I would not want myers even to be reworked though just buffed. He should have normal lunge in tier 1 and probably 110% movement speed. To not make him have bit better start. That would also make playing mirror myers feel better. In tier 3 he should be stronger like the example you mentioned but also vaulting could be even quicker than now.
His tier-3 vault is fine in its current state.

Did they really? Which stream was this
I dont know but it was fairly recent. If you want proof watch otz new video about the problematic add-ons
-
As a Myers main I can vouch that his add-ons need a rework and his base-kit power needs buff's desperately. I always run Tombstone piece as its one of the only effective ways of winning as Myers. As for a rework ideas or add-on changes we won't get them any time soon as the devs said in a stream that they were happy with how Myers is. As for a rework i cant think of anything, so buff's are the way forward tbh.
- Increased pallet breaking speed
- Reduced pallet stun time
- Increased FOV
- Maybe being immune to being blinded while in tier 3

Yeah I got inspiration from Icarus, if you dislike the idea for the design what would you recommend the killer to be instead of an Angel?
I don't dislike the design necessarily its just i don't think this killer power suits an angel per say. For what it could be instead you could implement an icarus type figure. In my head I though of a name called THE FAITHFUL.
with a short backstory would be that this figure was overly religious with their christian faith who himself thought he was an actual angel and wanted to do gods will to cleanse the world of sin. After murdering many people he deemed sin itself his actions caught up with him. A divine light shined upon him making him think GOD was in fact in support of his actions. IN fact it was a police helicopter, he was shot by armed police upon following him after his latest crime. He crawled to a nearby church and locked the doors, he prayed for God's help and a voice whispreed to him telling him that he can serve god in his own realm all he had to do was agree. He accpeted the proposition, a dark cloud engluthed him and the police barged through the doors of the church with the christian no where in sight.
That way it incorporates your angel like power.
Your backstory for your angel however is still really good and I would suggest keeping it if you decide to do another angel killer concept.

Weeping Angels.
They're very iconic, despite their non-horror origin, but their function would likely make them useless in DBD.
It could maaaaaybe be pulled off with some sort of light-dimming power, allowing the killer to sporadically render all survivors fully blind, but it'd be so hard to balance and it'd probably be ass to play against.
Heres a concept I made, much like you I would 100% love to see the weeping angels in dbd a perfect additon. In my concept i do factor in the staring at the angel, i took inspiration from the show itself as there are weaknesses to staring at an angel such as looking at the eyes and staring for too long will cause you to briefly blink. The concept is not exactly complete I just wanted to chuck it so some mechanics will be unfinished.
-
I don't really get angel vibes from this concept to be perfectly honest, An angels wings are distinct to their holy attire and i feel as if it shouldnt really be the power. The only thing i think of when i see this concept is a revamp of Icarus. For context in case you do not know who icarus is he is a biblical figure whos father made him angelic wings to escape someone. However Icarus arrogance of wanting to fly higher to heaven, caused the sun to break his wings (The material melted) and he fell to his death. The power in itself is a good concept and with a bit of balancing it can be very good. Such as the takeoff the higher the speed the longer the liftoff time vice versa.
-
My names McRee. Jokes aside I love the concept, this could come into the game as trickster has an add-on which makes his blades bounce.
-
Arguably I think his secondary power would be a good update for pig. I don't see him enter the game with this current power as him having the RVBTs makes it kinda lazy and he should have something else. God knows there are so many other traps you could incorporate into a main ability.
-
If you need help, feel free to ask me
-
its terrible, "When she activates this power, she can instantly repair any generator on the map, using her advanced technology to quickly fix any mechanical problems. Additionally, she can use this power to reassemble her own body, healing herself and gaining a temporary speed boost" whats the actual power other than letting survivors win. Plus its a shame people use chatgpt to make killer concepts these days.
-
Looking back on it your right it is kinda unfinished, but thanks for your feedback. I did have a backstory for this but its dissapeared for some reason.?

That's fair enough. If I might ask, what would you do with this concept? I'd be interested in hearing other ideas!

This is what I had in mind, I took inspiration from WW1 gas warfare.
SPECIAL ITEM: GAS MASK
8 gas masks are located around the map which survivors can find and use. When using it will cleanse the effects of toxic gas and slowly build survivors oxygen meter back up, this can only replenish 50% worth of oxygen and is automatically destroyed after 30s.
PASSIVE: asphyxiation
Survivors start the trial with the oxygen bar. Survivors who come into contact with the toxic gas will slowly deplete this bar.
Upon reaching below 75% the survivors will be affected with the suffocation status effect. Survivors can passively gain oxygen back by staying out of toxic gas.
STATUS EFFECT: SUFFOCATION
Survivors gain suffocation when they reach 75% oxygen and can only gain the negative effects if they are in the toxic gas. Upon leaving the gas the effects persist for 15s
75%-50%: Survivors will loudly wheeze, cough and gasp for air.
50%-25%: Survivors lack of oxygen will affect their awareness of the environment.
25%-0%: Survivors can't heal other survivors or use exhaustion perks. The survivor will become suffocated if they reach 0%, once it has been reached they have 10s to find air or they will be put into the dying state.
SPECIAL ABILITY: INHALE
At the start of the trial 4 bombs are randomly places on walls and 4 are in your inventory. When going up to an already placed proximity bomb you can toggle to pick it up. Hold the active ability button to charge a throw. Once released depending on how much you charged it will travel through the air until it collides with a surface where it will stick too. Survivors who come into contact with them will make them explode releasing toxic gas.
SPECIAL ABILITY: INCINERATION
Hold the active ability button for three seconds to activate. You pull out a lighter which you try to light, when in toxic gas made by one of your bombs light the gas into a flaming inferno. Survivors caught within the gas will lose a healthstate, the killer will be stunned for 2 seconds and will become hindred for 5s.
SPECIAL ABILITY: TOXIC STORM
When the secondary gauge is full toxic storm will automatically activate. A huge mist of toxic gas will spread throughout the trial for a limited amount of time after it ends it fades away and goes on cool-down.

I honestly don't really like it, its too similar to clown. Its not how I would write a concept like this either.

Map: Romanian Castle
Probably one of the best vampire power concepts I have seen. However I would remove the 50% for CRIMSON TOUCH as a survivor has to have the vampirism status effect when they are sacrificed to activate it.

Chapter Title: "Invasion"
New Killer: The Xenomorph
Killer Description: The Xenomorph is a highly evolved alien creature that is capable of instilling fear and terror in its prey. He is an agile and stealthy assassin who can move quickly around the map and is able to climb walls and ceilings to surprise his victims. He can also use his sharp tail and jaws to attack survivors.
New Survivors: Ellen Ripley and Bishop
Description of the survivors: Ellen Ripley is a brave lieutenant of the spaceship Nostromo, who fought against the Xenomorphs in the original Alien movie. Bishop is a synthetic who joined Ripley on her mission and became a valued ally to her. Both survivors will have unique abilities that will allow them to escape from the Xenomorph and save the other survivors.
New Map: The Nostromo Spaceship
Map Description: The Nostromo spaceship is the main setting of the original Alien movie. It's a dark and claustrophobic map, with multiple levels and narrow corridors offering plenty of hiding places for survivors. There will also be open areas such as the bridge and engine room, which will offer more space for the Xenomorph to move around and escape.
New special abilities and items that will appear on the map.
Alien: The Xenomorph
- Flamethrower: An item that can be found on the map - More info below...
- Xenomorph Egg: A dangerous item that can be found on the map that can hatch and release a Xenomorph if handled incorrectly - More info below...
The survivors: Bishop and Ripley
- Motion Detector A unique special ability of Bishop. - More info below...
- Stampede: A unique special ability for Ripley - More info below...
We start talking about the new killer: The Xenoform.
Killer Power: "Acid Blood"
The Xenomorph is equipped with Acidic Blood, which can spray Survivors when damage is dealt to it. This blood deals continuous damage to Survivors and prevents them from healing for a short period of time. The Xenomorph can activate his power by pressing a button and spraying nearby survivors with his acidic blood.
The power has a limited duration and must be recharged before it can be used again. It also has a short range, which means the Xenomorph must be close to the survivors in order to spray them.
In addition to his power, the Xenomorph can also climb walls, ceilings and attack from above allowing him to quickly move around the map and surprise survivors from above.
Already spoken previously we enter with 2 new mechanics and 2 new special abilities that this chapter will incorporate:
- Flamethrower: An item that can be found on the map that can be used to burn the Xenomorph and temporarily stop it.
- Xenomorph Egg: A dangerous item that can be found on the map that can hatch and release a Xenomorph if handled incorrectly. Xenomorph eggs would be placed in strategic locations on the map and would activate when the Xenomorph uses its "Spawn Egg" special ability, plus Xenomorph could set 3 with a secondary action. If the survivors do not interact with them, the eggs will remain dormant and will not pose a threat. However, if a Survivor gets too close to an inactive Egg, the Xenomorph can activate it with his ability and hatch a Facehugger, which will pounce on the Survivor and temporarily immobilize them.
- Stampede: A unique special ability for Ripley that allows her to run faster for a short period of time and leave a trail of pheromones that will lure the Xenomorph away from the other survivors.
- Motion Detector A unique special ability of Bishop that allows Survivors to detect the presence of the Xenomorph and know in which direction it is moving.
Let's talk about Xenomorph perks:
- "Blood Hunt": When the Xenomorph injures a Survivor, its acidic blood begins to eat away at their body. The affected Survivor will bleed, slowing their movement speed and leaving a more noticeable blood trail. This Perk activates at the start of the match and lasts until the affected Survivor is healed.
- "Alien Mindset": The Xenomorph is highly adapted for hunting and survival. As he approaches the survivors, his vision sharpens, allowing him to detect their movements and sense their possible movements through walls. When the Xenomorph is within detection range of the survivors, this Perk activates and its movement speed is increased for a short period of time.
- "Acidic Presence": The Xenomorph emanates a cloud of acidic gas that dissolves nearby objects and obstacles. When the Killer is in the survivors' terror radius, this Perk activates, nearby Survivors will have their movement speed reduced and their visibility decreased due to the acid smoke. The Xenomorph will move faster and have a better ability to ambush survivors.
Let´s talk about survivors perks:
Ellen Ripley Perks:
- "Survival Instincts": Ellen Ripley is a seasoned survivor who has fought Xenomorphs before. As she approaches the Xenomorph, her body releases a distracting substance that draws her attention back to her, allowing her to divert the attention of the other survivors and allow them to escape.
- "Ingenious Mind": Ellen Ripley is a trained engineer who knows how to improvise and come up with creative solutions. When she is near a tool or repair item, her repair speed increases, allowing her to fix generators and exit doors faster.
- "Last Stand": Ellen Ripley is a tenacious survivor who doesn't give up easily. When she is injured and near an exit door, her movement speed and her ability to escape from it are increased, allowing her to survive a final attack from the Xenomorph.
Bishop's Perks:
- "Artificial Intelligence": Bishop is a synthetic who has advanced computer skills. When he is near a computer terminal (generator) his gen speed increases, allowing him to broken doors and obtain valuable information more quickly.
- "Fast Thinking": Bishop has the ability to quickly analyze situations and make informed decisions. When he is within the detection range of the Xenomorph, his movement speed increases and he can make decisions more quickly, allowing him to evade the creature and escape.
- "Healing Hands": Bishop is able to repair and heal other survivors faster than most. When he is healing another survivor, his healing speed increases, allowing him to heal others.
When reading it, it feels as if you asked asked an ai chatbot to make an alien chapter for you. The reason why I can tell is how the perks are done, bots such as CHATGPT often get confused on the concept of how perks should effect the performance of all killers and not just a singular one (Also it effects killer power).

I don't remember it having a good in the game. all the same decent edit

You took a power and some perks and made an entire story off of it... Amazing!
Thank you
-
You didn't make any backstory for either so I made one for you.
Margaret Greer had always been fascinated by the natural world. As a young girl, she spent most of her free time exploring the woods around her home, fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow, the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds. But it wasn't until she enrolled in botany classes in college that she discovered her true passion: plants.
Margaret was a gifted student, with a sharp mind and an insatiable curiosity. She spent hours studying the intricacies of plant physiology, learning about the various ways in which plants could adapt and thrive in different environments. But as much as she loved the science of botany, Margaret was also drawn to the darker side of the plant world. She read about carnivorous plants that could trap and digest insects, and about parasitic plants that could take over their hosts' bodies and minds.
After graduating from college with honors, she began working for a biotech company that helped assist her in her quest to better understand plants. Margaret Greer had a passion for creating new plant species. She loved nothing more than spending hours in her labatory, cultivating and cross-breeding different plants to create unique hybrids. However, her obsession with her work took its toll, and she began to neglect other aspects of her life. Her relationships suffered, and she lost touch with friends and family.
Her experiments soon grew increasingly dangerous. She started experimenting with strange and exotic plants that had never been seen before, ignoring warnings from her colleagues and pushing the boundaries of what was safe. Her experiments led her to make new strange hybridised plant species. On an eventful evening while working late in her Lab, Margaret was exposed to a new plant she had been experimenting with. She had only left it for a second when a strange, thorny vine that seemed to pulse with a life of its own. The vine took hold of her arm, burrowing inside of her and she could feel it growing inside her, consuming her from the inside out. She could see arm slowly changing she sliced her arm off but it was too late - the plant had taken root inside her, and it was slowly taking over. Margaret accepted her reality if bleeding out, however as she looked to her removed arm it sprouted out anew completely fine and untouched only the remnants of a bloody limb remained in the side of her workplace.
Margaret became obsessed with the plant deep inside of her, and she started to hear its voice in her head. It spoke to her. She became convinced that the plant was the key to unlocking a new era of plant life, that it could revolutionise science. As her research continued on her discovery so did power of the plant inside her. She started to feel its vines sprouting from her skin, and she could control them with a thought. She began to experiment with the plant's powers, discovering she could regenerate any wound and control plant life at will. As she isolated herself more her colleagues began to worry, some began to investigate her findings. On a dark evening a female colleague Sarah came into the dark lab. She found samples if the plant growing and blooming in Margaret's lab. Sarah read through the files of Margaret and made a horrific discovery, Margaret had altered the plants design to create spores to infect people in the masses. As Sarah was about to leave she was confronted by a mutated margeret. A twisted, thorny creature with vines growing from her arms, her eyes has the their humanity removed from them staring at Sarah with empty eyes with a hint of green. Sarah ran for the door. "Why are you running Sarah, it's the next step in our evolution" Sarah escaped the lab and ran down the empty corridors soon bumping into a grad student Margot Vilo. "We need to contain this building Margaret has created a biohazard it can't leave..." Margaret impales Sarah with a sharp plant like blade from her arm, she falls to the ground.
Margot Vilo sprinted down the hallway, her heart pounding in her chest. She had never seen anything like Margaret before, and she knew that she needed to get out of the building before it was too late. She could hear Margaret's thorny vines growing and reaching out, as if searching for her. Margot could also hear the screams and shouts of other people in the building, all trying to escape the biohazard that Margaret had created. As she ran, Margot realized that she had been exposed to the spores that Margaret had created. She could feel something growing inside of her, just like what had happened to Margaret. She knew that she needed to act fast, or else she would end up like her.
Margot's mind raced as she thought of a plan. She remembered seeing a canister of gasoline in one of the storage rooms. If she could find it and spread it throughout the lab, she could ignite it and burn the entire place to the ground, destroying Margaret and the plant inside her once and for all.
Margot searched frantically for the storage room, her hands shaking with fear and adrenaline. When she finally found it, she grabbed the canister of gasoline and started dousing everything in sight. She poured it on the lab equipment, on the plants, and even on herself, not caring about the risk. She then made her way to the room where Margaret was hiding, and when she saw the twisted creature in front of her, she lit a match and threw it.
The room erupted in flames, and Margot watched as Margaret burned and twisted in agony. She felt the heat on her skin, but she didn't care. She knew that she had done the right thing, and that she had saved countless lives by destroying the biohazard that Margaret had created. As the fire raged on, a dark mist came from within the fire devouring the flames sharp claws surrounded the environment devouring everything around her and eventually herself. She awoke in a forest, looking around to see in horror the vines she burnt in the lab.
MARGOT VILO BACKSTORY
Margot Vilo was always fascinated by science, particularly biology. She grew up in a small town where her parents owned a farm, and from a young age, she helped them tend to the crops and animals. Margot was a natural at it, and she loved learning about the different species that lived on the farm. As she got older, Margot's interest in biology grew, and she knew she wanted to pursue it as a career. She attended a prestigious university where she studied biology, with a focus on genetics and bioengineering. Margot was an exceptional student, and she quickly caught the attention of her professors.
After graduating, Margot landed a job at a biotech company where she worked as a researcher. Her work was focused on developing new strains of crops that were more resistant to pests and disease. Margot quickly proved herself to be a valuable asset to the company, and she was promoted to lead researcher.
However, Margot's career took a sudden turn when she discovered a shocking truth about the company she worked for. They were using their research to create genetically modified crops that were harmful to the environment and potentially dangerous to humans. Margot was horrified by this discovery and knew she couldn't stay silent. She began to secretly gather evidence of the company's wrongdoing, but it wasn't long before she was caught. The company fired her, and they did everything they could to discredit her and cover up their actions. Margot was devastated but refused to give up. She knew the truth, and she was determined to expose the company's unethical practices. It was during this time that Margot heard about Margaret Greer and her work with plants, she initially thought she could help her expose the wrong doings if the company they worked for. So she reached out to her for help. Little did she know that this decision would lead her down a path of danger and horror, one that would ultimately end in the lab's fiery destruction.

I'm loving this concept. It's shocking that you made a better og chapter than BHVR. The perks are well made and seem like they can be fun to use, will need some nerfing but almost perfect. I love powers which include a secondary objective, this killer would be amazing addition to the game, 1 change however I would make is that when a vine is destroyed the survivor should be inflicted with the prickled status effect.
-
Oh man this is incredible my guy. Amazing clean terror radius and chase music and the clip of Leon getting killed was very well used. What did you use to make it?
-
I'm curious too I can't think of any lmao
-
I honestly don't know man. I'm calling to give up on core all together and just play the mobile version as it's such a better game. It feels love and effort was out into it, plus it featured gameplay mechanics before core which is a joke. Plus a lot of killers are getting love again such as hillbilly is insane on mobile.

It is quite A.I. heavy. Stealth builds won't be very good either with his being somewhat noisy. Controlling Freddy at the end would both not make sense, and would also be less effective. Would you add an anti-loop, because I could see that making sense?
yeah he needs a chase power definitely

Don't want a chapter 3 tbh

And there is a very simple way to do this:
- Give killers a 5th perk slot that can only be used for a hex or a hex clearing related perk.
- Let killers rekindle hexes as long as totems exist.
What would happen? Every killer now runs Blood favor until all 5 bones have been broken. Chases are shorter and the survivor objectives are massively longer. Boons become nerfed because their team members keep breaking the bones to prevent the killer from having their hex of choice.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/368793/otzs-tunneling-experiment
So if you watch Otz's stream you will hear him say :" I have to tunnel this person if I want to win" when he is trying for an all perk challenge or if he is trying for a 50 winstreak.
When Otz absolutely positively feels he must win - he tunnels. That is all the proof you need.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3377712#Comment_3377712
Sadly this will never happen. DBD is optimized for 5 mobile objects and having 3 bots is "too much" for the system.
Not to worry in August we will get the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre game. It will feature 3 killers on voice coms vs 4 survivors on voice coms. This is the same company that made F13 and so they already had an attempt at the "4v1" years ago so they had time to make a new game that will "work".
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3377709#Comment_3377709
Here's the issue:
Tunneling a generator out of the game makes it so that it can never be "unrepaired". Survivors can trade 5 generators for 5 hooks spread evenly across the team and everyone escapes. This is called "efficient" play and is celebrated by survivors - at the expense of the killer.
The "counterplay" to this as killer is to hook one survivor three times. This is the most efficient way to play as killer. You literally get nothing for hooking three different players one time with the base kit rules. Hook one player three times and you get a death that results in a permanent 25% reduction of the enemy team efficiency.
I would stop tunneling tomorrow if I got a 9% debuff to all survivors for generators, healing, chests, totems, sabotage, doors, etc., every time I hooked a new survivor as long as 4 players were alive. Note that an 8% debuff would only be 24% by the 3rd hook making it less effective than tunneling so the debuff needs to be a 9% penalty. After hooking 3 or 4 players once I would go back to tunneling like normal however so the debuff needs to last the entire game once earned - otherwise you just tunnel as normal.
How would this change the game?
- Everyone is alive in the game longer
- Generator defense would actually mean something if killers are averaging 27-36% built in slowdown every game. (note this would likely mean the last two generators would be taking ~118 seconds.
- Three gen scenarios would get more common.
- Dying Light would become an overnight sensation and we could in theory be getting something like a 45-50% penalty for generator completion times.
- It might possibly lead to a game state that everyone hates less than what we have right now.
The points you made are very valid and should be added into the game but on a smaller scale as survivors would just complain.
But this change alone will not stop tunnelling survivors need additional methods of survival against a tunnelling killer. Like you said killers will gain a debuf if they hook different survivors but they should lose it all together back to 0% if they hook any survivor twice in a row. Survivors should have a basekit perk, I can't remember what it's called but when you get to a certain recovering progress you can throw a pallet on the killer. As this is basekit the perk can have no recovery requirement. This base kit will deactivate after 60s
-
Lament configuration
Chatterers tooth
Insidious
Sloppy butcher
That knight perk which makes you scream
Hex thrill of the hunt
"Please no tears 😢 they are a waist of good suffering"
-
Face camping Bubba is meta, so is basement Bubba.
-
Fair list
-
One change I would make and that would be you could only mori survivors who are injured just to give some counter play. As survivors in normal matches can't be bothered to heal as you get one hit down anyway. So it gives a sense of danger and paranoia over being injured making injured survivors being more desperate to be healed.
-
It has lots of potential i have to say. But the killer desperately needs more added to his base kit. The killer wishes just shouldn't exist tbh there to over powered, as for the survivor wishes they are unbalanced to. Why would a survivor wish for a chest to be opened when they can instantly complete 3 gens.
The idea as i said before has a lot of potential, I love secondary objective killers they add more game play mechanics for survivors to do in a trial. But to improve I would just straight out remove all the current killer wishes and survivor wishes and also the effect when survivors use a wish it gives him a token.
Plus an idea to further give you some support if you wish to rework this chapter why not have an effect like in the film when a survivors wish for something it can negatively affect everyone around them. Such as you wish for 100 percent extra healing speed but in the trial it removes 100 percent healing speed from a random survivor.
-
Yeah I understand, there is a lot to his kit but there is a lot to this character, i mean he doesnt need forced audie
-
Ngl I get more enjoyment playing twins than her. So satisfying getting a down with them.

-

-

-
Some ways I can think of to prevent tunneling are to give a survivor a new effect. If a killer hooks a survivor and immediately after they are unhooked chase them and down them again the next time they are off hook they are given an effect.
This would be similar to off the record. If the killer downs the survivor they can't be hooked at all, die due to bleeding out neither be mori. This will waste time and punish the killer for tunnelling. This effect can of course be removed. If the killer hooks at least one other survivor the effect will be removed permanently.
The effect to confirm will be active till another survivor is hooked.
For gen rushing I have something small but rewarding for killers who hook survivors. They should add a base kit pain reconnaissance. A small 3-5 percent regression to the generator with the most progress.
-
was he running four slowdowns?
scratched mirror build as well?
-
thats me i think
