We all good, sorry if i was rude. I was just trying to point why this pip system can't work for survivors.
For killer, you can make this system because they are solo player. And all actions (bad or good) came from them. But for survivors you can't do this. Like i said, how game will decide what pip you will get when you die early. Because your team can still win the game. But if you don't wanna watch and leave early, how game will decide your pip? And you can't force people to watch game while they want to play (cuz we all have limited time at day cuz work or school).
I just can't see this system works for survivors. Survivor pip system needs to change tho, we agree on that.
I think it can work. How exactly, is what Im not sure of.

Your suggestion does not makes sense at all.
So let's say you died at 5 gens. Instead of watching, you left for another. But your 3 teammates made it escape. So you will lose pip or you will get pip?
And like i said, escape is so rare for solo-q atm. Just from my exp, it's around 30%. My kill rates are higher, like 80%.
So most likely with your suggestion, i will never get red grades because most likely i will keep lose pips. Current pip system is pretty bad but i am sorry for saying that but your suggestion is worse.
I didnt say it was a fool proof idea. i didnt say it was perfect or that it was a good idea, I just said an idea.
If you die at 5 gens, then to be honest no one deserves to pip. In less of the case of a hacker but what are you to do there.
And I dont know what soloqueue gamers you are in, but I rarely see a 4k in mine. To be completely honest, I think the community over exaggerates how bad it really is. DOnt get me wrong, it sucks, but its not that bad. At least not any more.

No, not true. The aim of this idea is to encourage team play. If you all work as a team everyone can benefit. If you die, at 2 gens, which lets be honest is the average when a survivor dies in a typical match where no one dcs or this or that or whatever, and your team can get a 3 man escape, which is doable, everyone gets to a pip. THere are also underlying factors that also go into it, but hey, its just an idea.

Now imagine no one comes out for 10 games straight but you did all 5 gens, unhooked 3 teammates and healed 4 and got chased for 2 minutes. Must feel bad not getting a single recognition.
As it is atm, the problem with pipping and de-pipping is that you can de-pip from a win, which shouldn't happen in any way shape or form. You can pip once (idk about twice as I think that would promote a different mentality which not everyone may like) even if you were extremelly efficient. I de-pipped just the other day cause SK decided to go afk (maybe they had to do something idk, they started playing normally).
You should also not de-pip when someone in your team DC's, as well as the killer.
Pipping should happen both when you've done well individually (say you all died but you were very productive), when you are very efficient therefore end the game early and when you get 3 men out even if you died in the process (the game should be able to judge how useful you were to the team).
De-pipping should not happen when you win efficient, when the killer DC's, when a teammate DC's therefore making the game a loss 90% of the time.
Im not saying its fool proof, just a suggestion. And as I said in a comment above, just like killer, you would have to do things to earn the emblems. I guess my point is the pipping should be based on emblems, emblems should be complementary to pipping.

I love DBD and have been playing since 2017, but it just seems to not be fun anymore. Constantly clashing over meta things and never changing perks because “iT cOuLD hElP nUrSe” has made me resent the survivor community a lot. Even more so after a bad match I get messages telling me to off myself.
Im even Hide my name but they still will send threats and hate. I don't Camp, I don’t truly Tunnel, and I don’t even use the Meta killers.
Im not going to do what they ask but it makes me hate that side of the isle even more. I know 50% of the Survivor base are good people but it just gets draining.
I just had 4 0Ks in a row due to map destination and the constant presence of at least a three man bully squad.
I don’t want to give up with the next Killer so near But im Just sick of the harassment post game along with the only true advice being “Get out” or “get Good”.
Well said my friend. I totally understand where you are coming form. People say its entitlement, and to a degree yes, but I think its something deeper. Hopefully you can find joy in the game again, best of luck to ya!

If they removed depipping it would be nice. We can't control when people DC or leave instantly on hook.
My only thing with that is if they do, I feel the game may lose some of the grind aspect. On one hand, I agree cause if a survivor dcs to be honest Id rather go next instead of play a doomed match. On the other, its kinda nice having to grind a bit and worry about playing well to get a pip, I just think its done in the wrong way if that makes sense

The very least they can do is remove depipping.
Eh, I think depipping isn't the problem. Its just there are some many factors that go into it right now. Lets be honest, the state of the game survivors are quick to give up. But with the system I proposed, it incentivizes team work and sticking it through. Now, just like with killer you cant just 4k and double pip, you have to have good chases and such. same with survivor you gotta do something and not just escape.

The survivor state right now is a souless, unfulfiling, not fun and tedious affair.
And it's partly developers fault and the killer community.
The developers wanted strong killers and as unique as possible so they turned to the killer community, who more than gladly made the worst killers to play against/be chased by,such as :Demorgorgon,Wesker,Dredge,Artist whom you praise as beign good designed.
Well they're not, they're very much anti looping, and forcing the W meta to be put in use,and eventually the Bloodlust mechanics to set in,or in other words just a more fancy version of Legion from 2018.
And those survivors that stuck around and have knoweldge of this, form the SEAL SWF groups that terrorise the killers,by genrushing and picking the worst map offerings known to mankind..
There are no playstyle in the game anymore,no more chaser/flashlight/juker or healer/rescuer players...only gen jockeys who hope to waste the killer's time as much as possible when beign chased.
I have not in my entire DBD career, since Clown's release, felt more frustration losing as a survivor and absolutely no happiness when winning/escaping,
Sadly the only joy I get from the survivor gameplay is when I use the bad perks they make you do for the challenges, and go out of my way to make them happen.
And by joy I don't mean excitement that I'd get is from dropping a pallet in a nail bitting moment.
I mean as in fulfilment that I completed the challenge, probably a kin to what Dark Souls players feel.
Something has to change, and the developers would most likely be forced to make a difficult choice of either reworking a large amount of the killer's cast and add new gameplay elements as to not dissaponing the Camp---hookers community..
Or reinforce the survivor nerfs that's been happening in the recent years,as to accomodate new survivors to the playstyle, and milk as much as possible from them and hope new surivors replace the old one.
If I may offer some input, they didn't go to the killer community. Demogorgon is not entirely to strong, I agree wesker is ######### stupid and I wish he was never added to the game, Dredge is one of the most balanced killers, so is Demo. Artist can be oppressive, but ultimately you need some strong killers.
Its a catch 22, killer plays match casually, just vibing doing challenges and trying to pip, runs into sweaty survivors who think they have to sweat 24/7 to have fun, killer gets frustrated, killer sweats, goes to next game, sweats on survivors, survivors get frustrated, they sweat on killers. Its a viscious cycle, and where the game feels stale, and I dont care what anyone says, ultimately two different games modes would benefit the game. Your casual players can do their things, those who want to sweat can do what ever they want. Because you run into the same perk builds all the time, and this is the meta, which for killer is going to always be gen slowdown/regression. And in the state where the gen perks keep getting nerfed, killers are resorting to unfun tactics, playing only certain killers cause they need anti loop to create pressure, and going against the same 5 killers is boring and make the game unenjoyable.
