  • Let's put this in perspective. A killer main players a killer they use very little compared to others but still know get paired with survivors who have just started, barely started or first game ever. I will not acknowledge ranking anymore because everyone, including devs, have admitted that ranking doesn't mean anything anymore. I as a rank 1 survivor, was paired with rank 12 to 15 for most of my matches getting an occasional rank 5 to 8. MMR has done nothing but cause problems and half the time it doesn't even work. I have to willingly sacrifice myself so a killer can get a kill or be the only one who lives because my teams ranks are just like the killer's. Its unfortunate but until the devs listen to their community, nothing will change.

"Patrol gens" is what everybodys says Killers can't patrol every gen on the map In secs While in chase, can't patrol gens hooking a survivor. Then u say infinites wouldn't be a problem if u leave them alone? Yes let's let that person go so they can do a gen then while we start chasing that other person THEY ABUSE THE INFINITE AS WELL!! Everybody loves to abuse the infinites on some maps let killers get something going for them geez

Their are tools to your advantage. Use them. I've seen plenty of killers 3 gen a team, a good swf team. Goal of the game isnt just kills nor is the survivors goal to just escape. Want more pips, more sacrifices, more points, whatever it may be. Ending a game as fast as possible to camp a hook, focus 1 survivor, or solely focus gens will earn you a loss.

Infinites, bamboozle. Pallets, enduring, spirit fury, brutal strength. Gen rush, ruin, discordance, surveillance.

29% of killer perks go unused, 71% are very much used. 63% of survivor perks are hardly ever used, 37% perks are used. Approximately, this was all in self study of having the game since beta, the changes, the additions, 3000+ hours, having had the game since beta. This is my most recent finding though it may not be 100% accurate this is my experience as a killer and survivor.

Maybe the game mechanics and perks and sides complaints need to stop, rather maybe we just need to change game play style? Nah, ain't never gonna happen. LOL

Because some people want it where they can comfortably 4k and never have to sweat for it even though it’s an online multiplayer game against real, often highly skilled opponents. These ate your people that tunnel with freddy and take NOED and an ebony.

But survivors are expected to sweat for the escape? Nothing about this game is balanced. Either side. Survivors take more nerfs than anything the killers have had to go through. I have 3000+ hours in the game, rank 1 survivor and killer. I have seen both sides and see that changes are necessary but a lot of the nerfs or bluffs are truly unnecessary now.

Loops, Flashlights, DS, insta heal, sabo... the list goes on and on. Some of them were necessary but some were not. Toolboxes, yes. Extend the game, indeed. Sabo is just like 99'ing a hook now, just permanent (unecessary). Insta heals, I see the complaint and understand it. Keys are in talk for nerf, why? Because they used a means to secure their escape which is the goal of the game.

Survivor goal, do gens, get chased, save teammates, escape. (Doing one or two gets you nowhere.)

Killers goal, break, chase, hook (multiple times), sacrifice survivors. (Doing one or two gets you nowhere.)

The complaint comes down to play styles now. "Survivors are too toxic" or "killers are too sweaty." Listen, both sides are toxic and sweaty and becomes a damned match of who can be even sweatier. Nothing the dev's can do about that. Guaranteed.

I think it comes down to us as a community to actually play to have fun rather than try and but sadly, $1million says that will NEVER happen because people dont want that. They want more to benefit them because peeps be selfish. Make valid arguments compared to those who throw a tantrum and 9 times out of 10, its tantrum throwing.

  • Disconnecting on purpose, you deserve the penalty because it is a means to discourage DCs while game is active. I do agree that it needs fixed though as I was playing a match where two of my friends and I got kicked from the match midgame and we got slapped with the 3 to 5 minute penalty for the game failing us. At no fault of our own we were penalized for the game kicking us from the match, crashing, or someone's power going out. The dev's need to fix that for sure or just completely remove it because even as the idea itself was appropriate, its punishing those who dont deserve it.

Yeah people need to play both sides more to gain some empathy for the other side.

Balance is subjective, killers want a game with kills and survivors want to escape. Their opposed goals make it hard to see it as balanced if the other side achieves their goals.

I guess the best way is to make maps a bit smaller, but ofcourse then spirit, nurse, freddy become op, while clown my now become just viable.

They have to switch the emblem system for killers, allowing pips based on hooks , chases, gens protected, and not kills. At least then one could rank up, without sweating over kills, and maybe still see it as a win.

Definitely. Both sides should be played.

90% (I'm being facetious) of nerfs have hit survivors, granted mostly for balances but at this point, as someone who has had the game since the beginning, it just seems like we are giving the killers wins. 77 perks in total for survivors and yet roughly 63% of the perks go unused because survivors are forced to have those perks.

Killers are also forced into a olay style by survivors who want to be toxic by hook rushing, gen rushing, flashlighting over pallets, just straight up bullying. So play styles are forced from killers.

It comes down to I think people need to play both sides before I really find said opinion valid. I have been Rank 1 Survivor and Rank 1 killer with my mains being Huntress, Hag, and Billy.

  • I believe if their was a way to keep out the toxicity and trolls then they would have used it. There is no true way to do it and it is the sad reality of the socialite that comes with the internet. I wish there was a way to keep it civil and the outright "entitlement" that came from it away from us with civil and respectful criticism but there isnt. Not as a survivor main or killer main, but as a player with almost 3000 hours and having had the game since beta, I wish there was a way I could speak with the more civil side of players but there isnt. I knew that coming into this community and I've grown to accept it because no matter what multiplayer game I play, it will always be there.

  • While people may be upset about this, as a player who also plays a fair share of both sides, she needs a nerf. Any time I play spirit I easily get 3 and 4k's. There is no real counter to her power and the dev's do not want that as a power struggle in the game. Loops definitely need a little work done but when I play survivor I find that I can run a good game across the entire map. Getting mad about a killer who has most to no true counter getting a nerf is something that people really need to calm down. With almost 3000 hours in the game myself, 50/50 play for both killer and survivor. More nerfs have happened on survivor end, rather than killer. That's a fact.
