My Progress is lost ?
So I activated cross progression between my PS and xbox and I made the mistake of doing so prior to launching the game on Playstation, and seems like it just took my progress from xbox and sent it to my PS even though my higher progress was on, how can I recover my progress and characters ? I raised a ticket three weeks ago and I got no response.

Yeah I used to play alot back in 2019 on my PS account before switching to xbox
You probably missed a step along the way.
How to enable cross-progression in DBD:
You need to first link your accounts here: https://account.bhvr.com/account/my-account/providers
Then synch them here: https://account.bhvr.com/account/my-account/games/dbd
People often miss the second step.
I triple checked the syncing and it is synced, its very weird because my auric cells and demogorgon from PS are showing in my xbox but all the other killers are missing

yes that's true! You do need to log into both accounts to be able to fully cross progress the content.
So is there any possible way to get my stuff back
If I am understanding you correctly, and then coupled with what Mandy said, you need to log into the game on your Playstation to 'trigger' the upload of its' data to the BHVR servers so they can then send them to your Xbox. If you no longer have your Playstation, that's… a problem.
Problem is when I open my playstation all the progress there is overrode when I synced xbox and PS together
