'Inb4 all the NOED, DS, BT etc comments. No. Nobody likes you.' "guys you can only talk about the perks I don't run or else I'll tell my mom that you don't like the perks I run :(" honestly the only 2 perks I hate seeing are bamboozle and NOED (yeah I said it). They're both not amazing perks or anything, but they both serve the same purpose of "me run this perk to switch off brain because me can't play the game". I don't hate seeing any survivor perks because they aren't that impactful on the match as a whole if I'm playing survivor.
If you're implying I use those perks, I do not. I only said that because I thought everyone would jump on those immediately from the start and wanted to stop that from happening.
And ironically, I forgot Self Care existed.
Mistakes were made.

"The escape rate with it isn't very high"
Sure, the people using it don't get out, but their three teammates do. There's your problem. More often than not, this one perk lets one player sacrifice themselves for about 3 other escapes.
But the behind-the-scenes stats won't tell you THAT. Hence why they aren't always very reliable to use as a balancing tool.

"I do what I have to for my team. They don't."
They why is it "stupid killers playing video game" and not "stupid survivors ruining my games"?
If they aren't gonna help you, just hide and let THEM get downed. No point being the bait for a useless team. Use them as bait instead, and maybe they'll learn from their failures. Behold the no-bones counter to NOED; sacrifice the non-boners to teach them a lesson.
Here's a life lesson for everyone: if someone is causing a problem for you, make it THEIR problem instead.

It's like asking why Aura Readings work between floors.
It's an AREA. Basically a sphere centred on your character.
This here ^
Fundamentally, your Terror Radius is not a ring, but a literal bubble. Static Blast goes through the whole bubble, including above and below you.

I know Almo said they are going to rewrite the networking code to make it work with the client-server architecture. But he also added that they are going to make changes to how it functions.
So what exactly are you going to change? What's your goal? Nerfing, buffing it or something else?
We may not be getting any gameplay changes to it. The team said that the priority was the coding changes and that functional changes are a maybe.
Not saying we aren't getting new functionality, but don't get your hopes up.

These may be lost in the endless sea of comments, but what the hell. Two perks!
I have more stored away, but they're not quite as cool as these ones.
Uninvited Guests
At the beginning of the Trial, Survivors become cursed by Uninvited Guests. While Cursed, Survivor’s Repair, Heal, Search, Sabotage and Cleansing speeds are reduced by 12/16/20%.
Once a Survivor has been put into the Dying state or a Generator has been repaired, Uninvited Guests deactivates.
(This is meant to be an alternative to Corrupt Intervention, and a slight take on the concept/request of an Early Game Slowdown mechanic)
Silent Echoes
While a Survivor is hooked, all Survivors are Oblivious while they are more than 40/32/24 meters away from the hooked Survivor.
(I'm just proud of this one. Rewards objective play with a cool buff, gives stealth to killers who don't already have it, and encourages Survivors to approach the hook which can be dangerous for them)

Gonna just repeat MY old arguments for this, but I've done 4 WITHOUT these perks or items, still made all the saves and died in 1 hook and ONE HIT because NoED.
The OP also said that the "do bones" argument is not realistic as we, as solo players, have as many things to do and contend with as the killer. Bones are a priority, but so's keeping alive the other 3 meatsacks that we have to call teammates so we can DO said bones.
Equipping perks is also unrealistic as we only have 4 perk slots. And, well, they're usually taken by perks more necessary for immediate survival. I never run Adrenaline because of the fact that endgame is a maybe.
And Avis, it does reward bad killers. As much as it does bad survivors, if not more. It is a perk that says "You're doing badly and losing, here's Exposed. The strongest status in the game. I'll even hide it for you too!" and that's just wrong. Devour Hope is the ONLY other perk to do so, but you have to earn that.
Please don't take this as a personal attack, but someone has to say this eventually.
First, you admit that you did the bones, and your three teammates did not. Your solution is to blame the KILLER for the inactivity of your own TEAMMATES who did not contribute to an objective.
Why don't you just blame the killer for not doing gens, too.
And second, I've seen how you play. I know you. And it's pretty much always the same. You are suspicious that they have NOED. You, WITH SPINE CHILL, get on a gate to open it.
Spine Chill is active.
You can hear the Terror Radius getting louder and louder.
You know they are coming.
Despite this, you stay on the gate until you have LOS to the killer, and TO NO SURPRISE, they chase and down you.
Also, to even LESS surprise, your scared teammates ditch you, and you die.
Now, I'm not implying anything here. But I'm sure some players might handle this situation differently than described above.
I would be interested to see what results they have.
Again, not a personal attack. Just food for thought. Don't @ me.
