You can look in the „share your work“ section of this forum, there are many killer concept ideas for a Xenomorph.

Agile running, stealth, pounce similar to Demogorgon, eggs/facehuggers similar to pigs bear traps and some kind of acid attack (either activ like Plague or passive when stunned) are common ideas

I'll keep that in mind but I'll still look for suggestions, thanks.

i personally dont see it being a stealth killer, i feel their are far more killers out there that could fill those stealth roles and instead i would see alien being more on mobility as they really are very fast. i feel if they was to do this chapter getting the alien and hicks would be the best and easier pair, afterall hicks has been in games before and obvious alien and alien skins have been in so much. i see the killer probably having two abilities one of which would be a dash and sprint, not actually able to attack in this ability but provides huge speed and has an actual animation of the alien running across the floor on all fours. for the last ability i would like something to do with the tail, im not quite sure what, maybe a simple whirlwind whip (AOE) attack with a slightly bigger than normal range? (maybe while in that sprint you can quickly climb over pallets and windows as well to mimic the wall climbing)

Thanks for sharing your interpretation and I do get where your coming from but I feel like these are more reminiscent of the alien vs predator films while I'm thinking of solely the alien ones where theirs fewer xenomorphs but it performs smart and sneaky ambush tactics to slowly finish the crew.

  • I play a similar play style to you however more stealthy so I'll just tell you what I use.

Aftercare- A brilliant survivor aura perk for altruism so you can use the info and continue helping your team.

Botany knowledge- A must pick as it's a very solid buff to healing.

Borrowed time- To give your teammates a extra helping hand to survive.

Buckle up- (I know your giving me death stares for this behind your screen) My killer detection perk as it can help with altruism and allows both you and another survivor see the killers aura.

Ranger med-kit with abdominal dressing and self-adherent wrap- A strong item for plenty of healing without downsides.

Hope I helped you fellow altruistic console player (I play on PlayStation).

  • I actually plan on using the current buckle up for my killer detection perk for the reason that I and the healed survivor will see the killer's aura similarly to how aftercare shows my aura to other survivors and their aura to me.

A midas like character would be nice. The original story of midas is actually quite creepy. Would definitely make a fitting killer. Also, lorewise, when he kicks the generators they would turn gold. I guess this could be a perk? he could spread his "gold touch" to other survivors. When the survivor gets hit by him, the turn gold. His mori could be turning them to gold completely. They would also bleed gold. This would actually be great tracking wise, as well as it would look nice.

No idea if this is what you were going for. HOwever, you may want to fixate on lore first and build from there, as who your character is definitely is going to influence everything else.

If you'd like to see his power go to https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/127696/the-richs-power-iridescent-cash-any-thoughts#latest. I'm going to change it but I want it to follow the same guidelines of money.

Interesting concept, but the way the game is designed it might be frustrating to use for two reasons.

    1) No one likes waiting on cooldowns for their power. Perhaps there can be a way the killer can interact with their power to make them gain coins faster? Think of Oni, his power regens very slowly but he also has ways of filling the meter much quicker.

    2) The player would have to rely on (probably janky) AI. The killer has no way of interacting with this AI other than giving simple commands. And since it is an AI, survivors will figure out its weaknesses and make sure they never get hit.

Overall, this power involves very little interaction from the killer player. Your idea of spending points for a power has potential, but implemented this way it may be frustrating to use.

Also, I would recommend breaking your posts up into paragraphs to make them easier to read.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Firstly, the name, how about The Manager or The Administrator.

Now with the issue of getting more coins, I want it to be similar to a auto renew program so it's a subconscious set up that you can monitor. So they won't actively collect the coins such as they gain twenty five percent of their blood points back as coins. Any suggestions?

Iridescent Cash is the tricky one. Maybe instead of hiring assistants, they purchase various contraptions.

Thanks again for the support of my killer and I hope to work with you further.

  • Just so everyone knows I plan on getting help creating The Rich in creations so if anyone wants to help head their once I've got more votes.

  • Well they'll be very ambitious and hard working so it's a start.

    This better be Scrooge McDuck

Um not really, he'll start as this altruistic autistic student that is bullied and gets cruel revenge on his bullies once he succeeds in his company The Ruby Pill.

The name should reflect in their apearance/power always. Does The Rich throw quarters a the survivors?

No, I plan on his power being Iridescent Cash where they gain counters on their power which they will spend as a currency

If you want a rich business man type killer, then why not make his power revolve around chest looting. For example, his power could allow him to loot chests and carry survivor items. Why can he do this? To take the items to a "store" run by the rich, where survivors can pick up the items without immediate consequences. Items within the store generally appear to be of a higher quality than they actually are, but sometimes you get the genuine article, so as a survivor, it can be worthwhile to visit the store. If a survivor decides to plunder a chest, it will notify the rich of someone "stealing stock." The Rich's power would revolve around enticing survivors to make foolish purchases at his stores, afflicting survivors with the "debt" status, which makes the survivors incredibly easy to find, among other things dependent on the add-ons run by the rich, until they pay off their debt by stocking the store for the rich with items equivalent to the item that got them in debt in the first place.

    Just spitballing here though.

That's a really interesting idea. I like it but I do want his power to stick with the theme of him gathering money that he spends, but I really like your suggestion. I do have an idea where he would use his money to pay for semi killers that have specific roles that are at The Rich's command. This isn't a detailed description but is a concept for his power I was thinking of.

First off I'd like to note that fan creations are not exactly meant to be suggestions to the devs, but rather a way to share interesting concepts. Your killer has potential, but I'd like you to flesh it out a little more.

    As for the perks:

Health insurance would be pretty annoying. Deep wounds is more of a nuisance than a threat.

Market research would be extremely powerful and the survivors would have no way of knowing that their aura is being read.

Stillness crows are a bit too situational to have a perk based on them, but the second effect might be interesting.

I don't really understand how the last two perks would work.

Yeah I know and I am thinking of changing and updating this whole thing. It's just a bit more speculation and I'd really like a bit of assistance, especially with balancing. The last two perks can be added to the list of names as I was really just trying to think of a detection perk for generators with terms from economics I heard of. Also with this killer in my mind I can't stop thinking about how much I want them in the game so where should I post this. Also thanks for reading my killer.

  • Very interesting. If you want to see my killer idea it's The Rich.

  • This is absolutely stunning. It's so well detailed and seems like an actual member of the dead by daylight team made it, I love it. I don't think mine is half as good. It's The Rich if you want to see it.
