  • DH is made exactly for getting the distance in the chase. Your idea is make DH, which will just "avoid" survivor taking a hit. In this game, where the basic attack doesnt work properly (mostly because a ping difference) its a terrible change to think about. Nobody would run that perk anymore.

  • DH is fine as it is. You dont want to see all the survivors running SB, trust me. You would really quickly reconsider your idea.

The last thing the coldwind farm maps need are buffs.

I swear that you are the Oni, who couldnt learn how to loop harvestor :P

  • To be honest, there is no counterplay. Also things, you mentoined are not counterplay. It's just that you guessed something what she might do, IF she is not really good at playing Spirit. If she is paying attention to sound, she will always phase on top on your head, even if you will try to do all these "mindgames" together in one phase.

She needs desperate rework more than any other killer in the game.

Right after that, there needs to be Deadslinger.

  • @psionic I love to see your comments. From what I can tell, you are pure Spirit main, just because you are bullied in red ranks. Phasing on top of survivor head without him knowing about that is totally fair, there is surely counterplay (like iam done).

    Just shut your mouth dog.

Honestly, I think I've only seen tier 2 become active a few times (not even 10) since i started playing in 2016. I dont think it's that important to be addressed and would prioritize many other issues above this

It means that you are playing in the smart & efficient way. I agree that there is more important stuff to adress, but this change is relativly simple.

DH is almost the same! This perk was designed a long time ago (2017) and it doesn't fit with the current gameplay flow now. It's the same as Bloodlust, rewards Survivor for bad plays and can undo any error they did with a press of a button.

I am not sure if you are trolling or you are being serious. DH is perfect exhaustion perk, well atleast an idea. Its fitting to the gameplay well and it doesnt reward survivors for bad plays, it is a perk which helps them gain distance to make it to safe spot. I dont see any single reason why you would want to remove the best exhaustion perk.

Well bloodlust stays for stopping the infinite loops. The point of the game is sooner or later the killer will get you and that's why bloodlust exist. While you look at it as bad killer gameplay, removing it would be rewarding the lazy survivor style which just found a god loop and stay there without worrying about the Bloodlust. Moreover during one of my matches there was only 1 survivor left and he was at a god loop. It was the last survivor and I really needed that kill so I started to chase him and we looped quite a lot then my Bloodlust increased and I did finally finished my chase.

The thing is a killer that chases survivor more and more will already be punished at the match because while the killer chases the survivor, other survivors can do gens. So the killer is already punished for that behaviour actually. Other than that for the situation I gave example at the top Bloodlust can be needed to finish chases. Bloodlust is not for killers but for survivor to encourage them to move another place and not using the same loop.

i dont agree with this..at this stage of the game there are no infinites anymore...if you end up in chase in bloodlust tier 3 as a killer, you did terrible mistakes and you are just punching your head to the wall and putting bandage called Bloodlust over it

  • @RepostRiposte pretty much yes..for 1st - it has nothing to do with this suggestion (i would recommend to make his own one, if he has anything to say), for 2nd - DH is fine (when you are not exhausted on ground)

  • @helix43 said:

Sure, as long as dead hard goes with it.

what is wrong about DH? kekw ...and why we even talk about DH?

  • Deadslinger was one of the worst killers added to DBD..he desperately needs a small nerf and buff in same time...the ideas with ADS cooldown are brilliant..Its just simple and correct, to change it in this way..

As a buff i would add him maybe 1 or 2 extra shots, so he doesnt need to reload after every try.. (doesnt need to be exactly this, but atleast an idea)

After that, there would be potential counterplay and not just spamming A&D key, while hoping that he will miss....

He is the #1 (maybe after Spirit) most hated killer just because of his stupid ADS, which makes no sense, as there is no possible reaction time for survivor.

  • @RepostRiposte that is exactly what iam trying to point. If the hook grabs would be removed, that will end up with survivor which is unhooking will go down and will be sacrificed. If it would be just these types of situations, Isn't that a punishment for a bad play?

I would be happy af if survivors would get me such an easy kills like this, literary free hooks.

  • @Raptorrotas said:

    You're right.

We , finitely shoild remove grabs as they never seem to work.

But as not to change the balance of the game,

Survivors now take double damage when hit while performing any action.

It works in IdV.... just saying.

Why? Can somebody just give me a reason why we should keep this in the game?

  • @BangBang why I should not be complaining about this lame gameplay in rank 1? Like the game is changing by reaching red ranks or what? KEKW

About he camping being a strategy, can you please read my discussion one more time? You know what, i will be a nice guy and let me just grab the part which you completely took, changed and used it against me:

"I know, that you are considering facecamping as a strategy"

Now tell me, are you sure that I am considering camping like a strategy?

Just please for a future, try to read a discussion before you will post any comment. It may help you in your life a lot of times :)

  • @Kirkylad said:

I thought they did seeing as my grabs get cancelled regularly when I'm chasing a survivor and they run to the hooked one and get them off in front of my face just because they have BT.

you need to be right behind a survivor to perform a grab..if you are swinging from far distance, you will not get grab...thats the reason why the grabs from unhooks are used only by facecamping killers, because they are just waiting for a hook save directly in the front of hook

  • @BangBang said:

Why do you think it's healthier to give more disadvantages to killers?

Without grabbing, basically killers without 1 shot kill have no way to camp.

Survivors are free to do trades any time and that's just too helpless for killers.

Even with grabbing exists, if you go with 2 people you can still save them by blocking killers.

Why do I think it would be healtier for a game? I pretty much explained the reason. I don't see any reason why we should keep rewarding the killers which are playing this way, just because they are bad in the game. As a killer I dont see this like an disadvantage, I really dont. I was never in situation when I would be standing in front of the hook waiting for my grab. Why? Because I just dont like to play that way, that I will end up facecamping the survivor. Everybody is just complaining about how the killers are weak, but in reality i 4k while not playing like a scumbag in 9/10 games in rank 1. Just stop.

  • @BenihimeWrath that's bad idea. Undying meta was boring and unhealthy for game. As a killer you should not fully rely on hex perks. Taking them is a risk which you should consider before setting up your build. I don't know if you are playing survivor aswell, but imagine looking for 5 totems on the maps like Midwich, Meatplant etc. where even good survivors have a problem to cleanse current undying & other hex perk.

    Advice: Use Pop

Manners on the forums, never thought I'd see the day

I dont really know what you mean by the manners sir. I think, that I am kind enough :)

  • I agree. Killers will cry in the coments about survivors beeing bad, but they never played against multiple freddys in a row. My point is - usually killers do have some specific power: cutting loops (trapper, clown, hag), invisibility or stealth (wraith, spirit, ghostface), teleporting (demogorgon)...but Freddy? He just has everything in one..not fair killer at all...also i never understood & i never will - his stupid long lounge.
