My god it's 9 out of 10 games,
Yeah no, this never happened. -

Neither do you. If Ghostface is as weak as you say, looping him doesn't mean you're a strong Survivor.
It does mean im a strong survivor, hence why I call him weak. You called him strong because you are not good at looping him, not me.

And yet I've seen Ghostfaces take down some really strong teams. You only think Ghostface is weak because he's not an S-Tier.
I mean I just watched Ascent vs Invictus and the ghostfaces on both sides only got like 4-5 stages and thats WITH survivors perk restricting themselves too. Survivor is so strong against ghostface (and other killers) they perk restrict themselves fyi
I don't think you know what a "really strong team is" which checks out considering you think ghostface is a strong killer. This circles back to an earlier point I made too: You guys play killer so little you have no idea the difference between actual good survivors, and baby survivors. I promise you guys arent amazing killer players because you get 4k5s with no addons/no perks and somehow everyone else who says they are struggling is bad at killer. -

Of course I wouldn't tunnel you out. I'd rather lose than tunnel, because it's such a BS "skill" as you call it.
I didn't say you wouldn't, I'm saying you couldn't. As in it takes skill to chase and down someone who actually knows how to play survivor. You think ghostface is strong which tells me all I need to know about your looping skills.

"Worst Killers" according to whom? There are no "worst Killers". There's only strong Killers, and then the S-Tiers like Nurse, Blight, or Ghoul. Any Killer can become unstoppable if the player is skilled enough with them and put on powerful builds.
Then again, skill isn't even needed for Killers when they only need to tunnel or slug.
Another massive self report. Even the best ghostfaces in the world can get 4 outed with a couple hook states. Just because you have trouble looping a ghostface, doesnt mean everyone does. This community has too much of a problem with "If this happens to me, it applies universally" no no, only YOU are having trouble looping a ghostface.
I'm also willing to bet you couldn't tunnel me or any of my friends out, which is weird because people always say tunneling takes no skill (no skill means even a fresh install can do it) -

You're running Franklin's, Weave Attunement, Spies, and Ruin with an insta-down stealth Killer. Lots of powerful advantages there. I wonder what the tally screen showed for that lobby?
This is a massive self report because ghostface is known as one of the top 5 worst killers in the game. The only people who think ghostface is strong is tiktok, and tiktok dbd is awhole another planet. I am a KILLER MAIN and I have no issues looping a ghostface, yes ive had plenty of times I outlooped the entire expose 60 second timer. Don't tell me this killer main is better at looping then you are?
And in regards to Cogsturning I do agree with you there. I think what would help the killer experience improve is having a natural progression to the difficulty of survivors that killers face. If I dont continuously face good survivors, how will I improve as a killer? -
Please check the photo I posted above, it was me playing ghostface during the last anniversary. Either I am some amazing 1v1 god and Esskie and Stalkedd need to move over and make room for a new rank 1 ghostface player, or these survivors were trash. That photo I posted is what YOU think playing killer is like, because you don't play enough killer and have not gotten into lobbies with people that force you to tunnel. Any actual killer main will tell you that photo is a baby lobby.
-
Just an FYI but there is a cheat that allows survivors to fast vault in situations they shouldn't. The most obvious is when they are standing directly next to the vault, basically touching it and not moving, then do the fast vault animation instead of medium vault
-
If im better then you, then I should 4k, doesnt that make sense?
Again upload some footage my man. You sound like an amazing killer player because you can get 4ks without tunneling and slugging. Heck we should send that footage to Otzdarva too since he has 14k hours and still has to tunnel/camp -
You sound like an incredible killer player, would love to see some of this footage of you 4king without tunneling and slugging and camping! We could all learn a thing or two from you.
Also it's not subjective. You either do certain things correctly while playing killer, or you don't. -
I just want to state for the record I have never seen someone that complains about camping and tunneling also be good at the killer role. Every singular person that has commented "I can 4k without tunneling/slugging/camping" I will always click their profile(reddit, insta, twitter, tiktok, whatever) out of curiosity. Sometimes they are youtubers or streamers.
If they are one, amazing, now I can see how they play since maybe I can learn a thing or two about killer, makes sense right? I've sat there and watched their killer gameplay and they are awful at killer and do the most obvious mistakes. They will play TL walls/shack incorrectly, not hide their red stains in chase, eat every single pallet stun, lose most of their 50/50s, get spun out occasionally, and ive even seen them chase survivors around a tall rock for a solid 20 WHOLE seconds.
To this day I STILL have not run into a person that says they can 4k without tunneling/slugging/camping also be good at killer.

This was answered awhile ago, reddit thread is here https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/1o54age/elvira_can_never_come_to_dbd_as_a_survivor_due_to/
TLDR: Can't because Elvira is not supposed to ever get hurt. Kind of like how all the stranger things characters were all upped to 18 years old because they cannot kill minors in a video game. -

I think this is a terrible idea to be honest, and it doesn't sound fun. While tunnelling can be an unpleasant experience for the survivor, it is a tactic used by some killers for several reasons: Lack of killer experience, toxic survivor, survivor initiated chase for gameplay advantage such as distracting the killer. If tunnelling is an unpleasant experience for some players, I would use in game items such as pallets, windows. I would also use perks that could help with the in-game experience.
With aspects to gen rushing, I'd like to know what the problem is? If gen rushing as some call it is a bad experience for the killer, then I would suggest the killer adopt new playing styles to counter gen rushing. There are perks available that can assist you with that such as blocking generators.
Simply put, there will always be portions of the game that survivors and killers will find to be unpleasant we as survivors and killers need to adapt and adopt during our time in Dead by Daylight. I wish you the best of luck in the fog, hope to see you in the game sometime.
For context I am a killer main (p100 blight who loves tunneling) and was just offering an absurd idea to appease the survivors who claim they "cant play the game". I know it's a terrible idea, getting rid of tunneling all together is terrible as well.

So you actuall just agreed to what I said. Or are you implying that people who do not 4k as killer arent allowed to say that killer is easy?
I'm sorry I don't know what you're asking. Yes I have seen and I regularly watch skilled killer mains.

i mean there are examples where you can say, "this killer, playing at a high level is very difficult." i won't argue against that.
but even still, you can still say "this killer, played poorly, still has a higher kill rate than the escape rates of most of the survivors in the game."
that's the crux of these arguments.
further, i have almost an 80% kill rate across the board on every killer in the game. i'd also say i'm not a good killer. i'd also say i get easily dumpstered on by good teams. and most of the games i play as a killer DON'T FEEL MEANINGFUL because they are so easy. it's like 3 out of every 4 games i play require very little effort on my end to perform well. but then i can randomly get dumpstered by a good team of survivors and that feels really bad. and i might feel like there was nothing i could do, because their team was too efficient, too good at looping, used all their resources well. they easily destroy me. okay, and then the matchmaking gives me "3 easy games" where i kill everyone. then i go into another game and get dumpstered on by a good team again. this is what i'd argue actually feels bad about the game right now. games are too one sided. it's like the game is either too easy and unrewarding, or you just get straight destroyed by much better players.
Do you mind posting some of your killer gameplay for us? Remember what I said in my original post, people that claim killer is easy have survivor main posts/comments. You've complained and talked many times about tunneling or are sharing your survivor builds, but are also a great killer player and have an 80% kill rate on EVERY killer?

@Dinadin said:
So you just havent seen any skilled killer main til now? Thats all your posts resorts to?
No, all I watch are killer mains on youtube and twitch, some of them comp players, some of them world record holders for their killer they main.
My post resorts to "Man im struggling in these matches. I'm also seeing similar sentiment from other killer mains all over reddit/youtube/twitter. Wait this person online says I need to get better at playing killer and im bad for resorting to tunneling and camping? Aw man. Wait they're a streamer too! Let me watch them a bit and maybe I can learn what they do…. oh their game play is terrible. They're vaulting a TL wall too??? Why are they not double back or trying to mind game at this tall rock they've been holding W at for a whole minute? They're losing all their 50's and getting pallet stunned so many times too. This is the person telling me im bad at killer and they get 4ks every game?"
Yeah pretty much that lol. -

But that's also someone who makes money off the game. I dont think these people should ever be used as an example of anything. I pretty much constantly advocate for the game revolving around the avergae players, but if this is the example, the 50-match-a-month everyman, this would 1) also apply to this sort of player playing survivor, and 2) should be handled by matchmaking. This person would probably also not be a very good player, like you're looking for, just an average one, unless they used to play more. And if matchmaking worked (it doesn't) it should be the solution. If you're actually very good you're opponenents should also be very good, and it should be a struggle for everyone involved. The issue is, as always, matchmaking.
But there also seems to be some people who think they're very good but are also always mad at the game, so at that point I have to wonder if they're actually good or if they cheesed their way to an MMR they don't belong in.
Stress is also something of a choice. Go hard and you'll get stressed. I had that issue recently, where I was worrying more about outcomes than enjoyment, and I've taken a step back with a killer I have fun playing, regardless of results, amd it's helped my mindset a lot. If I found the role that aggravating though, I just wouldn't play it, especially if no ones paying me to do so.
This is a very solid point and I totally agree. Matchmaking does need a looking into (they said they would in 2026) and far too many people think they are better then they actually are "I get 4ks without tunneling/slugging/camping" while also chasing a survivor around a tall rock for an entire minute

Worked up? But he's winning a lot, isn't he? This goes back to what I already said. Having to work for a win is not a real complaint. It's not supposed to be handed to you. It often feels like the people complaining have high KRs and just want more, and they want it to be easier. Killer is, for me, the higher stress role. I don't ready up expecting (or wanting) a 4k at 5 gens, and I wouldn't play the higher stress role if I couldn't handle the higher stress.
I guess what im trying to emphasize is that if a 14k hour player who plays this game for a JOB is getting stressed out, what about all the average players? You know, those same players that vote to have 2v8 extended. Those are the majority of the dbd player base. The guys who get off work after 8 hours then hop on a couple killer matches in dbd.

Knightlight is an extreme example and like one of the top players in the world. The streamers I mentioned are good but not top of the world good. You can't use the very high end of the spectrum for measuring things. Knightlight says killer is easy, so bhvr doesnt need to listen to the rest of the killer population on gen speeds and survivors being hyper efficient and survivor perks combos that break the game? I'm pretty sure even Otz gets worked up in this killer games and he has 14k hours.

@azaxydbd said:
Knightlight and many other good killer players said that public killer is ultra easy, aside from myself im over 12k, killer is public overall is easy, the only problem we currently have is cheaters dsync map rng and mmr.
Knightlight plays this game for a job, not for fun. Bad example. Also 5-10 killer players in the world doesn't represent the rest of the people that play killer.
By your logic we shouldn't buff Trapper because there's people out there who have gotten multiple 4ks in a row as Trapper. -
@ArcT said:
If it was truly difficult, then the skilled ones wouldn't need to burden themselves with additional handicaps to make winning more than a few games in a row impressive, and the ones that don't use handicaps wouldn't be able to win hundreds, if not thousands of games in a row without them.
Survivors that are struggling are constantly told they just need to learn to play better. The same goes for killers that are struggling. Both are suffering from severe issues that are an absolute and complete failure of the developers to balance the game correctly, match players of appropriate skill against each other, and create an environment where players feel their time and effort is correctly rewarded.
Keep in mind the killers who are handicapping themselves, play this game for a job. They don't play it for fun, they play this game to pay their bills. Big difference between them and the average guy who gets home after an 8 hour shift and wants to log on dbd for a couple matches per day.

@Aven_Fallen said:
I have never seen that any of those people who claim that Killer is hard are actually skilled.
It's mainly killer mains that say this, and these killer mains happen to be youtubers/streamers so we can see their game play. We can see they are talented and skilled and they 90% play killer. Shinycatmae posted a video of them on Badham where they were deathslinger and maybe missed 3 shots the ENTIRE MATCH and still got 4 outed. I doubt anyone even reading this thread has that same kind of accuracy.
How is it survivor mains who barely touch killer, can 4k "every game" without tunneling and slugging and camping. However killer mains who spend every waking moment playing killer, somehow cannot? Nobody finds that odd? -
@runningguy said:
Blight is awful with controller but very easy with a mouse. i have tried both and can honestly say blight with a mouse takes very little skill. Blight and Nurse are both S tier, who do we see more of? Blight. Why? extremely strong and easy to use.
Listen I hear what you're saying and im not disproving it, but why are so many blights bad then? Most of my games usually 3-4 out the blights I see, very rarely ill run into a dedicated p100 blight main that rocks my ######### at 5 gens.
If blight is that easy, then you can't be bad at something "easy" right? -
@100PercentBPMain said:
you can just not use his power except for mobility and that still places blight entire tiers above Trapper because mobility is king and trumps everything.
he needs a real weakness
If you use his power for mobility and then just m1 all the survivors for a 4k, does it really matter what killer you played at that point?
