They cant boon rekindled totems
oh
-
boons are arguably the strongest perks in the game, you can still cleanse the totems, i would like to see snuffed boons break or more rekindle charges, maybe 2-3 rekindles per totem? survs can still boon rekindle totems iirc
-

Ok but rekindling takes 14 seconds like cleansing/booning
well survs can memorize cleansed totem spots, have dhunch, maps, etc. i dont see why its not fair
-
same can go for white ward

The only addons on survivors worth saving are those that get consumed upon using and can't be kept anyway, like a syringe, unless they literally don't use them.
Killers aren't in a comparable situation, because some of them would be able to retain some truly busted stuff and they always get use out of their addons in a trial.
it is comparable because sometimes you get donkey teams that full suicide first down

It's not exactly what i would call great for gameplay, but banning people for doing is a massive overreaction. It's not even a real reliable strategy, at best you kill one person and then have to deal with endgame where you're most likely about to watch three survivors do wind sprints out the door.
you lose addons, offerings, and time
-
so forcing yourself to die is fun? atleast cross off players have a brain and we popped all gens at once and we 4 outed
-
yes it is, its boring

The grades shown in the end screen there are not used for matchmaking - they show playtime this month only.
MMR is completely hidden.
yeah i understand that but a bnp, flashlight, toolboxes, deli build, pt, dhs, etc, this is clearly above average mmr and atleast a 2 man

That's not a thing. I'm pretty sure I got 4 person SWFs under the old rank system when I was brand new to the game, much less learning a new killer after playing in red ranks.
so fun. im p sure this isnt even a 4 man
-
@Underdawg said:
You're not supposed to succeed immediately when you are learning something.
and you also arent supposed to get 4 man swfs when you start playing the killer too but here we are
-
for those saying "get flashbang" the issue is i dont have the bp to get leon to 40(?), get bp to get it t3

Well, the real question is why you'd expect DS to help you in this scenario? It's not designed for this, it's not supposed to help you in this very specific scenario that's been crafted here.
i just got a clip of deli ds in basement today

In that scenario you use DS before you go for the unhook, and then unhook while they're stunned.
you know how bad that is? you barely get distance

If you're going for a save, DS no longer applies. You're not being tunnelled, you're progressing the game- which makes you a valid target for the killer.
so i should
- save my ds because its endgame and hes camping on top of shack and gonna come down and let my teammate die
- just go second?
-
@TragicSolitude said:
Survivors being able to DS the killer after unhooking was one of the bigger problems with DS. A survivor fresh off the hook unhooks another survivor and the killer is in a lose-lose situation because both can stab him. It was absolutely ridiculous when it happened, going after the unhooker is supposed to be the right move yet the killer could still be punished for it.
the biggest problem was 60s of gen time with no punishment
-
@jesterkind said:
DS is an anti-tunnel tool, and if you're going for a save you're either not being tunnelled or you really shouldn't be going for that save.
You don't get to do stuff in the Killer's face with DS anymore, if you're trying to use it offensively you don't get to progress the game while doing so.
let teammate die to save ds? killers will camp basement atleast once while youre playing with 1 more person
-
i use them in kyf a lot and theyre fun mid chase if you can blind with a flashlight but idk how pubs plays out

Because it has such an obvious answer
well imo old animations look better so its not so obvious

Is this a serious question?
why wouldnt it be?

i hope they improve the injured one. it looks so bad

Weird topic to make if you really don't care about these character model updates.
BHVR is updating all the visuals of the game, because it's a (almost) 5 year old and they want the game to have better visuals.
and the game is losing nostalgia and it just doesn't feel like old dbd anymore. I know these are minor changes but look at dwight

If every map consistently had somewhere to use it, and not just a random hill in the corner of a map, I think it would be an extremely good perk. We can only hope that they do it I guess.
people say "oh shack basement" but i got killed bc i tried to activate it there

@NoOneKnowsNova said:
Aslong as it doesn't create infinites or cause certain loops to be almost infinites (looking at you Myers House) I'd be fine with this buff.
same, i just want something to make it different

fr over 50% of people hate the animations but what do they do? still put it in
