out of their way to target me, mori me, camp me, or do anything like that, and I've never done it myself. And if they did, okay? I'll move onto the next game, I don't care. If a killer brings a hidden mori offering or I get off a hook after they camp/attempt to tunnel me, I can guarantee loop them for more than enough time for my whole team to get every gen if I wanna sweat
My guess is tunneling and camping and such are far more common on console.

Being good at hiding doesn't make you good at the game. At all. You're basically the exact opposite of the kind of person people want on their team and the exact type of person that causes people to just kill themselves on hook. Because you're useless. But at least you hide gud. But you're not going to hide gud if a killer has Whispers and wants to find you, and I hope they make sure you die for being an immersed gamer.
-
The same people who defend being able to DC whenever they want and wanting the penalty gone are the same type of people who advocate for suiciding on hook, so unfortunately the only way to get it to happen is to do it. Apparently people only care about their own experience and fun, and have really thin skin so they like having the ability to nope out of any game at any point for any reason, regardless of how small, and ruin the experience for 4 other people.
Pretty sad people justify it, really. Not saying that other things would have to change if it were a thing, but still.

DS and BT being in every match and on 4 survivors so often at red ranks isn't healthy for the game. I understand why they exist. I understand why even I use them. I don't agree with creating more problems for the main problem instead of tackling the actual problem.
Challenges ruin the flow of normal gameplay too much. Ruin was perfectly fine. Current Nurse is incredibly unfun and her basekit should be restored. Spirit, Freddy, and Deathslinger are all incredibly boring to play against and killers like that shouldn't exist. More loops should be safe but also more mind gameable.
Most of "the best" streamers for either survivor or killer generally have opinions that only apply to 0.1% of the playerbase, ie people who literally play the game for a living, as most people do not play at their level of supposed skill and a lot of their opinions shouldn't be reinforced. There are a few that have good points and do view things from both sides, so while you may not agree, they're probably very accurate.
The community isn't as toxic as people make it out to be, it's only toxic when you play toxic, and I rarely run into people who are toxic, probably in part due to how I play both sides myself.

If you kill 3 survivors you've earned the right to kill the 4th a whole lot more than that 1 survivor earned the right to escape. It is a team game after all, and hatch opening generally signifies you losing. But the reason it exists is to not make a game last forever and to give them a chance of escape, you know? It's just something that has to exist because they didn't find a better way to handle it.
I would imagine someone will tell me they did all 4 gens, made every save, and looped the killer for 10 gens so they did earn it, though. Every game, and everyone always does this so they earned it.

Keys, Moris, NOED/Adrenaline and overall fundamental game balance should all be adjusted IMO. You can probably toss in insta hatchets as well.

The problem with showing killers, for example, is it would do what MLGA did. It would devolve from dodging toxic killers and simply be used to dodge someone you might know playing a killer you don't like.
It's one reason why they can't show you who the killer is as well. As far as now showing survivor names, I don't really think it's a big deal to not show their names, but they'd have to remove the ability to view their steam profile. The fact is at the end of the day this is a pretty casual game so it'll probably never happen the way you want it to because it's simply not necessary.
I've played at red ranks for a long time and it always baffles me how people apparently get tunneled, singled out, mori'd, and all this other stuff when it basically never happens to me. It makes me wonder how legit your complaints truly are or if your purpose is to make something up. If you're always at red ranks I can see how a killer might recognize you, but they're probaly more likely to dodge than they are go out of their way to catch a super good survivor.

That's horrible cop out logic . Its a night and day difference.
-Optimization for starters.
-You can't hug a wall nearly as good as a mouse player.
3 killers can aim their throws/skills better with a mouse
-A mouse player can constantly keep visibility on killers from behind and quickly look straight again on a constant without bumping into things. Try that on console. And this is my most important issue.
Pc survivors and killers make less mistakes
" oh BuT u CAN turn iT oFf" I'm pretty sure most of the community will not wanna opt out and would prefer to suffer then to deal with this gamsa pathetic que times.
But yeah. Grasping at straws is fun, right.
So what you're saying is it has absolutely no impact on you whatsoever because you can opt out of it? As in it would be the exact same if they DIDN'T make this change? Huh.

Why can't Wraith have at least a yellow Windstorm by default? Why can't Trapper start with a bag by default? Why can't Myer's, Hag, Trapper have maybe their own default, weaker form of CI at the start? Why so many countless things can't they balance and adjust them instead of doing absolutely nothing at all?
You probably know the reason
