  • The thing I hate about her is that her hitboxes are pure bs. She is throwing skyscrapers instead of hatchets most of the time.

  • I used to main Deathslinger and to this day, I still am really sad about the unnecessary nerfs. They truly gutted him. He was already a worse huntress before his nerfs and was never a high tier killer. Also he was far less obnoxious than the S tier killers.

He had and still has a huge weakness: map pressure. Deathslinger has a strong 1v1 but struggles hard to not be gen rushed.

Deathslinger now is a joke compared to pre-nerf. He feels clunky and slow. To be honest I would be so so happy if they reverted or at least buffed him so that I can again enjoy my favorite killer in the game. Deathslinger now is high skill ceiling with mediocre at best reward for being good.

  • I think it's one code per account.

Yeah I’ve been wanting her to be balanced for a while even as someone that would die for her. I’m glad she’s going to be rebalanced and has a higher skill ceiling and I do think she’ll be fair with this change. I’m mainly worried about Iron Will as I feel like they will be impossible to down.

Yeah I also can imagine it must suck to see your favorite killer get hated so much while it isn't your fault she's designed like that. I hope the changes will both satisfy killers and survivors and still keep her in high tier. I mostly play survivor atm but I wouldn't want to see Spirit get gutted because that also would suck.

depends on the size of the fart clouds and I never cared whether she was fair or unfair, strong or weak

It's nice to see people genuinly loving the character will keep playing her wheter she's weaker or not.

  • Yes! I will definitly try to play her now that she isn't cheap bs without counterplay anymore. I always liked her design and lore.

@TheGannMan Do you and most other Spirit mains feel good your favorite killer is fair now? I've seen mixed reactions the past days. I hope for you she will still be viable and you can enjoy her, but just more skilled and less hated by survivors (including me lol).

Edit: I also think we will now see who mained her because of the love for the character and who mained because how OP she was.

  • Could be because of the way you can interpret the voice line or because of all those "funny" 16 year old boys making dumb jokes about it. Either way it's really dumb to simply remove it because of this. Worst case scenario the voice line is a meme in the community and that's it.

  • Unfortunately I don't have Jill yet but this perk is the one I want most from her. Really handy perk.

Also do I see a salty killer in the screenshot? I guess this is what happens when you actually "just do bones"? Lol

Edit: I don't know if you're solo survivor or with a group but if you go solo I would always bring small game since then you know for sure how many totems others have done.

  • I see it as an anti tunneling perk. After the nerf I don't think it's that crutch anymore.

  • Nurse is stronger than Spirit but Spirit is easier to play than Nurse. If fully mastered Nurse is the big winner for me.

  • I really like I'm all ears on Deathslinger. Although Pyramid Head might be even a better fit but I don't play him.

    I am a very frustrated killer :) but i don't main it.

I mean i can't think of another perk that can drastically change the game and is a big threat, maybe devour hope.

With ruin i can't say that any hex perk is that useful because a survivor can find it within the first 10 seconds of a trial then you're stuck with 3 perks for the rest of the match. I don't see how that's labeled "strong". Why should i have to rely on the trash totem placement to randomly give me a good one when there should be things to take care of that like, not being able to spawn near a certain distance of a survivor. You have to have some chance to protect it. Undying helps but then again, if they get found very early then you're shin kicked for the whole match.

Survivor is a little easier to get away with going off meta builds. If you're a good looper then perks sometimes don't even matter at that point.

If you go to the other side on killer i think there's a lot of little things that can give so much bonus time for survivors to do gens.

Actually you're 100% right on the hex perks. I see them as a sort of the strongest perks in the game but with the risk of it being cleansed before it pays off. Believe me many times my ruin gets cleansed in the first minute of the match but other times it wins me the game. It's high risk high reward.

I think the survivor equivalent would be exhaustion perks but they're not really risky or removeable like killer hex perks. They just have a cooldown.

Also I am sorry if I came off as snarky in my previous comment. I had a rough day and didn't think twice before typing lol.

  • OP seems like a frustrated killer main... (I get killer is frustrating sometimes, I play it myself, but keep in mind both sides have their OP and weak things)

"NOED is the only strong perk killer has". How can you even say that unironically. It's a cheap perk (like dead hard for survicors) mostly used by bad or new killers but I wouldn't call it the only strong perk. Ruin, pop, bbq,... are all very good perks and a good placed ruin alone can win the game for the killer sometimes. People need to stop sleeping on whispers. It's a very useful perk and gives a lot of information. I'm all ears is bad you say? It happens to be pretty damn strong on my main killer (Deathslinger) and Pyramidhead.

If you want to be sweaty and steamroll games you must use meta perks yes (goes for both killer and survivor) but no one is stopping you from trying out chiller builds. Me and my friends love to experiment with non meta builds when we're playing survivor (because full tryhard builds are lame in our eyes) and I think it's fun to try off meta builds on killers too.

  • I like playing Yun-Jin because of her colorful cosmetics. The reason why I like to main Deathslinger is because of his power. His power is really fun and feels very rewarding for landing good shots.

  • It's not bannable, just extremely sweaty.

  • I think most people just really hate NOED because it rewards awful killers with cheesy kills. Especially in low ranks. Imo it's a very poorly designed perk. When playing killer I never equip it because it just feels so cheap and unsatisfying getting kills through NOED. NOED just screams "I'm bad at the game so I need some crutch so I can kill people and say ez in endgame chat". People say "just do bones" but that's really hard when you are on a map like Midwich. Also against actual good killers you don't have enough time doing totems. If me and my friends play survivor we almost always totem hunt but it's sometimes not possible vs opressive killers.

I can understand however that some survivors say they don't have a problem with NOED because it often creates exciting end game scenarios but more often than not it just rewards a bad killer. I'm not saying it's not balanced or OP because it's not, but it's just poorly designed.

Here is an idea: NOED doesn't give insta downs, but instead makes it so that every survivor is dead on hook during EGC, and it won't affect those who are already on the hook by the time it activates. This way it still remains deadly, but good survivors actually have a chance to avoid it by not getting downed.

I REALLY like this idea! It would still be a very dangerous perk but prevent a good survivor from getting instadowned and die on 1st hook in the endgame.

  • I am a Deathslinger player and play both sides. I might be a bit biased because I play him but I don't see anything wrong with him. He either gets rewarded for landing a shot, or punished for missing one. But I can understand that some players find him annoying to go against. Though he has counterplay unlike Spirit so he's not a real problem imo.

I agree his add ons could be taken a look at!
