I am not aware of any issues of cakes in the bloodweb, only Bloodweb Errors from earlier.
Well, I suppose this is BHVR's response. The lack of cakes is not a bug. It is intended design, and functioning correctly. No, they do not plan on changing it.

I am half convinced that there is no killswitch criteria.
It seems like they just choose things at random, there's no way that Nemesis or SM add-ons deserved a killswitch if Merciless Storm or Streetwise don't.
point of order that Merciless Storm did deserve a killswitch, and got one.
Why that perk deserved a killswitch and not Streetwise is anyone's guess

Lots of people seem to believe this is another reward a la charms , ie lower value cosmetics that can fill out rift tracks. I can't see how that's true when pngs of perk icons and character portraits as, say, rewards for prestige levels 10-13 (or whatever) seem like easy wins.

BHVR 's response is obviously: "Yes"
Sometimes it's absolutely worth it - after all, there's 5 people in a Sadako match, and only one of them is playing Sadako. The condemned play-style is undoubtedly exhausting to play against and needed to go.
That said, this all sucks really bad. Genuinely think if they just got rid of the whole "tape goes in any TV" thing we'd actually be sort of ok.
