Did some research:
Adiris (the Plague) is obviously the eldest, she's from Babylonian times.
Evan (the Trapper) seems like he'd be from the Industrial Revolution, so probably the 1700s, or maybe even 1800s.
Philip (the Wraith) came from Africa to America, so he must have come in a time where things were really good in the US. Maybe somewhere around the 1950s? I don't know US history very well.
Max (the Hillbilly) is a mystery to me. His clothes seem fairly modern, so let's just say somewhere between the 1900s and 2000s
Sally (the Nurse) was kinda easy. Googled nurse uniforms and it seems like she was from between 1890s and 1900s.
Michael (the Shape) was also easy, because he's a licensed character. 1960s-ish
Lisa (the Hag) also isn't easy. All we can go on is the shackle in one of her addo-ons, which was apparently used between the 1800s and 1900s. (I assumed it was a "Darby type" shackle.)
Herman (the Doctor) used something called Electro-convulsive Treatment. According to Wikipedia, this was invented in the 1930s, so perhaps he was from around that time.
Anna (the Huntress), German soldiers passed through where she lived (Russia), so I'd say she lived during WW2. 1940s, maybe 1950s.
Bubba (the Cannibal) was also licensed, so between 1940s and 1990s, probably.
Freddy (the Nightmare) also licensed, I'd say between 1980s and 2010s, depending on which movie they got him from.
Amanda (the Pig) aaalso licensed, probably somewhere in the 2000s? I don't know the Saw movies very well.
Kenneth/Jeffrey (the Clown) well, his backstory says he was born in 1932, so there you have it.
Rin (the Spirit) judging by her add-ons, and small details like "she worked part-time", she sounds modern and might have been taken by the entity recently. My best guess is between the 2000s and now.
F.J.S.J (the Legion) is very obviously from between 1993 and 1996. You can tell by their add-ons and cosmetics.
Most killers seem like they're from the 1900s. These are just my guesses. Let me know if you think something is different from what I said. ^^
I thought that The doctor was from the 70s because I was reading the lore of Lerys institute and I do believe all the debacle was around 1970 (just checked the CIA transformed it in the 70's so that what time period the doctor is from.

Im probably way off but I just always thought that those were the clothes they got taken from the entity in, even if it contradicts their lore like maybe Alpine Frost Kate she was mountain climbing and she got taken.
-
I have thought of something similar like an extra slot for shoes but just combine them with the pants when bought or to be able to remove /turn off things like Kates pickaxe on her alpine frost pants. But I like your idea to!

That would be cool but for some reason my game doesnt play the cutscene. I have no clue why.

I like the way they look now I just kinda miss the old physics.
-
This would be terrifiying but is an interesting concept.

Isn't there a survivor you just kind of gravitate towards? Since all perks can be shared, a survivor is nothing more than a skin. Choosing a survivor to main is kind of like choosing an avatar: maybe you feel a connection with the one you choose, or maybe it just appeals to you aesthetically. Maybe one of the characters has an outfit that you really want to run around wearing.
When I saw the different survivors for the first time, back in Halloween 2018, Kate was my immediate favorite. I just liked the way she looked. She was the first character I P3'd.
I also love Ash, because it's Ash, but I still play as Kate more.
I agree I bought dead by daylight for Kate I saw her in Ohmwreckers ptb video for Curtain call and I just gravitated to her.

trust me, this has been brought up several times and the devs say no because it can give people unfair advantages. kinda stupid, to worry more about giving people who are already jerks advantages than giving disadvantaged people a fair game.
This is a good idea but how would that give people an unfair advantage just wondering.

I really like the new ones but I still do miss the old physics but the new ones are decent.
-
Ughh dont even get me started on a stranger things chapter.

Good Idea man! I can never remember how many totems i have clensed and with this I would actually clense them all.

Laurie out of all survivors is in desperate need of hair revamp. She has the ugliest most stiff hairdo the world has ever seen. There is no physics applied to her hair at all - they are just terrible.
True But I also want to see an option to give the survivors their old hair physics back.
