  • You guys are using the wrong word here, you are looking to "disable" the maps, not remove. Unless you quite literally mean ditch the maps and never come back to them.

You can't be sure its console when you see the globe because that person can also be on pc. Steam and the Microsoft pc see globes for each other too. Js

That is true but there arnt that many windows store players, or at least from what I remember.

  • Switch is also in the queue of players, not sure why but they are there.

You all say we can't identify pc players but we can. You guys are the only ones with legacy skins and the death garden mask.

Thats like, maybe 60 something people at max. Most times when people complain about pc players, I know they dont have 3 megs with the mask or 3 dwights with legacy. I will say though, I completely forgot only pc players have that stuff.

  • While I can agree on universal mechanics not coming in often, I have to argue that a new killer IS a new mechanic.

With PH release (easy example since newest) killers who play this killer have to know good spots on where to leave trails, know when to use their cage, how to make perk builds valuable with the killer, and how to use his ranged attack. Survivors need to learn audio queues to know the killer, audio queues on when he does something, how to avoid his trails, and how to avoid his range attack.

Each killer brings a unique experience that a survivor and killer player must learn. I cant treat a PH like a legion as a survivor, much like how I cant play billy like I play PH.

Also you cant tell me dull totems with no hex is a better gameplay mechanic than what a killer brings.

  • Here is my take, console players dont get to complain about pc because you dont even know if that crossplay person in your lobby is pc. Pc players shouldnt complain about console players because, while we know you are console, we now have 3 extra pools of idiots to add to our pool of idiot players who are braindead. Every group has idiots in queue, and much like before crossplay, you are gonna get a lot of them before you actually find the good players.

  • Im not here to start a war but please, I want one console player to prove to me they have a pc player in their lobby. As a pc player, I havent seen a fellow Hex:Devour Ass since before crossplay.

  • Im a killer main and I have to say I like swf. I like going against a team that has their crap together, but obviously isnt the legendary death squad lol. I will say though bhvr just needs to add comms so they can balance around the assumption everyone is talking, it will make changes come a lot quicker and encourage teamwork.

  • My experience may not speak for everyone and I dont mean this is a pc players are actually good, but I dont think you are playing pc players but rather other consoles. As someone who has been playing a lot and enjoying the new crossplay, ive seen like maybe 3 pc players ever. Its as if they all just up and quit tbh. Just dont forget, just because they have a globe, it doesnt mean they are pc as the globe also goes for switch, ps4, and xbox.

NOed Nurse tunneled one guy all game.

Asked him what was up, and they went on a whole rant how they were purifying the game one at a time from scumbag survivors.

(Guess they were getting revenge for being outplayed most of the game?)

Then they went on talking about their 144 IQ they claimed they had from some "test", yatta yatta so smart yatta yatta. When I questioned him further and they said I wouldn't understand, because i'm a toxic survivors main, which is ironic since I play more killer than survivor but whatever. That's a pretty normal interaction, kind of sad honestly.

I told them to check out my profile cause I told them I played both, and they sounded absolutely shocked that it was even a remote possibility to play both. So much for 144 IQ.

Then they just flamed for a minute about nonsense. The usual stuff, toxic this toxic that. Insult here or there. Sprinkle of slur. The standard stuff.

The only thing unique was how it was all introduced, then it turned into the standard rabble of a bad player.

I feel like that just sums up half the games community. (You are allowed to play both sides in this game?!?!)

I had a game yesterday vs doctor with a mori. When he killed everyone he said in post game chat "You russians deserve nothing". I can tell that everyone was playing normally but it looks like he was strongly insulted by russians earlier so now he has a preconceived hate to players with ciryllic nicknames.

Thats just harsh, I can maybe understand being upset towards people who play a certain character but to be upset towards a nationality due to one person just shows them being a smooth brain.

A survivor became really mad at me for downing them after they spent their entire Borrowed Time rubbing up against me like an affectionate cat.

That one always gets me, I have people with bt take a hit for a healthy person and then get salty when I go for them. The point of bt is to get a easy escape, not hump my leg like a dog.

  • Cmon guys, why is no one talking about trap daddy :<

I mean the purpose of ultra rare add-ons shouldnt be: the strongest add-ons in the game

It should be: very unqiue effects for different playstyles.

Yes certain add-ons are bad like the undetectable one for ph. The undetectable should last in my opinion like 10 seconds when stepping out of a trail. This way you can be jumpscare dorito face.

The irredescent one for deathslinger that makes a person exposed when shot 15 away is a good example of a fun ultra rare add-on. Is it good? Heck no, but it is fun to use as hell if you get it off.

Im not sure if its me but I have never seen ultra rare as just "fun" add-ons. (Yes, I know you never said they all are, it just confuses me what they are aiming for with them.) Iridescent head, Iridescent king, BNP, the pink medkit one or whatever its called, Michaels ultra rares, Trappers ultra rares? I dont really use those add-ons but they seem pretty good. All of these are simply put, extremely good add-ons. Now that it is mentioned I can see why some would be considered fun ways to change up a build but I just feel ultra rare shouldnt be the category they should fall into. I mean, this is the same category with skeleton key, ebony mori, and iri head. If the devs just outright said they want to make ultra rare fun type add-ons rather than good I would have literally no problem with that (however they still need to be better than crap tier.)

  • Im willing to say this map is fairly balanced due to how bad it is for both sides.

  • Anyone else remember the worst update ever added to dbd? The gold ol howling grounds of 2018. Im not sure who thought that making it so flashlight saves happened no matter when you blinded the killer during pick up was a good idea. It was somehow the worst and best experience I have ever had on dbd.

  • New ruin is very good. The problem falls on hex totems in general. Ive had games where it would be over in a second if I didnt have ruin on my 3 gen, the problem is is that 95% of the games it doesnt even last past the first gen.

  • The doorway is just bugged, survivors cant get in either.
