Reporting in-game is not enough, especially in the case of cheats it's imperative that you send in evidence in the form of a video clip. Because too often people accuse others of cheats when it was just a power or perk effect that did something they did not understand. You need concrete evidence of cheating to back up your report.
I wrote in up above that I made a report using email too.
And all the evidence in the four videos is clear, as the cheaters themselves didn't hide their cheats. -
I should have received a notification then because cheating falls under the Exploit category.

In-game report does not give notification of bans as I told you. They don't reveal that information for anyone.
Well then, why did I previously receive notifications about bans for those I reported, for example, last year?

Behavior does not inform if they ban people so you are never going to get any notification of it. Only thing they inform in game if some action was taken in other categories. I myself get usually notification if I reported someone exploiting something in the game.
Before sending the report via email, I also made an in-game report.
In any case, a notification should have been sent stating that the player I reported had been banned (even if it wasn't my fault). -

Haven't seen a cheater since the last 2v8 so yes its a quite a big out liner. Still most of the time when I see any claims of cheaters even if they provide "proof" the proof does not reveal cheating at all just misunderstanding what happened.
I sent everything to support.
4 videos for these 4 matches.
Like the fact that all the survivors are magnetically attached to each other at the start, with an animation as if they're being carried on someone's shoulder (creating the appearance of a human centipede) is clearly not cheating... -
@LinkToReality said:
I get it's upsetting if what you said is true, but considering I've had one cheater in my past like 50 games I feel like this was a massive outlier.
Yes, I play this game, and encountering a cheater in 4 out of 10 matches is pretty unlucky. But this says it's not impossible, and banning for criticizing this issue is somehow unfair.

Just stating that on this forum its against the rules to talk about bans so just for your knowledge.
Nothing negative can be discussed, I understand you.
Then I'll wait for the ban. -

For example that it massively increases your lunge, making it much easier to outplay loop. :) You're welcome.
So, how's this addon playing?
"It's really powerful and doesn't ruin the game for killer." (Sarcasm)
I already wrote that the addon is complete crap, lol. -
@Lexilogo said:
A lot of other people are already talking about the specifics of Foxy's Hook here (it's a solid addon) but I want to focus on this:
Why does Animatronic have addons that give bonuses to the survivor? Bonuses received from the killer should not exist.
I really don't understand why you'd be so close-minded about ideas like that. I think the idea of strong effects that also buff your opponent is a fun concept, and Celebrate Poster is a pretty fun addon. (though IMO they should revert the AoE)
Because something similar happened on PTB with the Ghost Face change. Survivors were increasing their speed with perks, medkit with addon, and killer's addon. And then the fun became only for one side.

I literally said that Survivors and Killers get the exact same movement speed bonus. What are you trying to argue?
Ah, sorry.
I didn't understand your message. I dumb. -
@VibranToucan said:

Nope. 4.0 m/s is treated as default speed. A killers normal movement speed of 4.6 is classified as 115%, and all haste speed bonuses are based on 4.0 m/s. 12% is 0.48m/s regardless of what side you are playing.
If from your point of view the addon makes a big difference in movement speed, then I ask you to post a video of several matches using addons for speed.

I already answered that I know.
But in practice the difference is not felt.
The difference is felt only when you do a lunge. -

And some people use the yellow bottles in chase as clown. Aloha.
That's probably why I rarely see Clown in matches...

It does affect your lunge, meaning your attack has longer distance plus it's much more to get hit with mindgames at smaller loops. So don't convince me about it.
-
That's the problem with addons, you only see the difference in the lunge. But it's not even that big.
Well, like I've been playing against Animatronics with addons for speed for a more times now and they can't catch me in the lunge either. -
I know, but in practice this speed is not significant. It is significant only when you lunge as a killer. But even if you take it for the lunge, the addon is still garbage because the difference in lunge is not big. And the difference in movement speed is almost unnoticeable.
-
@Rulebreaker said:
So why not treat it like Clown's yellow bottles since it practically has the same effect?
Because I use pink ones for chasing. Hello!

The bonus speed is the same for both sides, it does not increase the movement speed to overcome the loop during the chase. You're welcome.

Farming is not a bannable offense. The devs have stated that as long as nobody is being forced to farm against their will, Farming is not bannable.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/243095/is-farming-bannable
When they return the system against go next, when the killer wants to farm, the survivors will have to farm, otherwise measures will be taken against them for simply refusing to play.
And I write again, forced or not, this case is exploitation (exploit) for one's own benefit (for the benefit of farming).
This should be punished with a ban.
People who deliberately try to get to a specific killer will rightfully be banned for exploiting. -
@CountOfTheFog said:
That's not a cheat. Players who do that are farming bloodpoints with their friend as Killer.
They are trying to get the matchmaking to put them in a lobby with their friend as the Killer so they can all run Bloody Partystreamers and farm together.
Once they enter your lobby, they ask their Killer friend on Discord if they are their Killer, if they say no, they all search again and again until they are linked up.
This option exists in cheats.
It is impossible to say for sure.
Even if they are looking for their killer to farm, it should also be punished with a ban. I think there is no need to explain why here. -

So what you described happens in normal games on a rare basis, not sure how the game mode has anything to do with this issue.
I had the same experience with Friday the 13th. It was so ordinary there that I quit the game.
As rare as this may be, I have had experience with this in other games. And it doesn't make a positive impression on me. I wrote a post about this so that the moderator would convey at least some information about this problem. If you yourself witness this problem more than once, it will most likely ruin your overall impression of this mode. That's why this post with this problem exists.

You said it yourself.
if they haven’t done anything for the Knight in 30 years, why would you expect them to do something now??
It’s logical, but it seems like the developers really listen to the players. Otherwise, there would not have been a rework of Onryo, Legion, and the Skull Merchant when a year had not even passed since their release.

You know he losses collision when the guard hunts you?
A SWF isn't going to help you here at all. You still are going to get out or go down.
Again, re-read, I wrote why you won’t be able to pass by the bot while it spawns.

I hasten to please you. it's impossible against any killer. In addition, you can remember where these places are and not go to them
Well, somehow I was able to get rid of The Nurse and The Blight.

@kin said:

Well, there’s still nothing stopping you from running towards the guard when he noticed you (again, before he starts attacking, he needs to fly at a very low speed to the place where he noticed you) and continue running (the speed of all guards except one is slower or equal to the speed running survivor) you can also hide behind the wall. Even in this case, this killer can be easily beaten with shift+w, it may not be fun, but it is far from Op and often not even a 100% losing situation.
Please re-read the post.

Uh huh, I did.
Its barely legible but it seems like your trying to use the "save the
childrensolo q" argument when it clearly isn't.I get it you died to a Knight, but ffs hes fine, maybe needing a buff.
That is, I shouldn't play solo as a survivor at all?
I would like his ability to be adjusted because for a solo player, it’s a one-way corridor, or an enclosed room, it’s simply not possible to pass by him, when even against The Nurse and The Blight it’s possible.
-
@Nazzzak said:
Some maps you just have to play a bit smarter against certain killers. Knight relies on zoning, so yeah, an enclosed room is not the best place to end up in with him. Hit those gens when he's preoccupied with other survivors to get the walls to open and create more space.
How can I do this if I have no connection with my teammates? In some cases, a teammate will repair what they see, and then a triangle of generators сan happen. If the generator in that place was repaired and the door opened, that would be great, but few random teammates would risk it for a random teammate.
-
@BlightedDolphin said:
Your teammates can’t grab the flag. Only the person being hunted by the guard can grab it.
If the knight spawns a guard on the other side of a hallway, just keep running straight. There’s a delay from when the guard sees you to when it can hit you. You don’t have to run back into the Knight, just keep running forward and outrun them both.
@Xernoton said:
In other words: "Nerf Knight because skill issue."
You suggested some ways to counter a camping Knight yourself and I'll let you in on a little secret. You can just ignore the guard and unhook. This also makes it disappear.
