To anyone who disagrees, can you please just use your imagination to see how many changes the killer role will undergo to become stronger?
If this change were to go out, they would HAVE to buff killers to compensate. When you think about the possible changes they can make to killer, doesn't it get you excited? Also, it would make the game more balanced overall!

It's just unnecessary.
Players have already bought the game and the DLC to experience the full content. They added the store to sell more cosmetics, something almost every player used to their advantage.
Adding a BATTLE PASS is just being greedy. Just sell more cosmetics and add more DLC if you would like more revenue.
Games that start off free benefit from a Battle Pass the most from my experience. Unless the Devs plan on making DBD a free-to-play game(I feel like it's too late but never say never), they need to cancel this greedy attempt at making more money.

Unless you would like to give the killer a machine gun, do not cleanse AT ALL. Even if all the gens are popped, do not cleanse.

Better have more vaults if the pallets are becoming less safe
Exactly. Bring more vaults if you're gonna make almost every pallet unsafe.

Repair tools is a common idea.
Killers biggest problem is the first 45sec or so. Survivors Spawn in and all start working on gens while the killer has 0 pressure. This typically results in 2 gens popping as the killer gets his first hook.
Giving the survivors a 30 - 45s task at the start would have a significant effect.
That idea sounds pretty cool. Where would you find them exactly?
-
Revert the Momentum change they made to the vaults so I can't get hit through the window. :)
-
I've had this idea also but I never made a thread about it. There really is no reason why we can't just choose which one to prestige lol.
This idea probably won't go through because most players have already P3ed someone....unless they allow us to choose...

Except I didn't say that about any of those perks. Kind of irrelevant. And I've been playing the game for years so I already know everything you just said, but thanks I guess.
Except it isn't irrelevant. You said "Not everything they add is in response to something" which is untrue. The perks I mentioned were added because of the complaints by the community.

Well if you can find some proof or get a dev to say so then I'll agree. From what I remember Haunted Grounds was directly inspired by a fan made perk from Reddit.
There are many perks in this game that were released because of the community's complaints. Before Borrowed Time and BBQ&Chili were released, many survivors complained that the killer could just proximity camp their teammates since they didn't have much incentive to leave.
Upon release, Borrowed Time protected both the hooked and unhooked survivor from being downed against camping killers.
In the instance of BBQ&Chili, killers were given the ability to see other survivors TO go after them instead of camping the hook to guarantee a kill.
It's the same with Spirit Fury and Bamboozle. Killers complained that there were so many Pallets on a map that a survivor can run them for 2+ gens.
The developers themselves decided vaults were too strong just based off of the nerf on the survivor's ability to fast vault. People still complained about the length of chases because of the "infinites" like the shack and the ironwork vaults so they created Bamboozle.
To say these perks weren't inspired by the community's complaints is just being unobservant.

Wasn't 2.5.0 Spirit's midchapter update?
I'm not sure

Itd get repetitive XD
I mean it already is... especially at rank 1.
All you see are Huntress, Spirit, Hillbilly, and Nurse. Everyone else is rare for me.

-Michael Myers
-Nurse
-Hillbilly
Every other killer needs to be removed. These 3 are the only ones I enjoy going against <3

I disagree, when Spirit was released, it was the peak of this problem (at least for me) I kept getting hit 2-3m away from the vault (on the other side).
Rather than all, I'll say most for you.
In 2018, It never happened to me. All of these BS hits started happening after the momentum change in 2.5.0.
-
In 2018, you wouldn't have been hit.
Most of these complaints about being hit through a window when you have clearly moved out the way are mainly from THIS year(so are the observations of survivors fidgeting around the ground after being hit through a window after a vault). This is because of the momentum change they made to survivors after vaulting.
If you look back to videos of DBD BEFORE this change, you wouldn't see any of this.
-
You can tell a lot of people didn't play before these momentum changes. They bring up these nonsensical excuses as to why it SHOULD have hit.
All you can do is laugh really. No one asked for the nerf, but I doubt the developers will revert it back lmao
-
What's interesting is it wasn't like this in the past. :)
Ever since they changed the "momentum" after a vault, it has been like this.
A lot of people will argue it was SUPPOSED to hit because killers can extend their arms.......even though it wasn't possible before. I don't think they'll change it back, my fellow survivors. 🤬🤬🤬
-
I am still awaiting this beauty....since the moment it was brought up.
Devs, so many people have suggested ways to implement the costume so it can adhere to the 3-part system; where is the outfit? 😡
-
There is no reason for this skin to not be in this game. They really thought this wouldn't be brought up again? I know ya'll are capable enough to bring this to DBD so what's the hold up besides irrelevant excuses?
And to whoever thinks it doesn't fit the dark and thrilling atmosphere of DBD, SANTA is literally in this game; the brightest outfit in this game I believe.
Just call Feng Min's bunny cosmetic a halloween outfit upon release and call it a day 😑
