We all know this is literally the new killer meta combo, im pretty sure 4/5 killers i have now run it (very origional and creative builds btw), but do people not realise the effects that it's going to have on the game? It WILL get nerfed, sooner or later. It's literally inevitable. Ruin is going down the exact same path of last time. The devs will notice that ruin and undying is literally in every game and build and they will end up changing ruin again literally putting the game balance back a whole year, when in reality, the problem is rather undying and tinkerer. If you think that this combo is not busted, allow me to explain. Playing blight, billy, nurse, oni, freddy or anyone with decent movement speed? Well all you need to do with this perk combo is use ur power to get to a gen whenever tinkerer props, force the survivors off the gen and maybe get a down and the gen is already down halfway. Literally the only way to counter this is either spend years searching for the totems and wasting huge amounts of time or coming in a tournament level swf and pumping out the gens as insane speeds (which how much fun is that really? Who wants to hold m1 all game/). I'm just dissapointed with this because the new ruin is actually a decent perk but these other two perks have completely broken it. Till they change it guess we gotta just be gen jockeys and suck it up?
Holy ######### I'm sitting here seeing ######### DH unbreakable DS every damn game and then I see some dickhead crying about undying tinkerer this is such a ######### joke if bhvr is nerfing another meta killer perk without finally fixing the ######### with decisive dead hard sprint burst unbreakable and dead hard then I'm just gonna play a different game

Title.
What do you think, is Dead by Daylight ever going to be TRULY balanced, meaning that it will be at least 90% fun for ALL players? (The remaining 10% would be... players who don't have fun with anything either way, even if everything is balanced)
We all know Dead by Daylight is in a state where there's more bugs than cosmetics in the game. I mean, at least that's what everyone else is suggesting, because I personally don't encounter lots of bugs- Anyway, this ain't about my opinion. This about your opinion.
As long as certain balance people at bhvr say that clown has hidden potential and that pig is A tier nothings gonna be balanced

You joking?
You put one exhaustion addon or perk with you, and you can have multiple people exhausted.
If they start working on a gen, they won't have their exhaustion perks by the time you start a chase. Meaning they HAVE to not touch gens until the duration is gone.
Its brilliant
OH yeah just use exhaustion addons.
You do realize that only 3 killers even have exhaustion addons and demos exhaustion addon is garbage.

25% is just not enough to validate a perk slot

I don't if all of you tried the new 'Mindreaker' on the PTB, but please...PLEASE, try the new Mindbreaker. Yes, it's finally a good perk, mostly because that 50% requirement is gone, but man the amount of times I managed to stop SBs and DHs is incredible. That 5 seconds, although it seems at first laughablely short, actually messes up the survivors, and I got so much value while playing with this perk oh lord. I pray for it to not be changed again, cause the PTB version is incredible 😭😭
Mindbreaker is so #########, its entire effect is to prevent SB in your face but DH is significantly more common anyways so it's just #########.

I fail to see how its cheating when it doesnt let you see more of the killer.
It does let you see significantly more of the killer because it increases your fov if you don't believe me test it yourself make a Screenshot then restart the game in stretched make a Screenshot of exactly the same place on the same map and you realize that you can see more
-
The concept isn't bad the numbers are 25% is a difference of 20 seconds if you solo a gen... And how often do you even get everybody injured? I think making a max slowdown of 32% and giving thana 8% for each dying 6% for each and maybe buff freddys slowdown Addons again since they won't be oppressing anymore if the numbers are capped

I can see each of these perks actually seeing use.
(personal opinion)
Dragon's grip seems the weakest of the three simply because of the cooldown. In higher rank matches you may get 1-2 uses max and you may still not get that exposed hit.
Hex: Undying will push survivors to work as a team to destroy totems so I'm skeptical on its final results, however it will help keep your totems up longer. I'm curious if it will be bugged so that Hex: Haunted grounds ends up activating several times XD
Hex: Blood Favor seems useful on a small handful of maps. Unless the pallet radius is increased its unlikely to yield good results as a survivor who suffers a hit won't stay at the present tile, meaning your blocked pallets won't actually matter. Smaller maps might be ok but I'm still not sure on the 16m. Maybe higher tier perk adds distance (if it does that is why I don't place it below Dragon's Grip).
I disagree dragons grip is the strongest of the ones yeah the cooldown sucks but it can do stuff on its own and it's good at slowing the game down slap it onto a stealth killer or slinger and the affected surv can't do gens for 60 seconds or risks just immediately dying
Undying will be useful combined with ruin and might see some use in my Legion build
And blood favor seems to be useful on killers that m1 a lot and that fast its clearly good on clown, slinger and freddy I will have to test it first though to see usage on other killers

A bit of balance. What you got rewarded for failing a chase.
Like it or not the skillcheck was not difficult to hit and it basically mean that you got waste the killer's time for free.
The way it is now is actually a lot more balanced it punishes tunneling but doesn't reward you just randomly getting down.
The Killers that aren't tunneling or camping aren't punished for doing their jobs
DS still needs a nerf because I constantly get hit with hit even if I'm not tunneling my record is this
Survivor A gets unhooked
Survivor B gets hooked
Survivor C gets hooked
Survivor A gets downed again and I try to hook him DS, I was clearly tunneling btw

Depends on why I lose when I truly get outplayed then yeah I say gg and maybe even give props but I'm insulting my opponent when they're a genrushing SWF or a stridor spirit with op Addons these games aren't they aren't fun and don't require skill so I'm not gonna say gg
-
I'm replacing Billy not gonna main him anymore ######### the nerfs
-
It's sad because I'm a Billy main but I'm gonna change my main he's just not fun with the nerfs I'm forced to m1lly he's much weaker it's just sad that bhvr nerfed his basekit even though nobody wanted it nerfed
-
Billy is fine as he is only his Addons need touching his base power is fair

You start the trial with 1/2/3 tokens. Whenever you'd suffer from the oblivious, blindness, hindered, hemorrhage or mangled status effect, lose a token. You will not suffer from the status effect, if you have a token. You also lose a token, when hit with the exposed status effect and receive a "normal" hit.
(For example: You lose a token, when hit with sloppy butcher and don't suffer from the hemorrhage status effect.)
"I had a feeling, that I just needed these preparations."
Are you fr imagine having a perk that just shits on a killers existence #########... Pls consider all killers while thinking about perks

I used to play both. Dont touch survivor anymore though because it became a headache.
The changes are good. “god loops” were horrendous. They took no skill to use but wasted so much time. They were too strong for how easy they were to use, so they were basically the Hillbilly of loops. It also took the fun out of the game when you get something like ironworks, wretched shop or grim pantry and each survivor runs there over and over again. Every survivor, every chase.
The real question is....what took them so long?
As for gen times, meh. Small changes but it didn’t really need massive changes. The fact that strong areas are being changed means survivors will go down faster which helps pressure to slow down gens, and with maps being shrunk it means less walking which means more map pressure. The latter 2 changes will have an effect on gen times so gens themselves dont actually need to be much slower.
The hillbilly of loops? Let's just ignore the fact that you said hillbilly is to good for how "easy" he is and simply focus on the fact that spirit is both easier and more powerful and and freddy is not quite as powerful but a lot easier and you still said hillbilly of loops... Damn

This poll assumes all killers tunnel. Which I will agree it is at least 85% playing like total tools. I do not tunnel, for any reason. I have also had less than 5 DCs in my matches from Survivors ever (1500 hours/ 300ish killer specifically). There is obviously a direct correlation between people wanting to play with you in a match and not playing like an A**hole. DC penalty and several updates over the last year have made tunneling the meta in this game, which is sad. If I play 6 survivor rounds and 1 killer is not tunneling everyone like a jerk I am pleasantly surprised by the one guy and assume he is a survivor doing a daily. Do I wish people relied more on skill and objectives and less on Camp/Tunnel/Slug sure but the devs have promoted the later more and more over the year. And will continue to do so until they have squeezed every last bit of fun out of this game.
You're a copypasta now (not because of me) but I read the copy pasta and it made me pretty mad for several reasons
1. You're just assuming on a basically racism level of hate
2. You obviously don't have many killer hours because I see you don't know the actual struggle of playing killer in red ranks
3. The devs actually don't promote those 3 but nerfed a of them the DS change makes tunneling very risky while it was the go to strat back in the day they also nerfed slugging significantly and camping makes your emblems ######### so pipping is prevented if you camped btw camping is stupid anyways
4. If you think the DC penalty is bad then you should just play a different game shouldn't be one with ranks though because all other games with mmr have dc penalties.
5. A last tip pls play a lot more killer I need more killer in high ranks so I don't have to wait 5 minutes for a match you can tunnel and camp how you want because being camped is still more fun than waiting in queue
Thanks in advance

You underplay slugging a lot in this post. Leaving them on the ground creates about as much pressure as hooking them. Someone still needs to come off a generator and go get them. Nobody said you had to leave the vicinity either.
Don't tunnel or alternatively do slug and you'll never see DS in play.
I've had way more games where DS wasn't even used than I do having it get used.
You talk about slugging against DS now see what survivors usually do against that
1. BT after unhook
2, a. Locker
2, b. Unbreakable
Where is the counterplay may I ask you

@Fibijean said:
Possibly, it has something to do with the fact that killer is easier to pick up. It's easier to do well as killer when neither you nor the survivors know how to play than it is to do well as survivor in the same situation. So if killer strength were balanced around the skills of the average player, rather than the best players, new survivors would get absolutely stomped and stand no chance whatsoever in their games.
This logic is what kills the killer player base there are so few killers already and saying oh yeah good killers lose so average survivors have the chance isn't a good thing to say and more and more killers are either changing to survivor or quitting the game like me I'm just done with losing against bad survivors because they have 4 crutches survivor is so op atm that I survived 8/10 matches with only unbreakable and I'm not even very good you just hold m1 for some time and win that's what playing survivor is atm and why the queue times are too long and if having a miserable experience against good players wasn't bad enough already killers get hate for everything they do... How dare you slug as Oni! Don't use Infectious! noed noob! I can win without slugging! And that goes on and on
