"As was said in the clip above, we know it's things that are wanted to be in the game, but right now other things are a priority."
I get fixing gamebreaking bugs, adding new and fun content, fixing, balancing as well as a bunch of other things may be a priority over this but bhvr has been adding things NOBODY asked for and that would be far lower on an objective priority list than adding a practice mode. It's obviously incredibly difficult and capable of nuking the whole game because of the spaghetti code I assume and that's why it hasn't been done yet. The devs understand the necessity for it and every single player would appreciate it.

I don’t know. It would be hard to practise with huntress or slinger or billy if the survivors ai didn’t try to dodge like normal players do which would be very hard to program.
You could still practice hitboxes, range, loop layout, look around new maps, all sorts of things, you don't have to program any AI or bots in to training mod but the option would be nice especially with decent AI. Just the ability to be able to go in to something solo and practice whatever that may be would be sufficient imo

It's been around since mid last year apparently

Sorry but behaviour doesn't like good ideas, come back when it breaks the game. Actually nvm, if they actually put this in the game somehow it would break.

Also was just on the demogorgon map, hawkins? and it seems to be happening there too

Nothing you can do buddy. People are just letting out their frustration on you and they would do it to anyone who might frustrate them. Some people can make a mean remark because of a bit of salt and others are just toxic or dicks just for the sake of it. Even if you goof around and no one dies and it's obviously just a fun silly game you've decided to have as a killer, there is a chance someone is gonna say "ez game baby killer" followed by some kind of other insult. Just don't take it personally, you're not doing anything wrong other than having fun. Even for killers who just face camp, if they're having fun that's fine. It's nice to think about other people but the devs are the ones who should make the game change if 1 person is ruining the experience of many. Because the game allows it so it's not really their fault, there is this made up etiquette (mostly by survivors) like "you shouldn't tunnel or facecamp" that people try to respect or not but it's stupid, there is nothing stopping people from doing these things which upset others. It's the same for the other side, killers can get bullied but that's because how the game is designed.

Everything looks nice except the high res portraits of the characters (who are ugly as #########) there are simple minimalist portraits that are just white and you can distinguish the characters easily, it might even save resources, someone made a really good example of this already so devs have the ability to do it too. The location of the HUD however is absolute trash. Having your eyes dart around for information while also keeping an eye on the game for the killer/survivor moving around as well as skill checks is going to have people going cross eyed. It's already given me a migraine from a single game. It would be so much better if it was at least positioned like before so we can just look at 1 place and with a single glance and see pretty much everything you need. I don't even want to imagine playing killer where you have to pay so much more attention to who is up or down and at survivor's statuses along with the limited vision killers have whil searching for survivors and following scratchmarks while trying to keep an eye on other things. This isn't an mmorpg where we have 200 skills and buffs/debuffs that has to fit somewhere on the screen. There is very little that needs to be shown, there is no need at all to spread it all over the place.

This update is a try not to laugh challenge
You mean try not to cry

This looks awesome, it's exactly how I'd want it. I don't need hyper detailed portraits of the honestly ugly looking characters on my screen at all times. Your design is perfect and the positioning is exactly how it should be, instead of being scattered all over

Holding the game hostage is one or more players making it impossible for the other players to leave the match without disconnecting (using the Leave Match option or closing the application.) There are many ways to do this and I will list a few:
Hiding and never doing gens.
Hiding and never opening the exit gates.
Bodyblocking a survivor into a corner so that they can't move.
All of these have to be done for a prolonged period of time with no indication that the other party is going ti ever stop. They also have to be done in a way that make it impossible to finish the game or die. Literally preventing the other player from ever leaving the match through any means other than disconnecting.
Okay, good to know. Like the first person I was talking to this about said: "it's not impossible for a killer to catch a survivor" which I kind of agree with but you can certainly prolong the game beyond it's intended length, just to be a jerk. How long is a prolonged period would you say? 10-20 mins going around hiding?
-
Yeah, I was talking about that with someone but they said a survivor is allowed to be a jerk and just hide even if they spend hours but now you tell me otherwise so idk anymore.. They said it's normally only killers that can hold the game hostage
