The hitboxes are janky but I disagree with the logic behind the complaint. The idea that if it was fixed that they wouldn’t be hit is wrong. Killers have to adjust to the hitbox, too.
just so you know, the devs have chosen the pillbox hitbox for the simple reason that it doesn’t require accuracy for a hit to land. I simply believe this is a lid of bullshit and unfair, a fast vault should never be a loss, especially since it’s usuallly pretty obvious when a vault is there, and they can adjust, you’re not gonna convince me that the hitbox doesn’t need to be changed. You can still be hit by pallet stuns, and deathslinger can pull you to a window and still hit you.

That’s means I know they haven’t fixed #########

How is the community blind to it when the MAJORITY agrees with you.
There's a hitbox/latency issue.
Many of us can't stand getting hit 2 steps after a vault, we can't stand getting hit after a pallet slide.
Can't juke the killer anymore because my invisible hitbox is the size of Clown's fat ass.
this is news to me for sure.

Lol "sentient walls" is an apt description. I'm simply asking you to explain YOUR issues with it in detail to facilitate a conversation. Your statement was a closed one, so it doesn't ask a question or lead into a discussion. My answer was I believe they're looking at the lag people are experiencing in the next patch. I could be wrong so I left it open for someone who 100% knows to correct me.
okay. I can’t particularly disagree with you, mostly because it’s your interpretation of my sentence, as you’re someone other than myself, I’ll agree that I didn’t leave it open ended, cause again it’s your interpretation and well that matters. Okay, the forum is for topic "discussion". I don't see anything to discuss here, just a blanket statement.
Are you referring to a specific killer? Are you referring to lag hits? Are you referring to window/pallet hits?
Please DESCRIBE the issue(s).
P.S: Most of what I'm assuming you're complaining about is being looked at for next patch. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.
Just ignore this post, I’m salty af. I’ve been arguing with these ignorant ######### on this forum about hitboxes and I’m certain I’m arguing with sentient walls.....

I’m pretty much done with this game. The community is so blind to it, this game needs to just end it’s existence, I only continue to play cause of how much money I’ve spent, but whatever. Well being in a SWF team isn't going to prevent most of what your complaints are about. Every game that you play has input lag. Like in COD when you got around that corner but still got shot. It's because there was input lag and you were still in sight and got killed before getting around that corner. It's the same with DBD. You got through that window. You cleared the hit. But on the killers side of thing you didn't make it through that window far enough. At least that's how I just imagine it. So I don't get mad about it. I'm not going to act like I've never been like... ######### IS THAT HIT! BULLCRAP! But I honestly don't let it bother me much. Solo is always going to be at a disadvantage. And it'll all depend on the killer you get as well. Some killers aren't as nuts as others.
You have some killers that don't camp, tunnel, use all three hooks on every survivor and allow the game to be fun. You have other killers that sweat DBD. Can't blame them either though. Playing both sides... Once you've been bullied a time or two during the night. You're ready to crap all over everyone's game.
But in the end. I think solo is nice and peaceful. I've had a few people add me. Though never have played with any of them. I'm sure that you could easily make friends. But I can't play 30 games of DBD in a row. I get a few in and then I'm zzzzZzzz'd into something else.
No this isn’t input lag, this is there hitbox. The devs have said it themselves, their hitbox isn’t designed for accuracy. It’s just depressing. Even worse, I’ve constantly heard “it’s input lag.” Which is just horrendous excuse, if the input lag was actually that bad, a very accurate hitbox wouldn’t change much, but it might account for that extra step in not being a hit. So tired of that excuse...
-
Anyone with an ounce of honesty knows the hitbox is ######### silly. The DEVS have literally said the pillbox design it not for accuracy, so essentially every single hit over a vault window has been bullshit. If they get rid of excellent vault loops, they should fix their stupid hitboxes

"Bam this killer... Bam use this killer..." buddy if I could change my killer during a game to place a scenario in my favor anyone would. "Baby killer" huh? Although the community collectively agrees survivor, specifically SWF of even 2 (although arguably even to be fair), is stronger than killer. Consider I and other people don't want to play these killers you think solve this one specific problem no one will see coming as well. No that's unreasonable? "Just mind game the survivors on an INFINITE" (do you even understand why it's considered an infinite...). I mean, you should understand since it's very obvious you're a survivor main that survivors will mind game the killer just as the killer tries to mind game the survivors. You see how that works? Why it turns into a problem? A mori is OP but keys are okay I suppose, I'd remove them both if it was up to me. Let me guess, i should've run Franklin's to stop the guy with the key... Blame the connection as so many survivor mains do as well. If DH only sent you back there wouldn't be so many people using the perk. Going to complain about the hit boxes now even though LONG BEFORE dedicated servers killers would get hits that made no sense? Ffs man. Oh and I'm not wasting my time here to change your mind no no. I'm wasting my time here to say you're undermining the entire other side of the game and you definitely don't play enough killer.
Ah and glorious rank reset just happened and on a new account rank 17 the game decides to throw a rank 5 in my game (yay matchmaking). The glorious DC I got off this Urban Immersion Feng just feeds my Baby Killer...ness.
Obviously don’t play enough survivor, DH pushes back, it won’t create a fast vault, you’d know that if you weren’t such a baby killer, don’t worry devs are cradling your nuts. And I like how you put a positive Killer vs a negative with survivor, which just proves you’re biased. And honestly think an ebony vs a key is even remotely fair you’re not only biased you’re also dumb, the hatch does not spawn in immediately, and you can literally sit in the lobby and see who has what, if they have a key, bring franklins, if you don’t have that perk, use any mori. Bam! And you’re talking about setting things back, you’re literally talking about getting rid of keys, to not only guaranteed solo q UNCESSARY but just down right unplayable

Right, cause that’s as far as you get when it comes to a little bit of intuition on my statement, “change killers mid-game” I absolutely totally meant that, absolutely no possible way I meant try this killer or try that, nope your brain could only calculate one example and that one example is impossible, see this is killers on this games mentality, create impossible scenario to which only they can thrive, you’re a prime example why this game is a ######### up. I'm a solo player as well. I love it. I get really bad teammates maybe 1 in every 5-6 matches. It doesn't bother me. I don't consider myself a rank 1 survivor either. Even if I can never fall from that rank. But I mess up and my teammates probably hate me once in awhile. I just don't let it get to me. Maybe some of us have the mentality that we don't have to win every game. SWF teams usually cry really hard when one of them dies. Us solo players are used to dying here and there.
I can respect that opinion. I’m red rank myself, and often do stuff that a rank 20 does, and that in itself doesn’t bother me. It’s the simple things like pallet stun on the killer and still get downed, oh dead hard to a window, but the killer has increased speed so still lose it. Oh got downed just before the exit opened no worries I have DA miss that extremely small skillcheck game over.. It’s not even that, it’s the so obvious disadvantage there is to being a solo q survivor that no one seems to care about, or acknowledge is a real problem that bothers me... there is a person on this message board complaining about DS, easily the easiest perk to counter ... saying suvivors abusé it like give me a break

I think it speaks to how broken the survivor emblem system is. I play survivor maybe 25% as much as I play killer, yet I'm a rank 1 survivor simply by existing on the map and performing simple survivor functions like a bot to rank up.
I think chase skill and general game awareness is completely devalued by the emblem system while altruism is valued way too highly. Getting pulled off a dull totem (I can reasons for committing to a lit totem) or a chest by a killer with a terror radius is egregious. You shouldn't rank up from that game. If someone goes into struggle state on first hook when the killer isn't near the hook, anyone not in a chase when it happened shouldn't rank up from that game.
Likewise, chase time should matter a whole lot more than it does. It's the single biggest determining factor in a win vs loss outside of teammates not being afk, but the emblem system doesn't care about it at all. It only cares if you didn't get caught in the end. It's absolutely asinine that a 3 gen run and an escape is ever anything other than a double pip. That's beyond a carry.
The emblem system is why we currently have so many bad players at red ranks. It's tuned to reward bad play. Why be efficient on gens when ranking up depends on me hook bombing for a save, no context whatsoever? Why run the killer when chase time won't affect my emblem score? Better to hide in a bush, never see the killer, and watch my teammates get focused down while I never take a hook state. Because at the end of the match, the person who hid, made bad saves, never got chased, did a gen or two, and got out through the hatch ranked up, and the people who played well didn't.
exactly what you’re complaining survivors do, he still pipped up for this, yet not one single survivor died..... so I know you’re absolutely full of yourself

While playing killer is a miserable experience at rank 1 there's one thing I despise more than that. SOLO SURVIVOR.
I have 3000+ hours in this game (killer and survivor player 50/50) and the amount of STUPID survivors at rank 1 is unbelievable.
This just happened to me: One survivor gets grabbed off a totem with thrill of the hunt against a pig, where you have plenty of time to react when she stands up and you know she sees that you cleanse a totem. Then they dc before you can unhook them because yeah its the killer fault you play badly and YOU entitled piece of ... DC because of that. Second guy gets downed immediately, kills themselves on the hook. Then there's me who jukes the killer for legit 5 mins because the killer decides to tryhard. I wonder what the last guy is doing all this time, I mean he could have finished the last 4 gens by that time. I get hooked, last guy does nothing, I see him in a corner crouching waiting for me to die so he can get hatch.
I derank for that.
That's just one of many examples of how BAD solo survivor is. Random survivors don't unhook you, let you get to struggle phase, DC all the time, kill themselves on hook, don't do gens, hide all game, unhook in front of killer to farm you etc.
SWF and a competent team (well I don't demand survivors that are PRO players that know everything in this game and play perfectly, at least a team that's not STUPID) makes things so much better, so much more chill, etc. Just having survivors that don't DC immediately, unhook you in front of the killer or do other stupid ######### makes this game a lot better. Just NORMAL survivors that try to win and play well for their team.
I don't know why the devs don't take hours played into consideration for their matchmaking. I don't want to get matched up with other survivors with 130 hours in this game at rank 1, with their rank 18 SWF friend and another guy who does nothing because he is scared of the terror radius. Also, finally don't punish me if other survivors DC which makes me lose ranks as a survivor (killer too!).
500 hours here. I’ll be the first to complain, I’m always ######### I know... but solo survivor is so god damn unrewarding, I’m not the best, but I have literally, NEVER made it past rank 3... in my entirety of playing this game, the single closest I ever got was 2 pips in to rank 3 and then immediately after wards lost every single game. I’ve changed up my perk set up, multiple times, I can loop the killer the entire game, while my team does gens only to be down at the very last gen and they all just ######### leave me, and I’ll depip because DEVS have made this game is disproportional unfair

Ah, so its okay for survivors to do their best to annoy killers in any way they can and abuse god loops, but if a killer does things that you don't like, it needs to be fixed.
And fyi, Survivors do more than t-bagging and pointing. Pallet stunning then blinding is very frustrating for killers, so is saboing a hook in the killers face, as well as multiple body blocking, and aggressive unhooking that confuses the killer with who may have DS. But yea, it is only survivors who suffer.
Oh gtfo yourself “god loops” is a phrase used by ######### killers......... it’s simple, trapper, trap those windows.. spirit, mind games, Myers or ghost face, use deathslinger pull the subito to the window and hit him through it...

If the game is balanced around SWF:
Solo survivors will feel forced to play in groups to escape and solo survivors in higher ranks will much likely have much more unbearable games. However, SWF games will become more enjoyable for killers.
If the game is balanced around solo:
Solo survivors are happier and far less people will feel forced to play in groups to escape. However, SWF will become a much stronger, unbalanced option that will show up in higher ranks, leading to more "boosted" players and making SWF games unbearable for killers.
Interested in seeing what people put.

Why should it be unfair? As a surv you can also get way over 20k bp and still die in a game. If you're playing well why shouldn't you be rewarded?

I strongly disagree. I'm solo and I got to red ranks really fast after I spend some serious time on the game. I'm now at around 450 hours, maybe 150 hours were serious gameplay and all after I left the game for like over a year. Before that the highest rank I reached was around the 10s. Now I'm pretty much stuck at red ranks because I pip up or safe pip even if I played like ######### for whatever reason. My gameplay definitely is NOT red rank worthy but the thing is it's far too easy to rank up as a survivor. The whole game still is and always has been survivor sided (I'm playing the ptb so I'll include that in my statement). Even if you're solo queuing. With that bring said I'd really suggest you overthink your skills cause it's surely not the games fault that you're not on red ranks yet and feel the need to swf.
Yeah, I also strongly disagree. Simply because you can’t safe play on solo red ranks and still pip up, so I know you’re full of crap.

Your entire post just screams "I don't even play killer and I have no clue what I'm talking about". I bet you think Insta mori Myers is OP... I can't stop a DS when I down someone near the open gate which just happened earlier. DH during a chase to get to pallets and windows is very common it's only counterable in dead zones where you can get right on them to bait it. Of course you'd complain about map changes because infinites and the like are okay in your eyes. What offerings do killers have to help us win? A mori? Now you're toxic and that's bad, but toxic survivors are fine. Map offerings? You can use them too. Spawn with your teammates as well that's also a thing, definitely won't be gen rushing the killer off that one or anything right?
In high ranks you'll rarely find survivors that don't know what to do/can't be coordinated even if they're all not SWF. The game isn't becoming more focused on SWF, THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN STRONG! We're not playing the same game is my take from this...
Another thing, you clearly don’t understand how chases work, other wise you’d never DH to a vault, that would never work, perhaps if the chase JUST started maybe it would, but if you’re already in a prolonged chase, DH draws back because of ######### connection, which is almost always a given, you won’t make it...

lmao. Because infinite loops are OP, play trapper carry two trap them, bam fixed. Play spirit, bam fixed just because you can’t mind game a survivor in to making a mistake doesn’t make you a ######### expert on this game, and your pretentious attitude doesn’t change my opinion at all, I’ve played killer from 20 to 10 with 1 perk and zero add ons. MORI is ######### OP cause you can’t possibly counter it, active DS is nothing. Oh DS by the gate, deathslinger pull him as daw from it as possible.... you’re a joke, and this game is going down hill because they listen to you baby ass killers whine you don’t win absolutely every single game in the possible universe
-
Any one that gets 29K bps and not one single kill is a laughable joke. whereas, I solo and all three team mates die and I find the hatch only to depip.... this game is so balanced towards the killer it’s not even funny, I bet you pipped up for that game also... Only way to win as a survivor is extreme team mates and making absolutely VERY little mistakes. Whereas a killer has a lot of lead way, their is numerous perks that’ll allow you gen pressure, and if you have a hard time finishing survivors, go for killers that build up instant down abilities like Myers or ghost face. Playing killer has a steep learning curve but once you figure it out, it’s comical how easy it is to win. You’ll likely lose to a hardcore SWF because they know how tough killers can be, our Medkits are a joke, the only useful one is flashlight and toolbox, and very limited. We don’t have add on to help our perks, or offerings that give us an advantage and every perk we do have, like DS, and DH is easily counterable, and then vaults you’ll win the vault game 9/10 against the survivor, the hitbox is obviously stacked entirely in your favor. And now they’re taking out “too safe” vaults so as to increase killers odds of winning. They’re making this game SWF necessary, cause at this point, solo is a waste of time, any survivor that can make it to red by himself is a god.

I genuinely would like some advice in how to improve, other than just "get good" as I've played this game for 3 years and this has always happened to me

youre wrong they cater to killers constantly
They do, this is precisely why the hitbox isn’t accurate, so they can win those strong loops. That’s why there is no in game chat. That’s why they’re getting rid of that window vault because killers can’t win against it... but they’ll keep their chase speed. And then there’s half the community that says killer needs a buff, there are no add ones or offering for survivors perks, DH is pretty much counterable, it’s meta and 100 guaranteed to be on at least one survivor a game, DS is a 60 second countdown. And if you have a Mori no need to wait... then there’s their lunge swing. It’s perfect.

Having more time on my hands under current situation, I decided to write down details regarding trials as a red rank (solo) survivor and share the results with you. Might not be relevant, but it was fun to observe. Here goes:
Most popular killers: Deathslinger (13), followed by Spirit, Billy, Doctor and Trapper (8 trials each)
Most popular survivors: Claudette (42), Meg (37)
Most popular perks:
- Killer: BBQ (56) and PGTW (39)
- NOED was used in 29 games, Ruin in 18 games
- Survivors: Self-Care (203), Iron Will (199) - *** I used IW in all my builds
- As for the most discussed perks:
- BT - 156
- DS - 109
- Adrenaline - 88
- DH - 61
Shortest game: 5 minutes
Longest game: 20 minutes
44 games ended with 4K.
3K - 20 games
2K - 11 games
1K - 15 games
4 escape - 10 times
12 killers brought Mori (1 was Cypress, the others Ebony)
8 games where someone brought a key
Now after seeing these results, do I think survivors get destroyed because killers are overpowered? No. I think that is very easy to get to red rank as survivor, while as killer it takes much more. I have no problem admitting that I do not belong in red ranks (I'm still not very good in chases - not against skilled killers anyway - and prefer a stealthier style - no, that doesn't mean I hide the entire game and do nothing - I just focus on gens, totems and saving others) and I think there are many others like me, who don't belong there. But for killer, if you got to red ranks, you worked more and probably deserve it. On paper, sharing the same rank color with your opponent means your skill levels are similar. In reality, they're not.
That'd be all for now. If you're interested in more details (such as other perks, maps, how many times we faced campers etc), check the attached Excel doc. (make sure you also check Sheet 2)
Additional notes:
Staying near a hook while you know/see other survivors are near does NOT mean you're camping. Camping is when you're staying close to the hook despite knowing no one else is near.
Bumping into the recently unhooked survivor shortly after they've been saved does NOT mean you're tunneling. Tunneling is when you deliberately ignore other survivors just to get the recently unhooked one.
So where you see notes stating the killers were camping/tunneling, it means they were doing what I've stated above, not other actions that people would define as "camping/tunneling|".
See you in the fog! :)
I just do not agree. Solo red survivor here. And I’ll lose 6 out of 10 games every day. Some days I’ll lose more games than I win, and honestly, it’s not even due to chases, i usually out maneuver them, it’s for what ever reason, the devs felt that a hitbox was absolutely not necessary to be super accurate, I feel DH used towards a window should allow me to successfully complete it, however I lose it all the time, because of the ridiculously silly hitbox. DS is almost ALWAY a wasted perk to bring in, if you have inner strength and you are healed up and the killer pulls you from it it should not count as a hit, yet it does, i realize you’ll be immediately hooked, but there’s a chance with a team they can sabotage the hook, takes 2.5 seconds, if I get away I’m still injured unfair. Their are now taking away too safe vaults, but killers will still keep increased speed in prolonged chases, in which almost always guaranteed to get us. I’ve no idea how any one can think this game is anything but unbalanced , there are no add one, or offering that boosts a survivors perks. I just don’t see it

i wouldnt necessarily call The Game killer or survivor sided, though i can understand where people that claim eigther way are comming from.
some killers can easily use that map to their advantage and win without much of an effort (e.g. Doc or Wraith), others however get basically hardcountered by it (e.g. Trapper or Billy).
my personal main problem with it is, that it is basically made out of safe pallets. it has the most 100% safe pallets in the whole game, its actually ridiculous - especially when the survivor knows what to do / you arent the best killer. examples for such pallets would be the room above the basement, the hallway towards the basement, the staircase pallets or the drop down pallets (there are more but i think you get the point).
i think pallet spawn, the killer choice and the survivors skill are the factors that can make the map seem like it favors a certain side more than the other.
I would strongly and vehemently disagree with you, the pallets in that map do literally nothing, they don’t offer any seriously good hiding spots, and because it’s got two levels there’s no way to know if the killer is on top or bottom level, so that’s a serious mind game itself. And the pallet placement is next to crap, the only one that’s any decent is the one by the exit, and after that you’re screwed... honestly do you guys even play survivor, how anyone thinks anything about this game is remotely survivor sided is a joke, the hitbox which is specifically designed to not be accurate, is absolute horseshit. And now, our “top safe” window vaults are gone, but killers will continue to keep their chase increase speed... DH IS EASILY SUPER COUNTERABLE. And DS, just mori them. The DEVS do not add in-game chat because they don’t want every single game to be SWF, which if you’re a killer isn’t hard if you can outsmart them..... I honestly love this game, but survivors are getting the shaft and it doesn’t even seem like people care...

You are factually wrong.... the game was updated ages ago.
You have to do far more than just say someone’s wrong, add a counter argument at the very least, just saying someone’s wrong proves nothing, you just look like an idiot.

Haddonfield is the most survivor sided map in the game. Next to badham and the game.
The map is too closed in so you can't play as ghostface or freddy. Theres no killer shack so trapper is impossible to play as. It's not dark enough so hag traps are implantable. This turns all killers into m1 killers
Killers whining they don’t win 99% of their games again huh

The loops they removed were too safe and too large for them to even be considered balanced. Being able to hit through windows has always been a mechanic, but dedicated servers make it look like you're getting hit from even further away, even though that's not what the killer sees. Hits from a long distance is definitely bullshit but it's just something that we'll have to deal with as long as hits are registered client side.
Right figured the counter to that was the increased in speed for prolonged chases, almost to say “you suck and can’t catch a survivor whose much, much slower than you.” Guess they’re not gonna take that out then are they. Fix the hitboxes, devs have said it’s not accurate, in a game that doesn’t require accuracy, which is unbelievable cause it does. And simply run off if you can’t capitalise.. taking this away is just another, among many disadvantages survivors have

@Awkward_Fiend said:
Latency on the servers. The killer's will often see it as a hit even though the survivor doesn't.
I’ve played as killer and as survivor. And their pillbox hitbox is a clear indication that their hitbox system is a joke. No fast vault should be a loss to the survivor and the lunge 360 swing is a god damn joke, that pretty much guaranteeds any experienced killer a hit no matter what, and now they’re taking away strategically designed loops, in an effort to baby killer... this game is getting worse every minute and it’s because of the hit boxes
-
@Peanits said:
We did a stream on this recently. I would suggest giving that a look if you haven't already.
As far as capsule based hitboxes go, yes, plenty of games still use them. It's very common in almost any game that doesn't require precise hitboxes (i.e. headshots, body shots, etc.). Having precise hitboxes in DbD would be largely unnecessary and give smaller survivors an advantage over larger survivors.
so you admit the hitboxes are not necessary to be super accurate, so that would leave plenty of wild unfair hits... so I would say in fact your hitboxes are not fine, and they need fixed

Those God Loops/"Infinites" always involve a window that survivor can use without a risk (Except some killers) and are able to waste a lot of the killers time just by using these windows (for example the window in the main building from Iron Works of Misery in the picture below). As a killer you are forced to break the chase if a survivor manages to get to one of these windows and ignore that part of the map.
So my question is,why can't these very strong windows get closed?
It would be an easy change to implement and a HUGE step towards balancing maps.Furthermore every map that features a god loop/"Infinite" has more than enough strong windows and palletts for survivors to work with so they don't need these god loops anyway.
What do you think?
Just a garbage killer. If you see this area turn away, or play Myers, eventually they’ll make a mistake and you’ll win. Stop trying to take away survivors only means of looping a killer legitimately successful

I posted what I think, thus I have contributed
lmao
My bad. I figured I’d get constructive comments, not useless ones. But doesn’t shock me, half the community believes the games fine the other half ######### and moan and the devs just watch and laugh...

Not if an open exit gate is open right in front of you.
It’s worth noting however if there is an activated gate the perk works, but I think it should work in either scenario because it does not specify that a survivor needs to be alive for it to work, and honestly if it did it’d ruin the game, because deliverance is a good solo perk, devs already said they will not activate invoice chat because that would make it harder for the killer. I think the perk is fine but not working because of circumstances like no exit door being open or no survivor alive is redundant, because you still have a chance to survive, you could have DH, DS, Lithe, and ironwill
-
@SassySolidSnake said:
I think it's fine the way it is, it's fair because you have the broken status as a compromise, and you have to have a safe unhook as well to be able to activate the perk. I find when I decide to throw it on for a game, I almost 100% of the time don't get to even use it because I don't have the unhook. 😂 I'd say maybe the only thing that could be fixed, is that a survivor can't sit on it for the entire game, maybe it only works for 3 minutes, or something like that.
Okay. At no point in this thread has anyone even remotely, said anything even closely resembling changing the perk. At All. At no point has that even been a comment here, none zero . Dear god reread
-
okay well the perk doesn’t say “there’s a killer in front of you, and no ones alive so I won’t work.” The perk just says unhook someone unhook yourself. So you guys are arguing about circumstances that do not matter. The perk should still work.

Most games now the killer slugs, and even if he doesn't, the chances of not being hooked at that point of the game is unlikely.
Okay but because of how killers play the perks ability changes?

Right super fine. Why comment man? You’ve literally not contributed anything other than. “ perk doesn’t work?” That’s fine right

The Killer will just wait there, if the last Survivor gets a chance to attempt escape. And so Deliverance will not change anything. And yes, the Survivor can have DS, and yes, he can have Unbreakable, but it is enough for the Killer to just wait.
In the end it is only a huge waste of time for both sides.
I’ve on multiple occasions been face camped by a killer and gotten saved an still managed to escape, just because you guys wanna give the game to the killer 100% of the time means nothing, the perk says, after having successful unhooked someone you’re 100% guaranteed to unhook yourself, it doesn’t specify whether or not suvivors have to be alive. I think it’s silly that you think this is fine.... its a perk that only works if there are other survivors... if that was the case it should say that
-
@Cheers said:
How often does that happen though?
Every time the exit gate is not opened. I think it’s ridiculous that if no one is alive that the perks ability suddenly changes.

How is it killers can facecamping each survivor to death and still walk out with 30k bp?? They don't lose anything for just trolling a hole damn match. I think they need to lose rank and bp for ruining a match people have waited 10-20 minutes for. I know nothing will happen and most won't even agree but that is the most ridiculous thing about this game to me!
Any one that disagrees with you, is simply a killer main, so like 50/50 half will disagree because they generally disagree, and the other half disagree because they like an unfair game. This game is tough, but it’s like A scale, image 4 people sitting on a scale and 1 on the other end of the scale, they’re gonna try to match that 1 persons weight to the other 4 by adding a ######### ton of items to him. And that is essentially how the DEVS determine how to improve the game.

Half of these people trying to discredit you by claiming you’re a high rank. As if that determines whether or not someone can have a valid opinion on a game. Look DBD is a tough game, and I fully believe it is geared in the favor of the killers, any killer main will disagree because they don’t win 99.99% of their games, like I said before, do not soloq it is not worth it, and if you do literally go in their expecting to lose, and try different things, use different perks. Soloq is just practice imo

Straight up, from the devs! Only way to play this game is SWF, if you’re soloing you’re gonna have a bad time. It’s just not worth it. The devs even state the reason they don’t have i game chat “because it’ll ruin the players experience” what they mean is that it’ll be harder for the killer to win. Wait until lower ranks you’ll come across ######### ass hitboxes, DS essentially useless. And DH is even more useless and to top it off, dedicated servers only really affect survivors.

@Yuyukoyay said:
Yeah the advantage doesn't actually come through on console either. The controller is the superior way to play survivor. It just allows killer to work properly. PS4 also allowed mouse and keyboard support on day 1 of release. This is due to mmo support from day 1.
Hell we live in an age where basically everyone has a mouse and keyboard. They should just support it on every possible platform. Even mobiles support it too though.
So again there is no actual downside to not supporting it. You don't get an advantage in the game from going from controller to m/kb unless you are killer. Even then it's not an advantage. It's actually disadvantaged already as it is. Especially because they don't change the killers powers to work better on console.
completely disagree. The reason being is you have way more control over how you direct, move and adjust your character than you would on a controller, it’s the same with ranges killers, the movement sensitivity works at a higher volume with a mouse and keyboard, things like 360. You can’t do on a controller as efficiently as a mouse, they are night and day, m/kB are infinitely different, and would have amazing differences to the game, you’d see infinitely more nurses on console if you got m/kB.
-
You know. I really hope they fix these servers issues, so we can really know where exactly these hitboxes are, because honestly. Unless you’re a squad; this game is not fair for the survivor.
