My suggestions help both sides but balance it. Vote down all you want. This game is plagued and people will be migrating to the other game coming you know which one.
-
Survivors are outnumbered on this forum. It's a shame. All it takes is one killer to whine and they get a pat on the head and a cookie. One survivor tells the truth and we just get more nerfs. GG devs, doing a really good job.
-
It seems like it was programmed in on purpose. If it is, that's underhanded.
-
Y'all are all the typical poster children for all that I stated besides maybe one person who was not judgemental but instead gave valuable feedback and while they didn't completely agree at least they weren't making blanket statements. I play at a high enough level AND have played the killer side. It is rare to come across a person who doesn't just give into their whims to immediately start attacking someone for their honest opinion, as I said this is my opinion. Glad to get flamed in the comments so you all can prove my point how toxic killer mains are.

Trickster's hit box with his M1 is hitting from long range and is downing everyone with so few daggers now. S Tier Killer now. Overpowered to the point his usage rate is going to skyrocket. It's actually extremely oppressive now!

this game will never be truly balanced tbh, but that doesn't mean we can't make it a bit fair for both sides
and yes survivors do have harmful abilties to my eyes and me by stunning me or doing the gens too fast giving me anixety they also do have supernatural abilties of healing themselves without any sort of medical training or by simply being in a basement….
LMAO in hand to hand combat survivors are not able to brandish a weapon at all, you have a pallet that any killer with a brain respects and if you P2W you can get head on. So the only harming defense is to "attack" the killer with a locker door or a broke down wooden pallet.
Let's be realistic here, this is a goofy game and more people should try to have fun and goof off and not be a sweatbox.
I see streamers oozing over the fact they got a 4k win streak and if that is all they got going for them in life, I have buckets of sympathy for them.

i agree fogviles are got over nerfed even tho i hated them this is too much
and me mentioning fragile pallets and fogviles is simply showing that if 2 things made it from events, this perk idea being a real thing is not far fetched is just needs the right balance
That's the thing though this game is not balanced at all, it is a lopsided pvp game. It is literally described as an asymmetrical horror game, and who is it do you think that runs around with weapon in hand and supernatural harmful abilities? It ain't the survivors, I'll tell you that!

I cAn GeT 4K WiTh ZeRo PerKs lmfao
yea and i can mori survivors at the first 10 seconds of the game with trapper
let me guess baby survivors? hm? i really do wanna see u pull it off against some sweaty team or swf, that would truly impressive
i mean yea its douable with nurse, blight, kaneki
but every convo that usually goes about balance usually excludes those because they won't effected
and if u bothered u would actually realize i said give it a token system, like 4 tokens making the killer use it in a tactical way, not simply cry about the fact the someone even mentioned a perk idea from the anniversary
since we have fogviles and fragile pallets which were also from the anniversary and 2 v 8
Let me reiterate, no one is using that fragile pallet. And in order to use fog vials in their current nerfed to the ground state you have to use a completely synergistic build to even make it viable.
At that point you are hurting your team by fooling around just to pop some light smoke on the map that ANY half competent killer can track you right through, because you are completely visible.

of course this community is sad, when every post that suggests any help about killer gets downvoted TO OBLIVION while i have to see the 6th billion ####### post about nerf this nerf that get upvoted to hell
yea how dare u suggest any help for a killer should just make this game offline because u want to play the game as the opposite role
Oh boo hoo the point was that someone asked for something that is so silly. Don't you think it is a bit much? You want to eliminate interactions when it is already easy to play this game. I can 4k with zero perks. Give me a break.

But not like the ones from the event so addem on devs
At this point, why not just make the game offline only and a single player game. Because what you are asking is to not have to put forth any effort, and this community is sad... To be honest.
-
Hey, here's a strat, don't slug. Pick up immediately and conviction is useless. End of story.
Conviction is only strong if you don't counterplay. Otherwise it has little impact if the entire build isn't a synergistic one, like some of the perks you mentioned.
To add to that, someone running this type of build is meming more often than not and not particularly spending a majority of time doing the important thing, fixing gens.
In a very rare case scenario it may help the solo remaining survivor get out after hatch is shut powering the exit gates. if the killer was not suspecting the build because you don't show your cards til the last moment, you have a chance but not a guarantee.
-
You are correct, killers shouldn't even have perks, just their unique power and balance applied across all characters however broken perks is what sells characters. Far fewer sales if perks weren't a thing for killers.
I don't consider Sadako a stealth killer, you want your presence felt everywhere. She is lethal to be near and you establish that not by sneaking around with her. She needs to ambush and oppress quickly.
If you go against a SWF find the person running all the tapes and put a stop to it. No TV near the gen, no pressure.
Do you ever try running expose perks? There are just far too many ways to get a 4k with ANY killer. Run the strats!!
-
No one using that fragile pallet lol. The survivor perks were DOA for this release. 6 perks, and 2 are useful and one has been kill switched.
What you are asking for is to make what is already easy easier. You already have perks that destroy pallets remotely. Hooking is the easiest task to complete, practically on roller skates.
-
You have to apply the appropriate map pressure by teleporting with the TV, use perks that show you the status of generators being worked on. Don't chase a survivor that is cooking you on a single loop. There is nothing wrong with this killer's ability, the problem is in your strategy.
Each killer has unique gameplay, you have to learn their strengths and weaknesses. Play to their strengths instead of claiming their power is too weak.
It doesn't take much effort as a killer to be honest, just use better perks, stop using merciless storm. Decide if you want to slug, camp, or chase, and use perks for counterplay.
Killer side is OP when you rub a few brain cells together and drum up a strategy that plays to your killer's strengths.
-
It's terrible how killers are on roller skates near the hook and have a glide animation once they get closer and can start hooking from 5 feet away. Tie always in killer favor when you are 99.9 wiggled off. There used to be a risk and reward for blocking the hook if a team tries to prevent it. Killer could start getting their shots in, one of the main reasons for Mad Grit.
We can still block hooks but it takes more precision but usually the killer slides right over survivors and literally shoves them out of the way.
They did update Ace's perk and adapt offerings to allow hook escape attempts... You could pretty much ######### on the hook if you run any of those if you are so inclined.
-
The vial was perfect at launch and then we had the killers sobbing so the pacifiers got pulled out. What a disappointment, just when there was some hope and fun to be had, completely useless item now.
-
1000% correct what a joke
-
I don't understand why survivors keep getting nerfed. You added a new item that was exciting to use and now you have completely destroyed it, it is see through, killers can still track right through it and now you have limited its use to two uses?
Why do you all favor killer side so much. I'm new to forum but I've played dbd since 2017. This is a gross undertaking to give hope to the survivor community by establishing a new item, that was working well, allowing for new play styles, and then you completely snuff it out.
Killers should only have three perks with their power. Survivors should have their 4 perks and useable items. It's just too much... The game was the best back in the first few years, terrifying and exciting, the most nail-biting game of glorified hide and seek, but now after having tried to fix camping and tunneling and slugging, the problems have gotten even worse.
The only good out of any of this is being able to bot out immediately after an egomaniacal killer main decides to end the match in the first two minutes at 5 gens.
Unplayable mess.
