Survivor player states that a game can be lost (4K) if he makes one mistake, and that it isn’t fair.
Killer players have accepted for a long time one mistake can cost you the game, killer side.
People don’t DC because things aren’t fair. They DC because they are entitled, selfish and don’t care about anyone else but themselves.
Your team loses because you are a crybaby and left. How the heck can you try to say you are not ruining the experience for others? Face it, you just don’t care - and it ruins the game.

Gann I have no idea how you all do so well with Spirit. I find she can only mindgame at loops if she has her power, and even then against good survivors I hardly get them. She is just not fun to play.
Also if you’re so successful can you start YouTube/streaming it? I would love to see what I am doing wrong. Can’t find actual proof she isn’t gimped. Only people declaring she’s ‘great’. I just see an add on dependant killer.

SWF is broken. Everyone admits it. Trying to remove good killers so we have no chance at high levels will only aggravate the shortage of killer players. Also please stop saying Spirit is fine. Nobody plays her seriously anymore. Not even Gann.

Short answer: People are selfish, ignorant and bullying makes them feel good.
Sadly you are dealing with a lot of losers. Frankly if they had real lives they wouldn’t be so horrible to others (because they would have courtesy).

Instead of making up alternate imaginary rules to make the game fun, I think I’ll just not play it. Also I do not miss the lack of sportsmanship many survivors display, so that’s also a bonus.

I quit ages ago because as a professional I already work and get paid. Playing killer is NOT fun anymore. My brother keeps telling me to come back and I told him the moment he actually enjoys a game as killer (without it being a chore to do the rift or get BP) I will come back.
He hasn’t yet had one fun game.
Killer is in a really bad place in my honest opinion, and it has been this way for a while. Look at your streamers- even most of them camp or tunnel now.

I had the same issue and it turned out I needed a front facing IP address added to my internet service. Whether I pay more because my provider changed their service, or whether DBD changed theirs, I can’t tell you. I can tell you it’s not the survivors cheating in this case.

Hey Gann, mind hitting me with a few favourite Spirit builds you find competitive against SWF’s? I will give her another shot out of respect buddy. Any perks, got them all unlocked.

Hey TheGannMan, huge respect, but spirit is just no longer fun to play for me. She is hard countered by iron will and at high MMR I find survivors just toy with me. Also sounds get bugged at the worst times and tracking is a nightmare. It just isn’t fun. Why would I spend my valuable time off of work…working?

In this game killer players are beaten down until they lose all humanity while playing. Sadly to play killer you just have to have thick skin and ignore it.
Or quit. Like many have.

Their equation is wrong. Kills do not equal skill nor does pure escaping. Until they realize they have to include chase time, killer stuns and the killer hooking the system will always fail.

Manipulating your MMR by losing, then applauding yourself for pseudo winning while still driving your MMR down is smurfing. Yay. You are having fun beating people up you shouldn’t be matched with.
Do I blame you? Not really, killer sucks right now. Do I agree you should do it? No.
Sorry but it is still the cowards way out. But hell I can’t bring myself to play killer anymore so you’re a better person than I.

The old ‘why are people jerks to me after I am a jerk to them’ question. Answer: you are not entitled to ruin someone else’s experience without them ruining yours.

Are you actually serious? That is completely the opposite of everything I have seen. Are you just saying that to make people feel like they are bad when they’re not? Tell me one twitch streamer that is able to win the majority of their killer games (3-4K), and plays at high MMR. I don’t know if ONE.
Tell me please. If I am wrong I DESPERATELY want to see it. I can’t play more than 3 games as killer without becoming sad these days.

Playing without tunnelling or camping often only gets 1 kill at high MMR.
Watch your favourite twitch streamers and you see the game is busted. They play it professionally and still get destroyed as killer. Some hardly play killer anymore due to the imbalance.
Ignore it if you want. Just understand why killers leave. Even if you are lucky enough to 4k it’s from someone DC’ing.

The developers said if we don’t feel the game is fair or enjoyable as killer we should play another game (I.e. civilization). This game is not fun as killer anymore, and yes I play both sides but prefer killer. I am playing other games now instead.
When you no longer have killers to play with because you were poor winners and had bad manners hopefully you will be wise enough to realize why.

Boon totems are blue colour on survivor side aura also, so way more than 3 aura colours.

I am also finding that it’s harder and harder to turn on the game anymore.
Give her view of the survivors and finish the nerfs. Remove her phase. I am done.

OP stated clearly that he believes that games are too easy for top survivors now due to SBMM. He suggests to others to go perkless when at his skill level or higher to make matches more fair (very considerate of killers, thank you).
People ripped him apart for trying to be considerate.
If the game loses its killer player base in the future from toxicity on the survivor side you may regret attacking him.

I admit I don’t understand how his argument about blight losing 5 gems in 2 chases is for sure not a balance issue. If he is not great at blight I agree, that is a personal play issue. If he is fantastic at blight, and it happens constantly, that shows a balance issue.
Ignoring that high MMR killers, proven great at the game, can’t compete with survivors is dangerous. Even survivors answering honestly admit that at high levels they see it.

Using the bible to validate hating or judging someone is exactly opposite of the message.
