Some quality of Life updates.
-If a survivor was wielding a lantern and then hooked or turned into an effigy, they gain a +10% to their unhook chance.
-Survivors who were hooked or turned into an effigy will have their lanterns relocated to a random other location. Survivors can see the auras of nearby lanterns in white if within 10 meters of one. The auras of distant lanterns can be seen if they are within Shadow-perimeters. Demonic Essence will not consume the Lantern, it will still be relocated, but the add-on will still work as described. Lanterns can only be consumed by burning an effigy or rescuing a survivor who has been made into one.
-If a survivor dismantles an effigy by any means, they are highlighted with Killer instinct for 4 seconds.
-A survivor cannot be turned into an effigy if within 6 meters of a Hook or Generator. Newly placed Effigies also cannot be placed near Hooks or Gens either.
-If a you are chasing a survivor through a shadow-perimeter, you are no longer invisible.
-Effigies can only be temporarily disabled once, per effigy.
-Since this killer comes with a baked in version of Insidious, picking that perk would grant a plus +100% to the deviousness category, for the Scarecrow only. -
With the chapter releasing next week, I wanted to share an alternate idea I had for the Unknown's power and perks as I was admittedly dissatisfied on his PTB release. Over time he has grown on me, but I still wanted a power that reflected what I thought he would be like from the Teasers and Trailers. One that reflected his Urban Myth status and his mimicry/shapeshifting capabilities while still keeping elements people did like on our true killer.

In hindsight, Behind the Curtain feels a little too strong in a vacuum and I think attributing it to a HEX could help with balancing.

I could not think of a reasonable way to include the shark from JAWS as I think adding the dimension of water within Dead by Daylight would kill a lot of the flow for the game. Making a "land shark" seemed like a lame idea and I personally love Martin Brody as a character so I thought his introduction would suit the game better rather than the shark's. Maybe if his arrival came with the Amity Beach at night, with a ton of washed up carcasses, perhaps even a rare chance to see the shark in the distance, that would be very neat.

Thinking on it again I screwed up with the naming of the first perk "autophagy". It was meant to be named "Hematophagy" which means blood consumption, the word "autophagy" means cell degradation. I just messed up there cause I'm dumb and can't edit it so yeah, whoops.

If anyone wonders why I made the beast a quadruped (walks on four legs), it's to further distinguish him from both other werewolves in media because I feel they're more rare than two-legged werewolves and the Demogorgan who already has a werewolf-like body shape. The quadrupedic werewolf would only really get on two legs to put a survivor atop the hook.
