I figured out what happened. My xbox was spazzing out and defaulting to PC rgb... after i updated this game? When i put it on default everything is back to normal like it was pre 5.1 update.
Going to try this.
Anyways ty to all who took time to answer my questions.
Thought I might be seeing things.

This is a screenshot from my Xbox One X. The game is absolutely that dark and Claudette's are impossible, which is why I sometimes maybe tunnel them.
It's this dark on my ps4, but I coulsworn it wasn't that dark before the update.
By stiff I'm not meaning lag, but like you're doing the robot dance when swinging? Lol.
Not a fluid motion but like a very stiff swinging motion.

Whenever I get a bad match and I'm barely able to almost get 1 kill and the whole team suddenly crowds the hook and marches Saving Private Ryan style to the gates and then...well they teabag.
Lol, it's all good fun though.

I miss every shot as DS, lol.
But wiggling is good, keep practicing on a moving target and sooner or later, your tracking should improve and the shots will flood in.
If you practiced on still.l targets then I'd feel you'd have a harder time improving.
I remember playing Legion and not really good at chaining hits, but after sooo many misses I'm now a pretty good slasher.

On ps4 I'd say for every 3 mean messages, I get 5 nice ones.
Some people might just be having a bad day, or simply don't know how to react.
I find just keeping a cool head prevents escalation.
After all, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

Fight the lag slightly and collect some.

As legion I get a slight freeze if in frenzy or if I'm defending a hook.
I was waiting to grab a survivor when they went for the unhook, I went left they went right, I followed, then a 3 second freeze and we were both just like six steps away from the hook looking in opposite directions.
It was so funny I just gave her the unhook.
Only time it was really bad was on Yakoma Estates, everyone was in the basement, I honestly into frenzy and it was like a six second freeze, totally solid and when I pop back, I'm in the basement alone just standing there.
