  • Oddly enough, this stopped happening to me. I wish I had some fix to share, but nothing about my internet changed as far as I know, made no adjustments other than what I had already tried several times (cache clearing, port forwarding, etc.) - and seemingly no revelations in all my messages with support. It's possible that something I did resulted in the fix but it's difficult to say because I tried a lot of different things and played pretty sparingly before I took a break.

When it was bad it was happening every single day, multiple times a day, and that seems to be the case for others as well. I took a break feeling like I'd reached a bit of a dead end in July. Some time around Sept/Oct I started playing regularly again and it has only happened one time in the past few months and I played a ton during October.

I'm glad it stopped for me but it is very frustrating that there was no solid explanation as to why it was happening, and no obvious indication of what caused it to stop happening. Sorry to see that it's still an issue for some.

  • Last day of event and bloodrush and my first match of the day ends like this. Getting harder and harder to remain a fan of this game. All I can do is keep expressing how disappointed I am. The game is close to being literally unplayable for anyone that has this issue and we've gotten no actual word on whether they even PLAN on fixing it. Completely ridiculous.

    https://youtu.be/zRSMkmWfUPQ

  • Sucks so much to have this happen in an intense match where all players are giving their all and it's a close game. Also sucks that I lose items and de-pip because of it on top of the penalties and wasted time. I just want to be able to play the game. I don't even know if anyone at BHVR cares about this issue. I just don't get how they can ignore it / blame the players when it happens to so many people even if the frequency seems to vary from person to person. How is it acceptable that anyone has this experience with their game? So disappointing as someone who is a fan and is invested in the game / community.

    https://youtu.be/NXdvc6Sxwl0

  • Is it accompanied by the "Dedicated Server is not responding; disconnecting..." error message? I started a thread on that issue a bit before the event, which has been marked as "under review" for a while now. No indication of whether anything is actually being done about it though. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/379080/dedicated-server-is-not-responding-disconnecting#latest

  • Ridiculous that this is still going on. I've been unable to enjoy the event with this continually happening. It happened several times last week and I opted to take a break to avoid lengthening penalties. Decided to hop on for some matches today and of course I just end up disappointed once again. Feels like by the time this is fixed I'm just gonna be completely done with even trying.

  • Just going to keep sharing clips at this point. Really hope we get some news about this after the weekend because I'm pretty disappointed and irritated that our ability to play during the anniversary event is hindered. Instead of continuing to play I just have to log off for the day to avoid higher penalties.

    https://youtu.be/27p0SUq2JII

  • I'd just like to note that this error even occurs while playing in customs versus a lobby of bots. Video below. Just had it happen again in a public match as well and am pretty upset that the server issues are going to ruin my first time playing during an anniversary event.

    https://youtu.be/O6CmqgmgEWQ

  • Here is another example of mine where you can see the server stop responding after a teammate got unhooked in the HUD.

I'm on PS5 so I can't upload .log files from games where the error occurs, but if any PC players in the thread can do so I'm thinking that might be helpful for devs to review? There's instructions in the pinned post on bug reporting forum. Glad the status of this thread is changed from pending!

I have been having this issue for a few months now. I've talked back and forth with BHVR and all they ended up saying is that it's on Sony's end (I'm on PS4). I doubt this is the case, as I have only had issues with this game. I took a week-long break due to the bans getting higher and higher, but today I've been dc'd twice in the past hour and a half. I do love this game and really hope this gets resolved, I've put over a year of time and quite a bit of money into it.

I've also gone back and forth with support for months and they just continually either repeat troubleshooting suggestions I've already tried, or say they're looking into it or investigating "my case", but can provide no timeline. With no acknowledgement from BHVR, I really fear that the issue will be ignored and that all the time and money I've put into the game will feel like a complete scam. Support has told me to contact both Sony & my ISP and both say there's nothing wrong with my internet/console and say I should contact the publisher of the game that I'm having issues with.

It's extremely disappointing, I love the game as well. This needs acknowledgment. Each support email has a different name attached to the header, sometimes it feels like a real person and sometimes it feels like AI troubleshooting or boilerplate responses. It makes me feel like there's no continuity or progress to my discussions.

  • I messaged a player I was in match with today, and even though it shows a disconnect icon next to every player in the endgame lobby, no one else aside from me was kicked from the match.

  • Happened again. Canceled using my power, realized I had no prompt to use it again and then the match ended with same "Dedicated server is not responding..." message. Once again, endgame lobby shows everyone as having disconnected. This time I also included extra footage showing that I received a DC penalty for it.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7kp9TzVJWU

  • Since some of us may be receiving different error messages now, I started a thread specifically for the "Dedicated Server is not responding..." error. I'm going to try to make it difficult to ignore and upload a clip in the comments every time the error occurs.

    Linked here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/379080/dedicated-server-is-not-responding-disconnecting#latest

  • Here is another example of the "Dedicated server is not responding..." error I just experienced while playing survivor. This example also shows a disconnection icon for every player in the endgame lobby, like @Malkhrim described. Needs fix ASAP, please acknowledge.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvh8t12QITg

  • UPDATE: With the latest update, the issue is still occurring, but it now says "Disconnected" with the error message "Dedicated server is not responding; disconnecting..."

Still gives a DC penalty as usual.

  • Continues to ruin games on a daily basis. Sick of this issue and sick of complaining about it with no acknowledgement from BHVR. They go on and on about listening to the community yet they don't acknowledge a thread on their bug reporting forum with over 100 comments. And I'm the type of person who usually plays devil's advocate for the devs when people are overly harsh in their criticisms. It's honestly so disappointing.

  • Still happening on a regular basis.

  • Same here. The thread I linked below is about this issue, has been happening to a decent number of players for a while now but BHVR hasn’t publicly acknowledged the issue as of yet. Here’s to hoping they deal with whatever is causing it before the anniversary event.

If it's true that it only affects certain accounts, that is absolutely wild. I would be devastated to lose progress and money -- I have 100% achievements, 5k+ hours, I achieved p3 prior to the prestige rework on every survivor... Yikes.

Yeah I mean if it is account related I would hope it's still something they are en route to fix. I've had the same issue on an alt account, but I'm on PS5 so even if I play with a different user account it's still using the PS+ subscription I pay for on my main account to enable online multiplayer.

I submitted another support ticket today with the following message.

    Hi, sorry for the all-caps.

Please, please do not give me a form response. I know y'all are busy, but I desperately need to know that you are taking this seriously.

I'm sure you're aware, but there is a thread in the bug reporting forum that has upwards of 90 comments surrounding the sudden uptick in "Disconnected From Host" errors occurring in the game, apparently across all platforms.

    ((Linked to this thread))

This is the thread, started by Chesnoodle. I have been a frequent participator in this thread, and have been doing my best to work through troubleshooting steps with several other people there.

To be clear, several times a day, I receive a "Disconnected from Host" error and am booted from live matches. This results in DC penalties racking up exponentially. Usually, I have to take a long break from DBD to get the penalties to reset, so that I can play without fear of getting a ridiculous ban.

Let me run you through the troubleshooting I've done:

    - Restarted my modem/router

    - Contacted my ISP

    - Had my ISP come to my house and agree there is nothing wrong with my connection

    - Exchanged my ethernet cables

    - Opened your recommended ports on my router

    49003 – UDP Inbound AUDIO

    49004 – UDP Outbound AUDIO

    49005 – UDP Inbound VIDEO

    49006 – TCP/UDP Outbound/Inbound Remote Input

    - Changed my DNS settings

    - Monitored packet losses while playing the game (no drops, but DBD disconnects while my internet is unaffected and no other games/programs lose connection)

    - Repaired the game

    - Uninstalled the game

    - Installed the game via Epic Games with the same result, so I returned my purchase and went back to Steam

    - Extensive (and I mean EXTENSIVE) tests with various in-game settings that others have tried, like de-selecting tome challenges or turning off the in-game challenge notifications on the HUD

I have tried just about everything I can think of on my end to resolve this issue. I have 5.5k hours in Dead by Daylight and have played the game since the anniversary in 2020. I have never had this kind of problem before, and from the sound of it, it's not an isolated issue.

Forum user EasternSpock had the following exchange with someone from support in early May:

"You see.. Internet service providers use things called internet exchange points to efficiently carry data from your device to any destination. These points are along a path where data from your device is sent to the Dead by Daylight servers and back to your device. If an internet exchange point is having trouble or goes down, this can impact your connection which seems to be your case."

This led to us doing some chatting, and confirming that several of us are in a similar area (Southern New Hampshire, Northeastern Massachusetts, Boston-area, etc). So, it's likely that our ISPs are routing through the same IXP. I hope this is helpful information for your purposes.

With all of that being said, I want to express how frustrating it is not to have a single response from your team on our forum post. This issue has frustrated so many people. It's driving me and others away from the game. We just want to play! We want to give you our money, and get excited about the anniversary event, and play with our friends. But instead, we're literally getting shut out, and it seems that our asks for help and *acknowledgment* are going unanswered.

If Dead by Daylight was a ranked game, I could understand the need for a penalty for disconnections. But it isn't. The only 'rank' that exists is our MMR, which will dip each time we disconnect anyway. I don't see the logic in forcing people out of the game for something beyond their control, and I guess I never will.

Were you ever the good kid in school who never did anything to get into trouble, and then felt sick to your stomach when your whole class got silent lunch because of bad behavior from a few students? That's what this feels like.

I appreciate you taking the time to read this message. I am passionate about Dead by Daylight, and especially with the anniversary coming up, I want to be able to experience it with my friends. Please let us know, at least, that we've been heard.

    Thank you.

Just want to add to this and say I am also having this problem. I submitted a ticket and they wrote back saying they know this is an issue and they're working on it, but it could take some time to fix. I really wish they would cap the DC penalty since they know this is an issue out of the players' control, especially so close to the anniversary.

Well thanks to both of you guys for continuing to reach out to support about this. If Eisenbuns' message doesn't get some acknowledgement I don't know what will. At least they responded to nopuzzles by actually admitting that it's an issue they're working on instead of the usual troubleshooting suggestions. Really hoping for a fix by the anniversary event because being forced to play less and potentially missing out would be a huge bummer.

  • @obiwancannoli said:

I think I may have found a fix for some of the crashes. A few days ago in the options i turned off the new tome challenge tracking hud they added recently and I haven't had a crash since whereas before i had crashes everyday with it enabled.

Thanks for that info, I’ll give it a shot later this evening and edit this comment if I get DC’ed. It’s hard not to be skeptical at this point but I don’t remember having this issue before the mid chapter update for Forged in Fog in late January so it definitely seems worth a try.

EDIT: Like eisenbuns, I was still disconnected from host after disabling it. Had a hopeful streak of matches until I had it happen like less than a minute into a match after a doctor used static blast.

So I'm hearing they CAN tell the difference between a disconnect, a server issue, and a timeout? :p

I’m hoping the reason for this change is related to the reports of this issue. Maybe they will better be able to troubleshoot on their end if players can specify which sort of connection error is occurring. If that enables them to fix it, or at the very least make it so the penalty system doesn’t punish players for server issues, I’m for it.

The second option is of course less than ideal, because even without the unfair DC penalties it sucks to play almost an entire match and then get kicked, losing all BP and challenge progress. Especially if it’s happening game after game, which seems to be the case sometimes.

  • Curious about this snippet from the recent PTB patch notes in regards to this issue. Doesn’t sound promising in terms of a fix but I am assuming it will now say something other than “Disconnected from Host”

Had the same problem on PlayStation 4 last night. Usually for the most part my internet is also fine. But then of a sudden got kick out of a match. Got a 13 minute penalty. I know 13 minutes is nothing but I will agree that it sucks that you ended up getting punished for no reason. I even had video evidence and try to send it to customer service. They sent me a automated message and told me to post my issue on here the forums. But yeah I totally get it, it’s annoying for sure.

Edit: Well customer support got back to me and said that the best we all can do is monitor our internet. Basically if that happens again we have to either restart our internet and also gaming systems.

The suggestion to monitor internet/console is pretty laughable when this is something that ONLY happens with DBD. Pretty sure they just don’t want to outright admit that it’s a problem that they are aware of but don’t know how to fix, because that’s a pretty unacceptable outcome. Personally I would at least respect the honesty and appreciate the communication if they were to do that. I have a hard time believing no one at BHVR has seen this thread and I can’t think of another reason why after 70+ comments they would say absolutely nothing about it.

The fact that they opt for silence on the issue makes it seem like they fear severely affected players will demand compensation, and they don’t want to deal with that because it’s pretty murky what would be “owed” to players that have spent money on the game and been prevented from playing for varying periods of time.

  • @edgereflex said:

having the same issue here, contacted support and get the standard 'restart your router' message which does nothing

Disappointing to hear that they’re still recommending all the troubleshooting that doesn’t work and suggesting it’s on the player’s end. Several of us have done everything that support recommended and at this point there’s no excuse to continue having people waste their time like that. Pretty disingenuous on their part. I went through a long back and forth with support and tried all their suggestions. Ended with them claiming to be investigating the issue on their end, and that they can offer no timeline on a fix. They should be leading with that at this point.

  • @wiccan said:

I am up to an hour dc timer because the game keeps kicking me from matches. My ping is fine, my internet is fine, my lan cable that I have plugged in is not loose. Nothing is wrong on my end, I have checked time and time again. Please remove the dc timer until there is a fix for this. It is getting to a point where I’m afraid to play because if I do and get disconnected, my dc timer goes up even more.

Yeah I went back and forth with BHVR support for weeks and tried all the troubleshooting that they recommended on my end but none of it worked. It has to be an issue with the game itself or servers and it seems they either can’t identify what’s causing it or how to fix it. Anything you say to BHVR support about the DC penalties resulting from this issue garners the same response of “the penalty system is fully automated, we don’t accept appeals, etc”. I had to just stop playing for a week to reset the penalty.

Unfortunately that’s probably the best course of action if you’re already at an hour long penalty. At least then you won’t start getting hit with the 6+ hour penalties in the middle of the anniversary event.

I’m on PS5 and also had no issue for ~2-3 days but it happened again last night 😢

    UPDATE :

game works fine in epic games

i merged my account to Epic games and everything works fine

no disconnect from host anymore so the problem with steam itself !?

I would wait and see, it could be a coincidence - sometimes I am able to play a series of games without the issue only to suddenly have it happen 4-5 times shortly after.

It can’t just be a steam issue because people in this thread have reported having the issue on PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Switch. It’s possible that BHVR could be doing something to fix it behind the scenes without ever publicly saying anything about it. It’d be kind of maddening if that’s how it ends up being handled. I suppose I will be grateful if the issue just disappears, but I’d rather have confirmation that it’s fixed so I don’t have to be paranoid.

  • @RedRosesRot said:

I play on PC and I've been having this same issue for the past 48 hours. I'm now up to a 15 minute penalty because it thinks that I've been disconnecting, but I haven't. It's mostly been happening as I've played Demogorgon and kicked a gen then charged my shred--it cancels my charge and I am unable to do anything except run around for a minute. The survivors can't seem to see me but I can see them just fine and they aren't running into walls, which tells me it's NOT my internet as I can watch them heal each other, t-bag, finish gens, etc.

It's only happened to me once as a survivor thus far, but this has only become an issue for me SINCE the bug fix--nothing like this has ever happened to me before, and it's very frustrating putting 1500 hours into a game that has begun to punish me for trying to play it only to be disconnected by the server itself.

Yeah it has happened to me on killer and survivor with various things seeming to trigger it (health or hook state change, picking up a survivor, etc.) what you described has happened to me on several killers, where I am using/charging their power, then get stuck in the animation and realize I can’t do anything. Then it’s the loading screen and endgame lobby with “Disconnected from Host” error. It was happening to me before the bug fix patch too but more and more people seem to be experiencing it as of late.

Thank you so much for sharing this! It IS encouraging that they've taken a little bit of ownership for the issue.

If they're saying it's an Internet Exchange Point issue, I wonder if we can find any commonality in our locations that might help them pinpoint which players might be being affected (if there is a commonality, of course).

So, for posterity, and because I tried playing a match yesterday (just one!) that also ended in my disconnection when someone got unhooked:

    Platform: PC (Steam)

Lobby Host: East Coast US Server (I am most frequently the lobby host, but I have been disconnected while playing on West Coast hosted lobbies)

    Location: Massachusetts/Boston area

To recreate: Play any match, survivor or killer. Get "Disconnected from Host" error when a server has to validate a health state change, hook state change, or potentially when killer is using power (Wesker charging power, Huntress charging hatchet toss, etc).

Thanks to everyone keeping this thread at the top of the bug reporting forum! This issue is one they could easily brush under the rug and we don't have to accept that. <3

    Thanks for expressing your appreciation!

It feels like we could potentially be getting somewhere, because I am also on East Coast US servers and am in the tri-state area. If internet exchange points are indeed the issue then our locations being relatively close probably isn't a coincidence. Also wouldn't be surprised if it is an issue in several regions though.

  • @midnightdawn said:

Also i believe it might be cause of DST changes a lot of applications. doesn't recognize the time change of windows for example discord and Microsoft teams

so maybe that's the cause of the issue.

I’ve seen this suggested on troubleshooting pages before, it can’t be the cause. People have this issue on PC, Xbox, PS, and switch. I’ve gone through a lengthy troubleshooting process with BHVR support and none of the fixes that were suggested on my end worked. It has to be an issue within the game itself or the servers. The thread “Forcefully kicked from match” has 40+ comments from people experiencing “Disconnected from Host” errors.

  • As for not getting fully healed, I don’t think Reactive Healing can ever fully heal you by itself because it heals “50% of missing healing progression”.

The wording can be a bit misleading, but I believe if you are already 50% healed, Reactive Healing will then only heal 50% of the remaining progress, bringing you to 75%. Not sure about bugs with activation though.

  • I am sharing the conclusion of my emails with support below. Not entirely sure what to make of it but I’m sharing just so everyone can see what they had to say after repeatedly having me try troubleshooting that didn’t work, and suggesting I reach out to my ISP and Sony. Hard to say for sure but I hope they really are looking into it, and I hope it’s a priority and will be fixed soon. Hard to be anything but doubtful at this point though.

    —————

    Hi again,

I was able to understand that you seem to be having some connection problems within the game itself according to what you just described and you need help in order to fix this and get back to enjoying the game and we want that as well.

You see.. Internet service providers use things called internet exchange points to efficiently carry data from your device to any destination. These points are along a path where data from your device is sent to the Dead by Daylight servers and back to your device. If an internet exchange point is having trouble or goes down, this can impact your connection which seems to be your case.

I understand you already tried the troubleshooting steps that have been provided so far and I know how important this is for not only you but all the players that may be experiencing this connection issue, which is why it is something we will have to look into and find a way of fixing this like we have the recent bugs and issues that have been reported to us.

With that in mind, thank you for reporting this as it truly helps our investigation.

This is getting annoying.. Me and my friends are getting this same "Disconnected from Host" error. And for everybody's information, we are on a different platforms and on different Internet Service Providers. 2 of us on PC (Steam), 1 of us on PS4 and 1 of us on switch, and we are getting the same random disconnections now and then.. Don't blame it on poor connection, as I have said, we are on different ISPs (2 PLDT, 1 Converge and 1 Sky Fiber) and I am sure, our connection is fine. Is it a problem on a particular platform? I guess not, cause we are on different platforms. And we only started experiencing this DC after the 6.7.1 update last May 3. So we are beginning to think, there might be something in the last update that messes up the connection or something on the server side went booboo after the last update. AGAIN THIS IS VERY FRUSTATING, Losing PIPs and all because of this DC

It is indeed very frustrating. What’s even more frustrating is that a thread claiming Off the Record is broken with no explanation or details (probably just a person who performed a conspicuous action) gets a Dev response and this thread has gotten zero acknowledgement. At least tell us that BHVR is aware of the issue please. Then we would at least know to stop wasting time with troubleshooting on our ends and wait for a fix. It feels very bad to have no information at all. I’d love to progress through the rift but I can’t because I keep getting “Disconnected from Host” error and losing progress on my challenges.

This is awesome I’ll have to try this! currently getting kicked every other match again. I have a clip of it happening, but it doesn’t seem to want to attach to the report.

Here's to hoping it works, I'm trying now - I'll post another comment if I get disconnected.

    _

Edit: It did not fix the issue. I just got kicked mid match once again with "Disconnected from Host" error while playing killer.

  • Well, I went through Sony’s support just to exhaust everything that BHVR support has told me to try. They suggested port forwarding, which I had already tried. Sony said to contact the publisher of the game that is giving me issues (big surprise) because some multiplayer games may require additional reports to be opened. I told BHVR support this and they did give me a list of ports to open. I haven’t tried yet but if anyone else also wants to give it a shot, I copypasted from the support email below.

    ————————

I understand that Sony recommended port forwarding as a potential solution for your connection issues with Dead by Daylight. To answer your question, we do indeed have a set of ports that the game uses to function, here is the list:

    • 49003 – UDP Inbound AUDIO
    • 49004 – UDP Outbound AUDIO
    • 49005 – UDP Inbound VIDEO
    • 49006 – TCP/UDP Outbound/Inbound Remote Input

Its so annoying how they say it is our internet is the problem even though so many of us are having this issue. It is 100% something wrong with their servers and they need to fix this asap. I dont know why they cant realize we arent the ones causing this issue. I have contacted support to try to appeal my 24 hour penalize hopefully they dont tell me to restart my internet and close the ticket. I will keep contacting support until they fix this i am very unhappy with this bug. I love the game a lot and the fact that you get penalized and ban for this issue is heartbreaking.

Ignore this comment I accidentally posted a duplicate bc my previous comment didn’t show up initially.

Yeah, I’ve gotten to 24h before because of the error as well and just had to take a break to reset it. Support has a highly scripted response when you ask them about penalties in any way, even if it’s related to this server issue that is forcing disconnection from host. Mine is back up to 30 minutes and I just stop playing for the day when it happens. It’s frustrating because it seems like BHVR’s strategy is to ignore the issue because they realize how unacceptable it is but don’t know how to fix it and don’t want to compensate anyone who spent money on a game they cannot play. I wish the devs would just address this thread and acknowledge that they see it is frequent problem for many players and are looking into it. I’m sure everyone on this thread would be happy to provide any information that could help them.

This happens all the time to me on Switch. It doesnt seem as often as some people have reported, but it happens at least once a day to me.

I've honestly just started to assume it has something to do with the DDoS thing but I have nothing to base that on other than how it usually coincides with something going horribly wrong for one of the players and then the disconnected from host message pops up.

I don’t think it has anything at all to do with the DDoSing that streamers were experiencing. Primarily because I discovered the same error also occurs in custom games while playing against bots. I am leaning towards it being a server issue. As others have said, it happens sometimes when a health state changes, but I’ve also had it happen at other times, such as while using the killers power. I’ve had it happen while revving Billy’s chainsaw, after crouching as pig, dashing as Wesker, etc. But it’s pretty difficult to attribute it to any one thing because other times it’s markedly less clear if there was something specific that happened to trigger it, I’ll just suddenly realize something is off or not working correctly and then I get sudden loading screen and am booted to the endgame screen with “Disconnection from Host” error message. As OP has said, if I am playing survivor it sometimes shows the killer as having disconnected as well - but apparently the match continues and the killer is not actually disconnected. I was unaware of whether the match continued in these cases where it showed the killer as disconnected as well because I play solo, but OP confirmed that his friends played out the rest of the match even when it showed the killer as having disconnected on their end.

I also have a wired connection with 40-50ms ping and have tried all the troubleshooting options that support suggested, and the fact that it happens even against bots tells me it’s not an issue of connection to other players.

  • Yeah I noticed PWYF randomly lighting up and then going into cooldown without accumulating any stacks when I was playing Sadako. Didn’t realize it was coinciding with undetectable.

  • It is indeed still happening after the bug fix patch. This needs to be acknowledged ASAP. It is entirely unacceptable that I have bought characters and cosmetics for this game and it is basically unplayable because of this error and the resulting penalties. I am frankly disgusted with how support continues attempting to pass the buck by telling me to contact Sony or my ISP. The fact that they tell me to contact both tells me they have zero idea what they are talking about and are just throwing ideas at the wall and having me waste my time when it is the developers responsibility to look into issues that are regularly affecting a number of players. I have been forgiving in my conversations with support but it is getting tiresome, and we have not heard at all from the developers concerning this issue. Even if you don’t know what is causing it or how to fix it, let us know you are aware that it’s a problem for a decent chunk of players. Blatantly ignoring the players that are reporting this is starting to seem like a grossly unprofessional form of damage control and that speaks incredibly poorly of BHVR as a company. I hate to speak so harshly and don’t want to come off as rude or unappreciative of all the hard work that is put into the game but I don’t know what else to say. All the reports of this issue need to be addressed.

  • I’m gonna lose hope if the bug fix patch tomorrow doesn’t address this. Happens every single day. Absolutely sick of having my games being interrupted and getting penalties from this garbage.

  • I have the same issue on PS5. Game suddenly bugs in some way and then I get loading screen and ”Disconnection from Host” error message. At the worst I ended up with a 24h penalty less than 5 minutes into my first match of the day. My internet remains fine throughout and I have a wired connection and good ping. This error even happens during custom games with bots. I’ve exchanged several emails with BHVR support about it, they pretty much ignored any sentence I wrote that suggested it was an issue with the game/servers and not something on my end. When none of their troubleshooting suggestions worked, they suggested I contact my ISP or Sony.

  • Have had the same issue on PS5 recently, have had it happen while playing survivor as well. I also was afraid to queue and risk higher DC penalty, so I played against bots in some custom games - same issue occurred several times while playing against the bots.
